Tahira’s short film Toffee was selected 6 years back on the same date for MAMI as her debut feature film Sharmjee Ji Ki Beti
Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, a passionate filmmaker and advocate for girls’ and women’s stories, has seen her journey unfold in a remarkable way. Her first short film, “TOFFEE,” premiered at the prestigious MAMI Film Festival in 2017. Now, in 2023, her debut feature film, “SHARMAJEE KI BETI,” is set to have its world premiere at the Mumbai Film Festival.
What makes this journey even more surreal is that both films were announced on the same day, just six years apart. This unique connection makes us even more excited to see another humane story, woven with the themes of humor, vividness, and uniqueness.
