Bry-Air and DRI conduct Sports Day at Bajghera, Gurugram to celebrate International Day of Education

New Delhi, 30th January 2024: Observing the International Day of Education, Bry-Air and DRI, the flagship companies of the Pahwa Group, organized Sports Day for students of Bry-Air Pathshala and DRI Pathshala. New Delhi, January 30th, 2024: Day 2 at the Delhi  SFA Championships unfolded with the kickoff of football at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and Kabaddi at the Noida Educational Academy.

At the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium football enthusiasts in the U-18 boys quarterfinals battled out for victory on the field. U-18 footballer Kshaunish Gawri from GD Goenka Public School, and a victorious participant in the Goa Super Cup charity match, expressed, “I started playing football in 2014, inspired by Messi’s humble journey from a small town. My parents and coaches have been extremely supportive in my journey, especially my mother, who has done everything within her capacity to support me. Joining the Delhi Dynamos training camp in 2018 helped me understand the fundamentals of the game. I believe that every experience, be it a win or a loss, is an important part of our lives, and while we faced a disheartening loss at the SFA Championships today, it reminded us that there’s always room for growth. Championships like this one bring out our competitive side while humbling us parallelly, and hence, I look forward to participating at SFA Championships again.

Simultaneously, kabaddi enthusiasts were treated to riveting encounters in the U-14 boys finals and the U-17 and U-19 boys semi-finals. The U-14 finals Modern School Noida Sector 11, bag their podium position, for gold.

A wide array of sports events for all classes were held which included Flat Race, Pick Up the Healthy Food Race, Sandwich Race, Skipping Race, Backward Race, Sack Race, Anti Germs Race and so on. Students and teachers enjoyed the events wholeheartedly amidst the thrills and cheers. The Sports Meet had the theme–Green and Healthy India, it was declared open by releasing doves in the air which symbolizes peace in celebration of unity and strength. Participants from Netaji House (Red), Teresa House (Blue), Vivekananda House (Yellow), and Tagore House(Green) displayed their zest. The rhythmic movements of the drill presented by students of Pre-Primary and Primary section enthralled the spectators. Through this collaboration, ICAI and JAIN will develop collaborative programs to foster intellectual and cultural growth within their academic domains, creating a mutually beneficial alliance.

As part of the MoU, ICAI will conduct specific training sessions in accordance with the New Education Policy, 2020, and organize special sessions for students conducted by the Chartered Accountants fraternity. Additionally, the MoU will facilitate a faculty development program with a focus on promoting the evolving teaching practices relevant to the domain as well as motivating the faculty to achieve a competitive teaching and learning environment. This program will be led by ICAI, which will nominate up to two experts per subject to enrich the governance structure of both institutions. Additionally, The University will now recognize Chartered Accountants Qualification as equivalent to a Post Graduate Degree for admission to Ph.D. in Management or Commerce and allied programs.

Dr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Registrar at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), expressed optimism about the collaboration and said, ” The collaboration between ICAI and JAIN reflects mutual dedication to elevating the standards of commerce and accountancy education which will create opportunities for academic excellence, and foster stronger institutional ties.
