India’s Office Market Gets Major Boost as GCCs Drive Future Demand

New Delhi, July 24: Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are expected to emerge as a major driver of India’s commercial real estate growth, accounting for up to 50% of the country’s office space demand by 2027, according to a recent industry report.

The growing expansion of multinational companies in India is fueling demand for high-quality office spaces, advanced infrastructure, and technology-enabled workplaces across major business hubs including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR.

The report highlights that GCCs are increasingly evolving beyond traditional back-office operations, with companies setting up advanced centres focused on research and development, artificial intelligence, engineering, digital transformation, and innovation.

Divine Homecoming: Lakhs Witness Lord Jagannath’s Bahuda Yatra in Puri

Bahuda Yatra Today: Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra Begin Sacred Return Journey to Srimandir

Divine Homecoming: Lakhs Witness Lord Jagannath’s Bahuda Yatra in Puri

Puri, July 24 (UDN): The holy city of Puri is witnessing a grand spiritual gathering today as the sacred Bahuda Yatra, the return journey of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, is being observed with devotion and traditional rituals.

After spending nine days at the Gundicha Temple, the three deities are returning to the Srimandir in a ceremonial procession, marking the concluding phase of the world-famous Rath Yatra festival.

The atmosphere in Puri has turned divine with the chants of “Jai Jagannath”, the sound of conch shells, drums, and devotional music filling the air. Thousands of devotees have gathered along the Grand Road (Bada Danda) to witness the return of the revered deities and participate in the centuries-old tradition.

The rituals began with the Pahandi Bije, during which the deities were ceremonially brought from the Gundicha Temple to their respective chariots by the servitors. Lord Jagannath is seated on Nandighosha, Lord Balabhadra on Taladhwaja, and Devi Subhadra on Darpadalana.

One of the most significant rituals of the day is the Chhera Pahanra, where the Gajapati Maharaja of Puri performs the symbolic sweeping of the chariots with a golden broom. The ritual represents humility, equality, and the belief that everyone is equal before the Lord.

During the return journey, the chariots make a traditional stop at the Mausi Maa Temple, where Lord Jagannath is offered the famous Poda Pitha, a special delicacy considered a beloved offering to the deity.

The Bahuda Yatra is not only a religious ceremony but also a celebration of faith, unity, devotion, and the timeless bond between the Lord and His devotees. The centuries-old tradition continues to attract devotees from across India and around the world.

Jai Jagannath.

Mumbai, July 24: Aludecor Lamination Pvt. Ltd, a façade product manufacturer which is known for trendsetting innovations in the industry, utilized its 24th foundation day to launch a new series and the second phase of its industry-first Test Nahi Toh Trust Nahi TVC campaign.

Craquelure Inspired Surfaces & New Campaign Launch Dominate Aludecor’s 24th Foundation Day

The company has introduced another “never-seen-before” reengineered aluminium composite panel surface that interprets one of nature’s wonders. This time it was the craquelures of stones formed by geological aging. Christened Stonic, this series is positioned by the company through its catalogue as revealing “the poetry of ageing through delicate craquelure and layered depth.” The series is said to draw inspiration from the stone heritage of Harappan and Mohejo-daro, transforming an ancient legacy into a contemporary surface.

Available in seven shades, the series has been developed using what the company describes as its proprietary Spray Fusion technology. Stonic is expected to find applications across commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed use spaces, including facades, feature walls, entranceways, soffits, balcony fascia and ceilings.

Having created a flutter by being the first in the ACP industry to launch a TVC campaign – Test Nahi Toh Trust Nahi – in the beginning of the year, Aludecor used the foundation day occasion to launch an extension of the campaign. Called The Fikar-Free ACP, the campaign is informed by the most practical pain points of contractors and architects, hammering home that by imbibing the culture of using tested ACP one can be free of stress or fikar. The campaign is anchored by a surreal Fikar-Meter, the readings of which are influenced by real-world stress scenarios in fabrication. A series of quirky videos and on-ground activations have been rolled out.
