Hexaware Introduces Zero Vulnerability as AI Raises the Pressure on Enterprise Remediation
New security offering helps enterprises turn a growing volume of findings into fixes that can be verified in production
LONDON, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hexaware Technologies (NSE: HEXT), an AI-first digital and IT services company, today announced Zero Vulnerability, a cybersecurity offering built for a growing problem facing enterprises. AI is helping vulnerabilities surface faster, while security and engineering teams still have finite capacity to investigate and fix them.
The Verizon 2026 Data Breach Investigations Report found only 26% of critical Known-Exploited Vulnerabilities were fully remediated last year, down from 38%. Median time to fully resolve them rose from 32 to 43 days. 99% of AI-discovered vulnerabilities still remain unremediated. Zero Vulnerability helps organizations sort through such findings, identify which ones pose the greatest risk, get the right teams working on them sooner, and verify that the vulnerability has been removed in production rather than simply marked as closed.
Delivered through Zerovity™, Hexaware’s AI-led delivery layer, the Zero Vulnerability offering combines its cybersecurity expertise, engineering, AI, and remediation operations across all variants of IT systems, including custom applications, SaaS and PaaS environments, third-party software, and operating systems. The remediation operating platform supports the lifecycle from ingestion and validation through prioritization, routing, fixing, verification, and closure. It works with existing security and workflow tools rather than requiring enterprises to replace them.
“AI is making vulnerability discovery dramatically faster, but enterprise remediation capacity remains finite. Zero Vulnerability is about changing that equation, cutting through the noise, identifying what truly matters, accelerating remediation, and proving that critical exposure has actually been removed. Our objective is simple: make risk fall faster than new findings arrive,” said Mohit Vaish, EVP & Business Head – Cybersecurity, Hexaware.
Hexaware’s own evaluation shows why validation is important. Across four detection lanes on production codebases, 334 findings were consolidated, of which 14 were ultimately verified as real. The evaluation also included a developer-validated review of 262 findings and identified a new authentication-bypass weakness that pattern-based rules had missed.
“The work required to remediate a vulnerability depends on where it sits. Custom code, operating systems, third-party products, and SaaS platforms all call for different actions and different ownership. Zero Vulnerability gives teams a consistent way to prioritize and manage that work across the technology estate, while AI helps get each issue to the right action and owner faster,” said Siddharth Dhar, President & Global Head, Digital IT Operations & AI, Hexaware.
Zero Vulnerability is a key pillar of Hexaware’s Zero Friction Enterprise™ and supports its broader approach to continuous exposure reduction, identity-first security, cyber defense, and AI-native security operations.

Cellebrite Genesis for Enterprise Now Generally Available, Regional Availability Expands to More Global Markets
TYSONS CORNER, Va. and PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Cellebrite DI Ltd. (Nasdaq: CLBT), a global leader in AI-powered Digital Investigative and Intelligence solutions for the public and private sectors, today announced that Cellebrite Genesis is expanding to more global markets and is now generally available for enterprise organizations. The expansion builds on a successful early access program and strong momentum following Genesis’ June 2026 public safety launch. Genesis has seen meaningful user growth worldwide and continues to expand internationally, with availability now in Australia and the United Kingdom and is expected to be available to the European Union later this month.
Made generally available for the public sector in June, Genesis is serving a growing mix of national, regional and local agencies around the world, including some of the world’s largest regional and metropolitan police departments along with public safety departments, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors’ offices and correctional facilities of varying sizes.
Purpose-built for a broad range of corporate investigations, Genesis helps enterprise teams move from manual evidence review to AI-assisted investigation that surfaces connections in minutes rather than weeks for internal corporate investigations spanning employee misconduct to financial fraud, M&A due diligence, insider threat and incident response, eDiscovery pre-processing and regulatory and compliance matters.
As Cellebrite customers apply Genesis to active cases, the impact is tangible, accelerating the speed and efficacy of investigations across an array of crime types such as crimes against children, narcotics, human trafficking, homicide and cold cases. The following examples demonstrate how Genesis helps investigators move faster, uncover missed connections and turn digital evidence into action:
- Averting a planned school shooting: Following the arrest of a young student who threatened to commit a school shooting, investigators queried his phone data in Genesis and, within five prompts, identified and apprehended a second student across the country plotting a similar attack.
- Surfacing evidence that helped protect children: Genesis surfaced new information that had been missed in the initial manual review of a suspect’s device, giving investigators the probable cause needed to arrest an accused child predator after a year-long investigation.
- Converting prison conversations into actionable intelligence: A major law enforcement agency used Genesis to analyze three months of phone calls by five prison inmates and identified three minutes of conversations that involved the location of illegal firearms. As a result, the police seized more than 200 guns and arrested three suspects as part of a broader investigation.
- Validating findings in a high-profile corporate investigation: In a case of potential financial wrongdoing tied to a scrapped IPO, it took investigators months to piece together who was involved — running the same data through Genesis surfaced it in minutes, while validating the findings.
- Triaging large video and audio files so a private digital forensics company could quickly isolate 20 video clips showing evidence of a crime, helping their client move the case forward quickly rather than needing to rely on manual review that would have taken days.
- Uncovering a terrorist financing network: After two months of manual review, a regional police agency used Genesis to immediately gain information about a suspected terrorist finance network.
- Validating new leads in a missing person cold case: A small county sheriff’s department received a new tip related to a cold case. Investigators used Genesis to query all the records, and they were able to immediately determine the new information was not relevant to the case; manually running down this lead would have taken weeks.
“Genesis was built on the belief that evidence should move at the speed the investigation demands. In two months, that belief has scaled from early access to a proven solution that is trusted on multiple continents, and now, with enterprise availability, we’re bringing that approach to the organizations who want to protect themselves from fraud, insider threats and data theft,” said Shiven Ramji, CEO of Cellebrite. “It is exciting to hear the impact Genesis is having on investigations and our customer feedback. Genesis is an example of the rapid innovation our customers can expect, ensuring we can deliver on our mission of protecting communities, nations and businesses.”
Innovation within Genesis continues to move forward. The Company also added Deep Investigator, a new capability for mobile extractions. Deep Investigator surfaces data that usually resides in unparsed and other databases, thus going deeper into the content of mobile devices, helping investigators uncover digital evidence that lives in hard-to-reach places, including brand-new applications, proprietary chat platforms and data sources that are not fully understood.
Deep Investigator automatically surfaces additional investigative leads with citations to the underlying evidence while applying Genesis’ built-in guardrails, ensuring responses remain grounded only in the provided evidence. Every query and action is logged with the user’s identity and timestamp, creating a complete audit trail. In the coming months Cellebrite expects to include new features and enhancements that add both expanded agentic capabilities and increased support for additional data sources. These innovations are designed to help investigators work smarter and faster, with an even better user experience.

IBM Connects Its First Modular Cryogenic Systems in Milestone Toward Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing
- New cryogenic quantum fridges designed to link hundreds of quantum chips.
- Cooled to below 15 millikelvin, more than 180 times colder than deep space, the build out marks a step forward in the engineering required for future quantum computers.
- Advances IBM’s quantum roadmap to deliver the world’s first fault-tolerant quantum computer in 2029.
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y., Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced it has successfully joined and cooled down two cryogenic modules into a single environment. The new architecture is designed to scale into the modular, shared, and ultra-cold system required to link hundreds of quantum chips into a more powerful quantum computer capable of solving large problems. Its deployment is a milestone on IBM’s path to delivering IBM Quantum Starling in 2029, which is expected to be the world’s first fault-tolerant quantum computer and will integrate advances across error correction, processor design, decoding, and systems engineering.
Combined, the first two operational modules stand more than 8 feet tall and 8 feet wide, and initial tests demonstrated they can jointly cool down to 4 Kelvin (the temperature of liquid helium) in under 5 days, reaching a final temperature of below 15 millikelvin shortly after. Each module’s vacuum enclosure offers up to 12 times more wiring space than the most widely used IBM quantum systems, enabling more chip-to-chip connections both within and between modules.
IBM’s new box-shaped design allows modules to connect in a tight row and use this larger space to directly link quantum processors with IBM’s “L-coupler” technology. L-couplers connect separate quantum chips together to share information, communicate, and operate as part of a larger quantum computer.
By 2027, IBM’s quantum roadmap plans to use L-couplers to link multiple processors into a larger quantum computer with at least 1,000 programmable qubits, which are qubits that can be directly used to perform computations. Towards this goal, IBM will install IBM Quantum Nighthawk processors into the cryogenic modules later this year to expand operational performance testing. At the time Starling is delivered, IBM plans for each cryogenic module to house thousands of qubits.
IBM’s plans for Starling were introduced last year with a new error correction code that dramatically reduces the physical resources required for fault tolerance. Since then, the company’s progression has remained on course, including the demonstration of core hardware components and breakthroughs in efficient error-correction decoding.
“Bringing fault-tolerant quantum computers to industries depends on several fundamental advances,” said Jay Gambetta, Director of IBM Research and IBM Fellow. “The successful connection and operation of these cryogenic modules signals a leap forward in that direction and will accelerate our progress alongside continued innovation in quantum hardware, software, and algorithms.”
IBM expects its scalable cryogenic modules to help speed its pace of innovation. For example, three essential components of IBM Quantum System Two’s environment are built into the new architecture, but now in a way that allows each part to be independently tested, improved, and rapidly iterated.
The delivery of these new cryogenic quantum modules is further evidence that IBM is systematically delivering against its quantum roadmap, solving another one of the major hurdles required to accelerate its path to fault-tolerant quantum computing.

Laser-Guided Renal Artery Angioplasty Successfully Performed on a 60-Year Old Male Patient at Manipal Hospital Dhakuria
KOLKATA, India, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A 60-year-old male patient from Kolkata suffering from uncontrolled hypertension and hypertensive urgency, with blood pressure recorded at 220/120 mmHg despite multiple medications, underwent laser-guided renal artery angioplasty under the expertise of Dr Soumya Kanti Dutta, Interventional Cardiologist, Manipal Hospital Dhakuria.

The patient was admitted with severe headache, chest discomfort, vomiting, blurring of vision, vertigo, and semi-consciousness. A routine coronary angiography revealed coronary artery disease, and to investigate secondary causes of hypertension, renal angiography was conducted. This revealed a 100% thrombotic occlusion of the left renal artery. Conventional balloon angioplasty was not feasible due to the complete blockage. Therefore, the laser guided angioplasty was opted which would in the long run reduce the chances of repeated blockage and also would ensure faster recovery and less pain.
Dr Soumya Kanti Dutta revealed, “We decided to perform a laser-guided renal artery angioplasty. The laser technology successfully dissolved the clot, enabling placement of a stent at the renal artery ostium. This restored normal blood flow to the left kidney, resulting in improved kidney function, resumption of normal urination, and stabilization of blood pressure. “This innovative use of laser technology represents a major advancement in interventional cardiology and nephrology. Protecting kidney function is vital in managing complex cardiovascular cases, and this breakthrough offers new hope for patients with severe renal artery occlusion,” said Dr Dutta.
The patient is now stable and is doing well.

Exicom Becomes the First Company in India to Manufacture Liquid-Cooled Power Modules for EV Chargers
HYDERABAD, India, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Exicom Tele-Systems Limited (BSE: 544133) (NSE: EXICOM), one of India’s leading EV charging and Critical Power companies, today announced the start of manufacturing for advanced liquid-cooled AC and DC power modules at its Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility, making it the first company in India to produce this class of liquid-cooled power electronics for global markets.
This launch strengthens Exicom’s push to make India a global base for technology-forward manufacturing. It also marks an important step in Exicom’s long-term product roadmap, broadening the canvas for high-value exports and further strengthening the company’s differentiation as a design-led manufacturer.
Heat is the quiet enemy of EV charging. Reliability studies attribute nearly 60% of power electronics failures to thermal stress, with every 10°-15°C rise in temperatures doubling components’ failure rate. Liquid cooling technology solves this problem at the source. Liquid coolant absorbs and transfers heat far more effectively and can hold internal temperatures roughly 10°C lower than air-cooled systems.
Building on Tritium’s in-house liquid-cooled capability, this technology brings a globally proven high-power charging architecture to Indian manufacturing ahead of the curve. This class of liquid cooled modules have been refined across some of the toughest charging environments in the world and pack more power into a compact footprint, run continuously at high loads and cost less to operate over their lifetime. Moreover, their fully sealed design keeps out dust, moisture and salt air, directly protecting against the everyday conditions that shorten charger life in the field.
Initial production of these modules will primarily serve North America and Europe, supporting Tritium’s DC charger portfolio including TRI-FLEX™ ultra-fast DC chargers and DC-FLEX™ charging systems. Subsequent phases will help bring this globally proven charging technology closer to Exicom’s customers including Charge Point Operators, Fleets and OEMs with Tritium’s range of DC fast chargers, which are now being deployed in India. Over time, liquid-cooled architecture will be designed into Exicom’s flagship Harmony DC chargers, opening a new line of high-value power electronics exports from India.
Commenting on the development, Anant Nahata, CEO and Managing Director, Exicom, said: “Anyone who has stood next to a fast charger on a 45-degree afternoon knows what heat does to electronics. EV Charging is getting faster with chargers running more hours a day, and customers expect them to work every season and at every site. Globally, liquid cooling has become the architecture of choice for high-power charging. We are bringing this technology to India. Local manufacturing matters because we now own more of that technology ourselves. We can engineer it, improve it and adapt it faster, for our customers here and across the world.”
Manufacturing liquid-cooled modules demands precision. Exicom’s recently inaugurated Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility, designed with advanced automation, digital traceability and specialised testing will be the base for manufacturing these modules for domestic and international markets. This development also deepens Exicom’s integration with Tritium, the global DC fast charging company it acquired in 2024, with technology and manufacturing synergies now flowing in and working as one system to build advanced EV charging technology in India and the world.
About Exicom
Exicom is one of India’s leading EV charging and Critical Power solutions manufacturers, present across the entire EV charger value chain with a host of products across both AC and DC charger segments and spearheading India’s transition to sustainable transportation while ensuring the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure. CHANDIGARH, India, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — A team of Chandigarh University researchers has developed a mobile ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’, designed to bring multiple vehicle maintenance services including vehicle diagnostics, engine and brake oil replacement, wheel alignment, hydraulic lifting and washing to the customer’s doorstep, thus reducing the inconvenience of queuing up at the service centres for long hours for service of the vehicle.
Chandigarh University researchers including Prof (Dr) Payal Patial, Associate Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering (currently deputed in CU’s University Centre for Research and Development) along with two students Suraj Rana and Supreet Bhatnagar have been granted a patent for this invention titled ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ in May 2026 by the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (O/o CGPDTM) which is responsible for administering the Intellectual Property Laws in India.
Sharing details, Prof (Dr) Payal Patial said, “By carrying out a series of maintenance procedures at the user’s doorstep for servicing the vehicle of the user, ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ addresses the growing demand for convenient, time-efficient, and accessible vehicle maintenance services.”
“Instead of requiring vehicle owners to visit conventional service centres and wait in long queues for hours, this system brings essential maintenance and diagnostic services directly to the user’s doorstep, thereby saving time and improving convenience. The ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ has been designed to not only provide convenience to vehicle owners but also promote preventive maintenance and improving vehicle reliability.”
“This concept also supports modern on-demand service models. Our ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ has potential applications in smart mobility ecosystems as it integrates multiple automotive servicing operations into a single mobile platform that recreates the functionality of a conventional service station at the customer’s doorstep. Unlike existing mobile service units that offer only basic maintenance, this system provides comprehensive servicing, diagnostics, wheel alignment, hydraulic lifting, and rescue capabilities in one integrated vehicle.”
“The ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ will consist of a movable unit which will serve like an on-the-go vehicle service station which can be easily moved from one place to another for providing doorstep vehicle maintenance service to customer. This ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ has been designed for servicing a wide range of passenger vehicles. Its integrated Hydraulic lifting mechanism will help in safe inspection and maintenance. Its Hydraulic locking system will ensure operational safety. Besides an onboard wheel alignment system, engine oil, brake oil, air filter, and oil filter replacement facilities, this mobile all-in-one ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ will have computerized vehicle diagnostics for real-time fault detection and preventive maintenance. Its adjustable body-on-frame structure will accommodate different vehicle sizes. In addition, this system also includes dust-free washing facility and roadside rescue or towing functionality with heavy-duty towing equipment for stranded vehicles.”
“Besides doorstep vehicle servicing, this ‘Vehicle Maintenance System’ will also be useful for preventive maintenance of passenger vehicles, fleet maintenance services, emergency roadside assistance, rural and remote automotive service delivery as well as corporate and institutional vehicle maintenance,” she concluded.
