Guwahati, July 24: The flood situation in Assam has intensified, with the death toll rising to six and more than 7.2 lakh people affected across 11 districts following continuous rainfall and rising water levels in major rivers.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have intensified rescue and relief operations in the affected areas.
