DTF Season 6 Brings India’s Biggest Theatre Showcase to Delhi-NCR
Delhi NCR To Witness India’s Biggest Theatre Showcase with DTF Season 6
New Delhi, 27th October, 2025: Delhi Theatre Festival (DTF), the capital’s biggest celebration of stage and storytelling, returns this November with its much-awaited 6th Season, promising an unparalleled theatrical experience with iconic stories, stellar casts, and the magic of live performances.

The sixth season of DTF will unfold its magic this year over three days – 14th, 15th and 16th November, across four esteemed venues in Delhi NCR – the iconic Siri Fort Auditorium, NCUI Auditorium, OP Jindal Auditorium, and Aurum Conventions in Gurugram.
American Express has returned as the Title Sponsor of the DTF for the sixth consecutive year. The festival showcases a range of theatrical performances across Delhi NCR. Ahead of the public ticket sale, American Express Platinum Card Members enjoyed exclusive five-day presale window, followed by ongoing benefit of 20% savings and a complimentary companion ticket on select seats, as part of the sponsorship.
Further strengthening its association with art and culture, M3M India has come on-board as the Powered By sponsor for this season, supporting Delhi Theatre Festival’s vision of bringing world-class theatrical experiences to the city’s audiences.
Sharing his vision for Season 6, Mr. Prabhu Tony, CEO and Co-founder of Alchemist Live, said, “Over the past five seasons, Delhi Theatre Festival has grown from a city event into a cultural landmark. With Season 6, , we’re reimagining the festival at an even larger scale which includes premieres, legends, and new voices all sharing one stage. We are proud to bring together the finest talent and audiences to celebrate the timeless magic of theatre.
Adding to this, Naseeruddin Shah said “Delhi Theatre Festival has been a constant companion in my journey over the years, and it feels special to return yet again with Einstein. Every season brings a new energy, new audiences, and new stories, and that is what makes this festival such a vital space for theatre.”
Delhi Theatre Festival has become a space where stories find the audience they deserve. Bringing Karamjale Brothers here for its Delhi premiere is exciting not just for the cast and crew, but for me as a director, because it’s always a thrill to see how Delhi responds to new work, said Rajat Kapoor.
Resonating with him, Vinay Pathak added, “Every time I come to Delhi Theatre Festival, I feel like I’m part of one big family reunion only with a lot more drama! This year, with Karamjale Brothers making its Delhi premiere, I’m doubly excited to share the stage (and the mischief) with audiences here.”
“This is my very first time at Delhi Theatre Festival, and I’m truly looking forward to it. Sir Sir Sarla has travelled to many cities, but bringing it to this festival, where theatre is celebrated with such passion is an experience I am eager to share.” Said Makarand Deshpande.
With 12+ shows, and an expected footfall of 15,000+ audiences, Season 6 is poised to be the largest edition of the festival yet.
This year’s stellar line-up includes some of India’s finest theatre legends:
