Honda Cars India registers 11% growth with 8681 units of domestic sales in January 2024
New Delhi, February 2, 2024: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, registered monthly domestic sales of 8,681 units in January 2024. The export numbers for HCIL stood at 4,531 units in Jan’24.
Commenting on the sales performance in January 2024, Mr. Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., said, “Entering the new year, our models have consistently contributed to our sales volume, reflecting a positive demand for our lineup. Honda Elevate maintains its strong performance, gaining growing preference and momentum month after month. Alongside Elevate, the unwavering success of the Honda City and Amaze has played a crucial role in sustaining our momentum.”
Honda Cars India Ltd had registered domestic sales of 7,821 units and exported 1,434 units in January ‘23.

Honda Cars India flags off the 12th Edition of ‘Drive to Discover’
- Showcases Honda’s premium up of the All-New Honda Elevate, Honda City e: HEV, Honda City and Honda Amaze
- The theme for this year’s drive is “The Journey to the East” and the Drive will cover over 500 km.
Hyderabad/Silliguri, December 9th, 2023: Honda Cars India (HCIL), a leading manufacturer of premium cars in India flagged off the much-anticipated 12th edition of its experiential drive series, ‘Drive to Discover’ today. The drive will feature Honda Cars India’s premium lineup, of Honda Elevate, City e: HEV, City 5th-Gen, and Amaze, and will pass through the magical landscapes of Sikkim and West Bengal.
The drive will commence from the city of Siliguri, and cover destinations like Gangtok, Pelling, and Kalimpong via the iconic town of Darjeeling and culminating on the 12th of December. This journey will provide opportunities for the participants to see Mt. Kanchenjunga in all its grandeur and immerse themselves in the region’s cultural richness, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
