ArohanPrivilege is now available to all eligible customers in India
Arohan Financial Services Limited, a leading NBFC-MFI, regulated by the Reserve Bank of India is now extending its first-in-the-industry digital microfinance service, ‘ArohanPrivilege,’ to all eligible microfinance customers across the country. Headquartered in Kolkata, Arohan operates from 18 states and is soon to expand its operations in southern parts of India.
In FY 2023, Arohan steered the launch of ArohanPrivilege, the Indian microfinance industry’s first-in-the-kind digital loan sourcing facility. This unique initiative is specific to gold-standard customers where they are offered the facility of receiving and serving their loans through 100% digital and cashless means, in a matter of minutes, and through Arohan’s proprietary apnaArohan app – all from the comfort of their homes.
ArohanPrivilege customers are offered special benefits and loans with low interest rates and loan processing fees. Customer can apply for loans from the comfort of their homes, without any group formation and center meetings. They are also provided with the flexibility to choose a loan amount and repayment frequency that is suitable for them – and all of this within minutes of a successful loan application.

Hubilo creates captivating and interactive webinars using Agora

The Problem
Lag, latency, and lack of interactivity during webinars
With growth, Hubilo ran into reliability and quality issues with their previous real-time service provider. Hubilo faced constant streaming issues like lag and latency and were unable to provide full, real-time interactivity between the speaker and the audience. Additionally, the previous video streaming provider’s lack of extensibility forced Hubilo to slog through labor-intensive integrations for various features for video quality enhancement, noise suppression, and transcription. Using multiple integrations and applications made it difficult to monitor and moderate live webinar sessions, which resulted in increased customer complaints. Hubilo needed a reliable webinar streaming solution that offered ultra-low latency streaming for interactivity and a full suite of features and extensions.
The Solution
Higher quality interactive webinars with better engagement
Hubilo decided to switch from their previous, unreliable vendor and implement Agora to power their webinar platform. Features like low-latency live streaming, AI-powered noise suppression, and real-time transcription enable Hubilo to offer a webinar platform with high-quality video and global reliability. Going beyond what’s typically offered in standard webinars, Hubilo wanted to add the excitement and thrill of a live event with an array of real-time engagement features like gamification, contests, polls, survey, and Q&A sessions. They also added breakout rooms, 1:1 chats and meetings, and virtual sponsor booths to encourage audience engagement and drive attendees to desired areas or pages on top of Agora’s infrastructure.

After implementing Agora, Hubilo has managed to reduce the video freeze rate, network delay and improve the channel joining success rate. The change to Agora also increased speaker and attendee interaction while enhancing audio and video quality.
