Sakshi Jagadeesh – The 5th Generation Superstar From a Family of Music, Dance and Culture
Sakshi Jagadeesh is the 5th generation Superstar hailing from a family immersed in an enchanting world of music, dance, and culture. Following in the footsteps of impeccable talent, Sakshi learned Indian classical music under the tutelage of Smt. P Ramaa, the acclaimed singer who also happens to be her grandmother.
To hone her skills further, Sakshi has been training under Smt. Supriya Raghunandan to sing Bhaavageethe. With practice and expert guidance, her singing can touch soft undertones exuding emotion- an absolute delight to listen to.
Not just that, Sakshi has also gone on to thrive in dance, learning Bharatanatyam from Smt Veena Murthy Vijay over the last 5 years. The young artist also has contemporary dance, hip-hop, and Western dance styles under her belt.
She has taken part in several national music and dance festivals, showcasing her talent and paving her own path. She even lent her voice to a musical treat prepared as a tribute to her grandmother.
Presently, Sakshi is taking the stage by storm, playing a part in the most sensational theatre play ‘Bengaluru Nagarathnamma’. As a ‘Suthadhar’ in the play, Sakshi’s narrative presence on screen is a beautiful rendition to the overall immersive appeal of the play.
