WAVES OTT Partners with CRIS for Integration on RailOne App

WAVES OTT, Prasar Bharati’s fast-growing digital entertainment platform, has announced a major collaboration with the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) to integrate its content library with the RailOne app  the official passenger services platform of Indian Railways. RailOne provides ticket booking, live train running status, onboard services and utility features through a single unified interface used by millions across India.

With this partnership, railway passengers will now have seamless access to a rich and diverse catalogue of WAVES OTT content while travelling. The integration taps into India’s massive rail network, where over 2.3 crore passengers commute daily, significantly amplifying the national footprint of WAVES OTT.

Users on RailOne will be able to explore a wide range of content including:

• Live TV channels

• Akashvani radio stations

• Movies, short films & documentaries

• Devotional and archival programming

• Entertainment in 15+ Indian languages

To further boost awareness, WAVES OTT and CRIS plan to roll out a joint nationwide promotional campaign aimed at enhancing the in-transit infotainment experience for travellers.
