Orchids Sahakar Nagar Branch Achieves 100 Percent Results for 16th Consecutive Year

Bangalore, 07th May 2024: Orchids The International School, (School Vivekananda), Sahakar Nagar branch today announced its remarkable achievement of attaining a 100% pass rate in the ICSE 10th Board examinations for the 16th consecutive year of the board examination since 2008. Students Medha S Rao and Saanvi K have excelled, achieving outstanding scores of 98.8% and 98.4% respectively.

Manipal Law School, Bengaluru Hosts 4th Edition of its Constitutional Law Lecture Series on Social Justice

7th May 2024: Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, a constituent institute of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru, continues to strive for a paradigm shift in the field of legal education. In an endeavor to instill students with a strong sense of social justice, Manipal Law School, MAHE, Bengaluru organized the 4th edition of its Constitutional Law Lecture Series on 4th May 2024, with the theme focused on ‘Social Justice’.

Hon’ble Mr Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge, Supreme Court of India was the Chief Guest of the event. The event was also graced by Hon’ble Mr Justice E. S. Indiresh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka, Lt. Gen. (Dr) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, Hon’ble Justice Dr K J Thaker, Chairperson, GHRC & Former Judge, Allahabad High Court. Prof Avinash Dadhich, Director, Manipal Law School, MAHE, Bengaluru shared his thoughts as to Constitutionalism to be understood in the right perspective by the law students and law professionals. He stressed the lighthouse principles as laid down under Fundamental Rights embodied in Constitution of India which the class of prudent individuals must put in efforts in making rural communities aware of.

Addressing the audience, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Hon’ble Mr Justice E. S. Indiresh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka, also shared his experiences in detail about social justice in the light of landmark judgments given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India from time to time. He also laid greater stress on the mechanisms available in terms of Constitutional Remedies to be utilized for the upliftment of weaker sections of our Society.

Hon’ble Justice Dr K J Thaker, Chairperson, GHRC & Former Judge, Allahabad High Court, took this opportunity to take the audience through issues and challenges about the delivery of Social Justice. He shared his visionary thoughts thereby connecting the preamble of the Indian Constitution to the modern-day predicaments, the lower strata were facing.

Chief Justice, Hon’ble Mr Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge, Supreme Court of India threw light on the efficacy and importance of social justice and its delivery system in India thereby taking the audience through Case Laws and jurisprudential underpinnings as propounded by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, who was the chief architect of the Constitution of India. He laid more emphasis on the weaker sections spoke volumes of their upliftment and sensitized the audience to be of assistance to such sections of our society in the delivery of social justice.

iLEAD’s Managedia 2024 Witnesses 45 Colleges Participating in 40+ Events With 4000+ Footfalls

Kolkata, 3rd May 2024: Managedia 2024, the 10th edition of Kolkata’s largest college festival, concluded with resounding success as students, dignitaries, and sponsors came together to celebrate creativity, talent, and innovation. Hosted by the Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development (iLEAD), co-presented by State Bank of India and in association with PS Group, Managedia 2024 took place from April 16th to April 20th, 2024.

Under the theme “The Octet: Ignite Infinite,” Managedia 2024 aimed to inspire students to harness their imaginations, share their knowledge, and embrace multiple opportunities. This year 45 colleges participated in 40+ events. The event kicked off with a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the illumination of infinite possibilities.

Dignitaries from various sectors graced the opening ceremony, including Mr. Prem Anup Sinha (Chief General Manager at State Bank of India) as the chief guest. Additionally, esteemed guests such as Mr. Ujjwal Kumar Chowdhury (Vice President of Washington University of Science and Technology, US), Mr. Arturo Lavelle (Director of the Unimarconi University of Italy), and Mr. Alkesh Agarwal (Co-Founder and CEO, Refeel Cartridge Engineering Pvt. It is ideal for those looking to advance in their current roles, such as moving from a marketing executive to a managers leading GTM strategy or a sales executive to an Enterprise Sales Lead. It is also suitable for those looking to switch profiles to marketing, consulting, strategy, or the Founder’s office. The program offers tech professionals the opportunity to move into more strategic and managerial roles, such as Engineering Manager, Product Manager or Technical Program Manager in product and tech companies (established MNCs and innovative start-ups). Scaler works with more than 900 employer-partners internationally, including the top names in every tech sector like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Zomato, Airtel, Wells Fargo, PayPal and others, who regularly hire Scaler alums, and these existing relationships will be leveraged to help SSB learners build sustainable careers.

The program’s founding cohort will have an intake of handpicked 75 to 100 students and will commence in August 2024. The admission process will comprise a series of written and video essays, followed by two 1:1 interview rounds. Scaler School of Business’s campus is located in Electronic City, Bengaluru, surrounded by leading global corporations with access to a state-of-the-art classroom and hostel (optional).
