01st July 2024: Dastur Energy, a leading clean energy technology company, has been named winner of the “Decarbonization Excellence Partner” award by the Governing Council of The Global Refining & Petrochemicals Congress (GRPC 2024) & Organizers of the Downstream India Excellence Awards 2024.

The Award recognizes Dastur Energy’s significant contributions towards enabling industrial-scale clean energy transformation by offering deep expertise across the industrial decarbonization value chain including – renewable energy, clean fuels like hydrogen, production process changes, and carbon capture, utilization & sequestration. Dastur Energy’s team of industrial decarbonization, technoeconomic, regulatory, and project risk experts deliver – a cost-effective strategic approach that is designed to deliver significant business impact while enabling clean energy transition and carbon management.

The Award, held in association with the Global Refining & Petrochemicals Congress (GRPC 2024), recognizes industry leaders and organizations that have demonstrated excellence in thought leadership, management, research, technology, innovation, and overall operations in the Indian downstream Oil & Gas industry.

Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management holds 7th convocation

Ahmedabad, 14 February 2024: The Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) on Monday held the convocation for the 2021-23 batch, which comprised two AICTE-approved PGDM programs – Infrastructure Management and Law.

Mr. Vinayak Chatterjee, Founder and Managing Trustee of The Infravision Foundation, was the chief guest for the 7th convocation of AIIM. Dr. Priti G. Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, presided over the ceremony along with Prof. Ravi P. Singh, Director of the Adani Institute of Infrastructure and Provost of Adani University. The event was attended by dignitaries from the world of academia and industry.

A total of 56 students graduated from the PGDM (Infrastructure Management) program and 10 from PGDM (Law). Ms. Burigari Saiprasadini from PGDM (Infrastructure Management) was awarded the Gold Medal for her scholastic academic performance.

The transformation of AIIM into Adani University since 2022 has seen the PGDM (Infrastructure Management) program being converted into MBA (Infrastructure Management). First-year MBA students were felicitated for their academic performances. Mr. Jaivardhan Mittal, Mr. Mayank Mehta, and Mr. Avinash Yadav, all from MBA (IM), were awarded certificates for meritorious academic performance.

Addressing the students, Mr. Vinayak Chatterjee said, “It is important to find a purpose in life that involves reaching for your north star and grasping it. Infrastructure is the biggest career opportunity today with the maximum resources of the nation being invested there. The institute would have embedded in you a set of life skills such as attitude, coupled with optimism and confidence, that
should help you locate your north star.”

Dr. Priti G. Adani said, “Infrastructure is the very backbone of the global economy – and it is no different for the Indian economy. This is an incredibly exciting time to be launching your career. India is the place to be in right now – and you are all set for the opportunity of a lifetime. The skills and knowledge you have acquired here, from project management to strategic thinking, from understanding  omplex legal frameworks to mastering financial and analytical techniques, have prepared you to be the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.”

The 7th convocation marked an exciting milestone in AIIM’s journey toward excellence in infrastructure education and research. The institution looks forward to continuing its legacy under Adani University and preparing future leaders for the ever-growing infrastructure industry.

IEEE International Conference on New Frontiers in Communication, Automation, Management, and Security at Presidency University, Bengaluru

Bengaluru: 31st October 2023: IEEE International Conference on New Frontiers in Communication, Automation, Management, and Security was held on October 27 and 28, 2023 at the Presidency University, Bengaluru. The Conference witnessed an extraordinary gathering of leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars from across the globe. The conference, themed around the exploration of advancements in science, engineering, and technology, lived up to its promise of fostering collaboration, exchange of ideas, and knowledge dissemination.

The Plenary Sessions of the Conference were in tune with the contemporary shifts in our society, exploring the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Technology Trends, Business Intelligence, Ambient Technology, and Communications. Inauguration of the IEEE International Conference at Presidency University

The Inaugural Session of the Conference saw the august presence of Mr. Jasvinder Singh Khoral, Program Director, ISRO, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Padmanand Vasanthasekaran, Vice President, Pepul Tech and Dr. Megha P. Arakeri, Prof. CIS Chair (Bangalore Section) as Guest of Honours.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest Mr. Jasvinder Singh Khoral gave a very informative overview of Satellites and Space Systems. Mr. Khoral traced out the evolution of the Space Program in India and briefed about the space systems including the components of launch segment, space segment, and ground segment. He also explained in detail about the spacecrafts, spacecrafts design drivers, flight dynamics, development trends, and India’s Space Technology’s future plans as well.
