Swapnil Jain
Swapnil Jain, a multi-faceted artist who transitioned from acting to writing, defied the odds to become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry. Hailing from Bhawani Mandi, a town in Rajasthan, he embarked on a creative journey spanning writing, theater, and film in 2014. His versatility shines through as an actor, director, and writer for various theater groups and NGOs. While initially known for acting in web series like “Crash Course,” Swapnil’s exceptional writing talent soon took centrestage. A turning point in his career came with his collaboration with Pocket FM, where he played a pivotal role in creating the groundbreaking audio series ‘Insta Millionaire,’ amassing 650 million plays and multiple awards. Deeply immersed in audio series, Swapnil also wrote acclaimed plays like “Romeo and Juliet in Smart Cities of Contemporary India” and “HAIN!,” earning widespread acclaim and featuring in national theater festivals. Impressively, he wore the hats of both writer and actor in “Rubisha,” now streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
Priyanka Rao
Priyanka Rao, 25, originally from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, began her career in the Rajasthan private sector. However, her desire for a Ph.D. in chemistry led her to a serendipitous encounter with Pocket FM, courtesy of a perceptive friend. With unwavering enthusiasm but no concrete plan, Priyanka ventured into this unique industry, initially keeping her shift secret from her father, confiding only in her mother. Apurva Anitya
Apurva Anitya, the writer behind the audio series “Sherdil,” exemplifies the power of pursuing her passion. From a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Apurva followed her love for writing after marriage, holding an M.A. in economics. She began her professional journey with magazine contributions and translations but lacked financial independence. Moni Singh, a 21-year-old student from Bihar, discovered her passion for penning stories at 19, forging a path to creativity and financial independence. Despite financial challenges, she supported her family, especially her sole-breadwinner father. Moni shattered stereotypes as the first writer in her family and inspired others to pursue their passion, encouraging Bihar’s women along the way. Piyali Kar
Piyali Kar, the writer of Pocket FM’s popular audio series “Maseeha Doctor,” excels in the medium. Her journey, marked by diverse influences, career shifts, and a deep storytelling passion, began in the GEC space at Colors TV and Voot. Careernet’s virtual Diversity Career Fair concludes with around 1,000 participants
Bengaluru, 30th September, 2023: Careernet Prism, the diversity-focused vertical of India’s leading talent solutions provider Careernet, successfully concluded the 5th edition of India’s largest virtual ‘All Diversity Career Fair’. The event witnessed the participation of around 1,000 women, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Armed Forces veterans. The career fair was supported by community partners Brisk Olive, Mitra Jyothi, SignAble, Spectrum of Inclusion, TALMS, WeIndia, and Tech for Good partner NASSCOM Foundation. The event stayed true to its theme, “Championing Diversity at India Inc.”, by addressing the critical gap in promoting diversity within India Inc’s culture. The virtual career fair enabled professionals from intersecting diversities to explore employment opportunities from some of India’s leading equal-opportunity employers.
Additionally, the entire event was interpreted in real time by Indian Sign Language (ISL) interpreters to ensure that the content was accessible to deaf candidates in attendance. The interpreters also helped deaf attendees interact with employers at the company booths.

Hidden gems from tier 1 and 2 colleges steal spotlight in Contentstack Techsurf 2023
Mumbai, 30th September 2023 – Contentstack, the leading Digital Experience Platform (DXP) provider, recently concluded Techsurf 2023, the brand’s annual Pan India college coding hackathon. This was the 4th edition of the prestigious event, a two-month-long coding saga aimed at identifying and celebrating the budding technological talent in India. This year’s competition was open to students graduating in 2024 and 2025 from B.Tech/B.E., B.Sc. IT, BCA, and MCA streams. 34,396 students registered for the event from 2,825 colleges across the country.
The competition kicked off with the Quiz Round, with 11,019 students displaying their knowledge and expertise. Only 736 candidates reached the second Video Pitch Round, and were able to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions. The judges handpicked 42 exceptional participants to advance to the Prototype Submission round, where they brought their visions to life.
After weeks of extensive competition, Contentstack proudly unveiled the winners during a LinkedIn live event. Aman Gupta from Ganeshi Lal Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management emerged as the champion, securing ₹2 lakh for his exceptional coding skills. Following closely, Ankur Kumar Raj from IIT Kanpur claimed the 1st runner-up position, while Ayush Dubey from KIET Group of Institutions and Aditya Kumar from JIIT secured the 2nd and 3rd runner-up spots, respectively. The runners-up were rewarded with generous cash prizes: ₹1 lakh for the 1st runner-up and ₹50 thousand each for the 2nd and 3rd runners-up.
Besides the cash prizes, all hackathon winners have the remarkable opportunity to join Contentstack as Associate Application Engineers after successfully clearing the pre-placement interview with the panel. The Minister of State, along with EcoSoul Home’s President and Co-Founder, Dr. Rahul Singh, marked the occasion by inaugurating the factory, which was built at the of cost INR 10 crore. Spanning over four acres, the factory will be producing eco-friendly home essentials like kitchenware and tableware from agro-waste such as sugarcane bagasse, straw, and bamboo pulp.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Minister expressed his well wishes to Rahul Singh for his determination towards environmental causes and for inspiring the youth to do the same. He also stated, “This factory will bring development to the area and the state. It aligns with the ‘Make in India’ initiative and provides fair employment opportunities to farmers and underprivileged women across rural India.”
It’s worth noting that a significant portion of sustainable single-use items are imported from China. However, it is also evident that India possesses a treasure trove in agro-waste. This factory will emphasize upcycling these resources by creating products that are not only planet-safe but also contribute to the local communities.
With the present abundance of raw materials present right in India, this factory will carry forward the notion of Honorable Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi’s – “Make in India” initiative, by harnessing domestic resources and building a more sustainable future that supports rural communities through employment generation.
The factory has a daily production capacity of three tonnes (3,000 kg), with exports expected to create direct employment for at least 50 people and indirect employment for 200 more.
On the occasion, the co-founder, Rahul Singh, also noted, “Our goal from the beginning has always been to improve the lives of farmers and rural women. We chose Muzaffarnagar because of its sugarcane cultivation, a key resource for most of our products. This facility is built with a vision to empower rural women through employment, fair wages, and a safer working environment, thus contributing positively to society.”
