Dreamscape Media Acquires Audiobook Rights For Five Nobel Prize-Winning Titles By Renowned Author Jon Fosse

Holland, OH, March 01, 2024 — Dreamscape Media, recognized as an award-winning independent publisher and multimedia studio, is thrilled to share the news of securing audiobook rights for five titles written by Nobel Prize-winning author Jon Fosse. Known as the new Ibsen in the German press and celebrated throughout Western Europe, Jon Fosse is a luminary in contemporary Norwegian literature, recently winning the prestigious Nobel Prize for Literature in 2023.

The New York Times notes, “Reading Fosse is a singular and transporting experience…he is our age’s great writer of light and darkness.”

Jon Fosse’s literary prowess is exemplified in the five titles that Dreamscape Media is proud to bring to audiobook audiences in English for the first time, including Morning and Evening (March 2024), Boathouse (April 2024), Trilogy (April 2024), Aliss at the Fire (May 2024), An Angel Walks Through the Stage and Other Essays (May 2024). These titles are available in print from publisher Deep Vellum, who recently reissued Morning and Evening and Trilogy and will be reissuing Boathouse in Summer 2024.

Artistic Director for The Norwegian Ibsen Company and actor Kåre Conradi, well known for his role in the Netflix TV show Norsemen, will lend his narration to all five of the audiobooks releasing from Dreamscape in 2024.
