Mumbai, 14 May 2024: PayNearby, India’s leading branchless banking and digital network, achieves a significant milestone by processing over 10 lakh PAN card applications through its rural and semi-urban retail counters including Kirana stores, mobile recharge stores, medical shops, travel agents etc. This effort aims to provide valid proof of identity and bring everyone at the last mile into the formal financial fold.
The achievement marks a significant breakthrough in making PAN card services easily accessible through neighbourhood stores, enabling citizens to conveniently avail essential financial documents. Leveraging PayNearby’s Distribution as a Service (DaaS) network, Bharat now has access to a wide range of financial and digital services, including in previously underpenetrated markets. HCL Concerts Unveils “The Great Indian Classical Podcast” – One of the First Series Focused on Conversations around Indian Classical Music

Celebrating National Technology Day, with the goal to discuss laws and regulations which support the sustainable development of technology, Dr Indranil Saha (Convener), Associate Professor & Chairperson, IPR Cell at MLS, MAHE, Bengaluru organized a symposium on ‘Interface of Emerging Technologies, Intellectual Property Rights and Policy’ on 11th May 2024 at MAHE, Bengaluru. The event served as a platform for experts and stakeholders from academia, industry, and the judiciary to discuss the adoption of Al in their sectors, along with the challenges and suggestions in the IPR system, finally leading to technology transfer and commercialization of the innovation.
