HDFC Capital Acquires Stake in TruBoard Technologies Private Limited (Truboard)
4th July 2024 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India HDFC Capital Advisors Limited has acquired 8.5% in Truboard Technologies Pvt. Ltd. TruBoard has developed a technology platform called TruGenie for real estate asset management which aims to address investors, and asset owners as well as the developer needs. TruGenie is currently being used by some of the top private banks and real estate funds.

Chennai Peripheral Ring Road: The Key to Singaperumal Koil’s Real Estate Surge & Transformation

National Musician Academy Recognizes St. Louisan “Lady J” Huston
Huston recently named a cohort for the academy, which is the only incubator of its kind for musicians.
(St. Louis, Mo., July 3, 2024) Joyce “Lady J” Huston, a seasoned entertainer and musician, has been selected as one of only 10 cohorts for the 2024 Musician Changemaker Accelerator (MCA) Academy by Music to Life. This prestigious program is designed to help musicians from across the U.S. make a transformational impact in their communities through their art.
The MCA Academy is the only incubator of its kind for musicians looking to create social change with their music. The Academy combines entrepreneurship and social design instruction with one-on-one coaching and strategic community engagement activities so its cohorts can develop a roadmap to turn their concepts into fundable realities, addressing critical issues such as cultural diversity integration, racial justice, and activism.

Miraj Group Launches Landmark Tree Plantation Drive
Udaipur, Nathdwara, 03rd July 2024 – Miraj Group today announced the launch of an ambitious tree plantation drive, pledging to plant 1 crore trees. AbbVie Staff in Bengaluru Commit to Supporting Students in 9th Annual Event
Bengaluru, July 1st, 2024 – AbbVie, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating medicines and solutions announced the ninth annual ‘Week of Possibilities.’ It is a global volunteering program that unites employees with a shared mission: to give back to local communities. From 10th June 2024, thousands of AbbVie employees across 50 countries and territories collaborated with trusted nonprofit and community partners to complete hands-on projects that benefit local communities and impact tens of thousands of people worldwide. This year, the highly anticipated ‘Week of Possibilities’ event will unfold across the vibrant cities of Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru.
“We at AbbVie are committed to supporting our local community in Bengaluru through volunteering. We are excited to collaborate with iVolunteer that helped us reach Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Urdu School in Bengaluru,” said Suresh Pattathil, Managing Director & General Manager AbbVie India. “During our ‘Week of Possibilities,’ one of our most anticipated annual volunteer initiatives, thousands of AbbVie employees globally come together to serve their local communities.”
In Bengaluru, volunteers experienced the joy of spending time and making a day of a group of government school students’ fun-filled and fruitful. The activity was divided into two sessions. In the first half, a session on ‘problems due to fast fashion and textile waste’ was by an iVolunteer representative for the volunteers. Then a training on how to upcycle a T-shirt into a simple cloth tote bag. In the second half, the Volunteers were paired with 1 or 2 students and conducted a session to train them on upcycling a T-shirt into a simple cloth bag. The bags were then donated to students at the school.

New Storage Facility Opening in Itasca, IL
Itasca, IL, July 03, 2024 –LSC Development, LLC is excited to announce the grand opening of a new self-storage facility in Itasca, IL at 1220 Norwood Ave. serving the west suburbs of Chicago.
The facility is strategically located just southwest of the I-390, and I-290 intersection with frontage to IL Route 53 where over 19,100 vehicles per day travel north and southbound. The facility serves Itasca, Wood Dale, Elk Grove Village, Addison, Roselle, Bloomingdale, Bensenville, and other surrounding western suburbs. The 3-mile area is currently home to over 75,000 people with a median income well above the national average of $97,000.
The scope of LSC Development’s most recent adaptive reuse project included a total makeover of the former Century Tile retail and distribution center. The building was converted from a 1-story tile warehouse into a 3-story storage drive-thru facility by raising the roof and adding 2 additional stories to the building.
The new facility features 99,969 rentable square feet and 952 various-sized storage units. A 191-foot-long by 24-foot-wide drive-thru loading with drive-up contractor units along both sides is a key feature of this facility. The building is fully climate-controlled, with a state-of-the-art security system, a secure keypad access and control system, coupled with an HD camera surveillance system.
The project was designed by SGW Architects and built by Cobalt Commercial Construction. Northern Trust provided the construction loan. “It was a pleasure to work with the Village of Itasca and neighbors in the warehouse/distribution park to reactive this property and supply the community with a much-needed amenity,” said John Nikolich, President & COO of LSC Development.
The facility is managed by Extra Space Storage leading publicly traded self-storage REIT that operates more than 3,500 storage facilities. Customer contact-free leasing is available through the Extra Space online reservation system. Storage units may be rented online, over the phone, or in person for customer convenience.
