Clubhouse International and Fountain House Launch 2024 Clubhouse Week of Action

New York, NY, May 21, 2024 — Fountain House and Clubhouse International today announced their 2024 Clubhouse Week of Action, a dedicated time when Clubhouses across the country will be engaging their representatives, local businesses, the media, and others in the community on the holistic Clubhouse Model of mental illness recovery.
Clubhouses are community-based nonprofits that empower people impacted by serious mental illness to take control of their recovery and thrive through access to opportunities for employment, socialization, education, skill development, housing and improved wellness. Everything at the Clubhouse is free and voluntary, centering people’s dignity, agency, and choice as an essential part of their health and wellbeing.
By seeing people as more than their illness and building essential relationships and trust, Clubhouses have proven to reduce psychiatric crises and hospitalizations while also increasing the likelihood that members will be employed, stably housed, and able to further their education. All of this saves lives, while saving taxpayers an enormous amount of money, and is a model that should be scaled to help more people in need.
From May 28-31, during Mental Health Awareness Month, 36 Clubhouses in more than 18 states and the District of Columbia have committed to take action, including:
● Clubhouse Atlanta in Georgia will be hosting an open house featuring keynote speaker state Senator Sally Harrell.
● Fountain House in New York will be bringing a group of members and staff to Albany to meet with state representatives and speak on the benefits of the Clubhouse Model.
● Hale ‘Oluea Clubhouse in Hilo, Hawaii, will be teaming up with local business Two Ladies Kitchen to sell a special mochi box helping spread awareness about clubhouses in their community.
● New Horizons Clubhouse in Rapid City, Michigan, will be having a “Coffee at the Clubhouse” open house event, inviting the community to come learn more about serious mental illness and what recovery can look like.
Together, the participating Clubhouses and their members represent a cross section of the country, capturing people both from urban and rural communities and across the political spectrum. It’s a reminder that mental health has become a leading bipartisan issue and offers immense opportunity to invest in the evidence-based, community-centered solutions, such as Clubhouses, that can make a difference.
“We’re delighted to partner with Clubhouse International and more than 35 clubhouses across the country for our second annual Clubhouse Week of Action,” said Ken Zimmerman, CEO of Fountain House. “This dedicated week of community organizing represents what clubhouses do best — building relationships — while leveraging the expertise and leadership of members to be agents of change. Clubhouses have been the nation’s best kept secret for mental health for far too long and we hope these collective actions will continue to power our movement, advancing the dignity and rights of all 15.4 million adults in the U.S. living with serious mental health conditions.”
“Clubhouses transform individuals and communities. We are pleased to partner with Fountain House and other Clubhouses across the country on the Clubhouse Week of Action. This moment presents a prime occasion to welcome elected officials, community leaders and influencers and local media into a Clubhouse showcasing the effectiveness of the Clubhouse Model and underscoring the urgent need for new policies and funding to expand our holistic solution for people living with mental illness. We encourage all of the Clubhouses in our network to actively participate,” said Joel Corcoran, CEO of Clubhouse International.
For Brian Shade, a member of Austin Clubhouse in Texas, being part of a Clubhouse community has helped him address the pervasive stigma surrounding mental illness that can’t be tackled by medication or treatment alone: “Before Austin Clubhouse, I always felt a bit isolated because I could not share my diagnosis of bipolar [disorder] and its symptoms with anyone outside my nuclear family.” Now Brian is part of a community where everyone is “accepted for who they are” and his hope is that more people with mental illness can find the same, life-changing support.

ProDay All in One Charger
Dublin, Ireland, May 21, 2024 –ProDay Technologies has just launched its new all in one smartphone charger for pre order which is now available at www.prodaytech.com.
The product is the first smartphone charger to have all the features of both a wall charger and power bank including folding prongs, full length cable, built in power and a USB-C port.
The all in one is super portable due to its pocket sized and curved design.
It also features a dual charging function which allows it to recharge the built in battery while also recharging a connected device such as a smartphone.
The design has been years in the making and has been designed to be a true all in one so there’s no need for carrying around multiple chargers and cables just to get through the day.
The chargers round, curved design makes it especially comfortable while in the hand, a nice change from the traditional brick shaped chargers that haven’t changed much over the years.
While most of the current chargers available seem to focus on squeezing as much capacity and ports into them as possible, Proday have decided to focus more on solving the pain points that most people go through with charging.
This includes having to carry around more than one charger as well as cables.
Another common everyday problem with power banks is having to remember to constantly recharge them.
The ProDay all in one solves these two problems. The all in one design means no need to carry around any other chargers or cables.
The dual charging function means that the built in battery is automatically recharged every time you charge your phone from the ac socket.
The ProDay all in one can now be reserved for $1 at www.prodaytech.com and will be available for pre-order on July 30th via Kickstarter.
It’s available in three styles; minimal white, stealth black and classic blue.

Bvlgari Unveils Aeterna, Extraordinary High-end Collection, in Rome
Rome, May 21st – Bvlgari chooses the Eternal city of Rome, its hometown and everlasting source of inspiration, to unveil Aeterna, its new High-End Collection, presenting for the occasion a precious assortment of over 500 creations, including High Jewelry and High Jewelry Watches, High-End Bags and Very High-End Fragrances. An occasion to celebrate, with a breathtaking event, its 140th anniversary, a major milestone for the Roman Maison.

Highlighting the uniqueness of the event, Bvlgari staged its sophisticated extravaganza in a location, made accessible exclusively to the Maison for this momentous occasion, Rome’s Terme di Diocleziano, one of the world’s most extraordinary antique architectural complexes and beautiful open-air museums in the Eternal City, part of the Museo Nazionale Romano,
Considered the largest Baths of ancient Rome, spanning a surface of 13 hectares that was able to accommodate up to 3,000 people at once, the breathtaking complex, built between 298 and 306 AD, is adorned with splendid sculptures and fascinating ruins.
International guests, including Bvlgari’s Brand Ambassadors Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Liu Yifei, Shu Qi, Hikari Mori and Alessandro Gassman, enjoyed a journey into eternity where the layered beauty of the Terme di Diocleziano, the timelessness of Bvlgari’s High Jewelry creations and the state-of-the-art spirit of the event’s performances overcome the boundaries of time.
To celebrate the special anniversary, Bvlgari Brand Ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas wore the Serpenti Aeterna necklace, the most precious High Jewelry piece ever crafted by the Roman Maison. Featuring seven D flawless diamond drops totaling 140.00 carats, one for each year of the brand’s history, and 698 baguette diamonds weighting 61.81 carats, this incredible necklace required over 2,800 to complete, revealing an outstanding combination of creativity, expertise and audacity, values that have always defined the brand’s vision.
During the evening, the Terme di Diocleziano, that recently reopened to the public after long restoration works, hosted a spectacular jewelry show that took place in the Chiostro Ludovisi, an intimate space built over the Terme’s large outdoor pool. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, the show featured an iconic casting, including Mariacarla Boscono, Blesnya Minher, Elisabetta Dessy, Isabella Rossellini, Carla Bruni and Giacomo Cavalli.
Before the show started, guests had the chance to assist to a special, poetic duet by choreographer and dancer Sadeck Berrabah and ballet dancer Eleonora Abbagnato, the director of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. Mixing classic and contemporary dance, they celebrated Bvlgari’s ability to fuse past, present and future giving life to eternal works of art.
Their performance was followed by a fascinating choreography by Sadeck Berrabah and 80 dancers, who moved synchronously, perfectly embodying his signature artistic direction.
At the Baths’ Chiostro di Michelangelo, named after the famous painter and sculptor to who it is traditionally attributed, Bvlgari delighted its guest with a gala dinner conceived by Italian Michelin-starred chef Massimiliano Alajmo, who developed a menu specifically designed for the event.
The dinner was followed by a live performance by internationally acclaimed artist and songwriter Elisa.
For the occasion, “Vista Aeterna” an immersive installation created by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis, has been gifted to the city of Rome under the patronage of the Fondazione Bvlgari. The artwork will be at iconic Piazza di Spagna from May, 19th to June, 15th, and offers a contemporary interpretation of Rome’s urban landscape. It consists of twelve travertine-based pillars adorned with reflective colored mirrors that continuously rotate throughout the day, tracing the path of the sun from dawn to dusk. As they move, they capture and refract sunlight, projecting a spectrum of warm, sun-inspired tones onto the surroundings. Providing an ever-changing vista, it is a perpetual celebration of the luminosity of the eternal city and its architectural heritage.
Continuing its pioneering spirit and unwavering commitment to innovation in luxury, the Maison has also introduced the Bvlgari Digital Passport. This immutable digital record stores the unique characteristics and certificates of each High Jewelry creation on the Aura private blockchain, which safeguards product data indefinitely with the highest standards of transparency and security.
