IIM Kashipur’s Parivartan Hosts Successful Blood Donation Drive

Kashipur, 06th September 2024: On Saturday, August 31, IIM Kashipur’s social responsibility cell, Parivartan, in collaboration with Parivartan “The Change” NGO, successfully organized a blood donation drive on campus. The event exemplified the cell’s ongoing commitment to fostering societal well-being through health, environmental, and educational initiatives. With a strong turnout of over 80 participants, including students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff, the event underscored the importance of social responsibility within the IIM Kashipur community.

Parivartan,the social responsibility cell, known for its relentless efforts to improve societal conditions, once again highlighted the power of collaboration by partnering with Parivartan “The Change” NGO for this significant event. The drive was graced by the presence of Dr. Vivek Roy, Chairperson of Student Affairs, and Mr. Nitish Pant from the Student Affairs office, further emphasizing the institution’s dedication to social causes.

The participants, driven by a collective sense of purpose, contributed to the success of the drive, which aimed to raise awareness about the critical need for blood donations and the impact such initiatives can have on society.

The social responsibility cell has always believed in the concept of ‘sharing as giving’ and strives to instill this value within the campus community. Through this blood donation drive, they not only provided a platform for students and staff to contribute but also educated them on the importance of giving back to the community.

Global Experts Converge at IIM Kashipur for Successful International Conference on Marketing Innovation

Mumbai | Dec 19th, 2023: The three-day International Conference on Marketing Innovation (ICMI), hosted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur in collaboration with the Earl V. Snyder Innovation Management Center, Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University (USA), concluded successfully at the IIM Kashipur campus on December 18th, 2023.

The closing ceremony, attended by esteemed guests and participants, marked the culmination of insightful discussions, engaging workshops, and the exchange of groundbreaking ideas in marketing and innovation. Seven participants received Best Paper Awards, one in each of the seven tracks organized during the three-day conference.

The ICMI conference, inaugurated on December 16th, brought together leading experts, scholars, and industry professionals worldwide to explore and discuss cutting-edge strategies, trends, and breakthroughs in marketing and innovation. The conference featured thought-provoking keynotes, interactive workshops, and research presentations from scholars showcasing their innovative ideas.

Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, Director, IIM Kashipur, and Prof. S.P. Raj, Director, Earl V. Snyder Innovation Management Center, Syracuse University (USA)*, and other distinguished guests, graced the valedictory session, expressing their satisfaction with the outcomes of the conference.

During the three-day ICMI conference, various tracks were organized, covering topics such as ‘Sustainability & Marketing’, ‘Consumer Well-being in Emerging Markets’, ‘Product Development & Marketing Strategy’, ‘Technological Innovation in Marketing’, and many others.

Prof. Somnath Chakrabarti, Dean (Academics) and Professor of Marketing, IIM Kashipur, and Conference Chairperson, remarked, “The conference has provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge, fostering future opportunities for collaboration among academicians.
