Academic-Industry Tie-Up: Osmania University and N Space Tech to Drive Space Research

N Space Tech, a Hyderabad-based Defense and Aerospace startup, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, University College of Engineering, Osmania University (UCEOU), to promote collaboration in space research, education, and technology development.

 The agreement aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by offering students and faculty access to facilities, internships, hands-on training, and mentorship opportunities. Under the MoA, both institutions will engage in joint research and publications, provide cooperative education experiences in satellite design and communication, conduct skill enhancement programs focused on space technology and exploration, and organize technical exhibitions, conferences, and workshops.

 Representatives from UCEOU highlighted the importance of creating a learning ecosystem that enables students to engage directly with real-world technological challenges.

 “At N Space Tech, we believe the future of space and defense lies in the hands of the young minds of today, the students, and this collaboration is a step towards empowering this generation to build a brighter future full of great possibilities and opportunities,” said Divya Kothamasu, Co-founder of N Space Tech.

 The MoA will remain in force for two years, during which both organizations will collaborate on academic programs, research initiatives, and project-based learning to strengthen students’ practical skills and innovation capabilities.

 Known for developing cost-effective, state-of-the-art solutions in satellite communication and the Aerospace and Defense sectors, N Space Tech expressed its commitment to nurturing the next generation of engineers. ZS Releases 2024 India Social Responsibility Report

New Delhi, 30 April 2025: ZS, a global management consulting and technology firm, has released its India social responsibility report for 2024. The report highlights the impact of its initiatives on 85,655 beneficiaries through social programs and strategic partnerships with nonprofit organizations. With a donation of INR 9.3 crores in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, ZS collaborated with 20 nonprofit partners to address critical societal challenges in four key areas: healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and environment and sustainability. The firm’s 2,246 volunteers contributed a total of 7,663 hours to programs in these focus areas, demonstrating ZS’s commitment to meaningful Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) priorities.

Pre-NEET Mega Mock Test Goes Live in 80 Cities, Offering Free Prep for Medical Aspirants

Kota, 29 April 2025; Ahead of the NEET-UG 2025 examination scheduled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 4th, Motion Education, organized a Mega Mock Test. This large-scale simulation was conducted not only in Kota but simultaneously across 80 cities nationwide, drawing participation from 8000 NEET aspirants.

 It is to be noted that, in Kota, the mock test was held from 2 PM to 5 PM, mirroring the exact time slot of the actual NEET examination.

 Nitin Vijay, Founder and CEO, Motion Education, personally visited test centers to encourage students. He stated, “This mock test was meticulously crafted by Motion’s top faculty to align with the new NEET-UG 2025 exam pattern and its anticipated difficulty level.”

This engagement marks another milestone in the ever-strengthening India-Egypt relationship, building on the momentum of the 2023 elevation of bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership and the recent recognition of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with Egypt’s highest civilian honour.

Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE, highlighted the enduring people-to-people and institutional linkages between the two nations. He emphasized India’s vision to become the “Skill Capital of the World” through the Skill India Mission, under which already close to 400,000 individuals have already been trained in advanced domains such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and big data, while nurturing over 1.3 million entrepreneurs.

India’s efforts to align its vocational education and training (TVET) ecosystem with global standards, and the establishment of world-class Skill India International Centres, were presented as models for international collaboration.

The Egyptian delegation shared insights into Egypt’s comprehensive TVET reforms, including the EU-supported TVET Egypt Reform Programme and the establishment of Sector Skill Councils, which resonate with India’s scalable and affordable skilling models. Both sides acknowledged the success of ongoing collaborations, such as the 2024 MoU between India’s NIELIT and Egypt’s Information Technology Institute, the El-Sewedy Group’s partnership with Amity University, and the Indian-supported Vocational Training Centre in Cairo.

Looking ahead, the two countries identified several promising avenues for future cooperation. These include joint certification programmes, faculty and student exchanges, digital skilling and entrepreneurship initiatives, and the establishment of Centres of Excellence in priority sectors like information technology, agriculture, tourism, and green skills. Q1’25 Hiring Trends: Apna Reports 1.8 Cr Job Applications and Major Upswing in Female Talent

Mumbai, 29th April 2025: India’s job market is surging ahead with renewed momentum in 2025, as revealed by Apna’s latest “India at Work – Q1 2025” report. The platform witnessed a record-breaking 1.81 crore job applications, a 30% increase from the previous year, reflecting India’s growing economic optimism and digital hiring boom across sectors.

Women’s participation in the workforce soared, with over 62 lakh applications—a 23% year-on-year jump. Notably, applications from women for enterprise roles doubled, marking a 92% surge. This growth was most pronounced in Tier 2 and 3 cities such as Chandigarh, Indore, and Jamshedpur, driven by flexible work options, gender-inclusive hiring, and expanded opportunities in sectors like BPO, finance, and HR.

Freshers also powered India’s employment engine, contributing over 66 lakh applications—a 46% YoY increase. With companies increasingly recruiting from beyond metro cities, emerging talent hubs like Rajkot, Warangal, and Meerut are now part of the mainstream hiring narrative.

On the supply side, Apna saw 3.1 lakh job postings, up 26% from Q1 2024. SMBs led the charge, posting over 2.1 lakh jobs, including 28,547 roles exclusively for women. Enterprise hiring rose sharply with companies like LIC, Paytm, Delhivery, and Flipkart creating over 1 lakh openings, expanding recruitment beyond metros and tapping into the national talent pool.

28 April 2025, Fiji: On Friday the 25 April, world-renowned humanitarian leader, Sri Madhusudan Sai, was conferred Fiji’s highest honour, the ‘Companion of the Order of Fiji’, by the President of Fiji His Excellency Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu. The function was held at the State House of Fiji and attended by dignitaries from Fiji and around the world. The previous recipients of Fiji’s highest honour include the Prime Minister of India Hon. Shri Narendra Modi and the President of India H.E. Smt. Droupadi Murmu.

In accepting his award, Sri Madhusudan Sai stated: “I am deeply humbled and honoured to receive this recognition from His Excellency The President of Fiji. I accept on behalf of our entire global team of the One World One Family mission. Fiji has always held a special place in my heart, it is truly a second home to me.
