Mars Collaborates with Iconic Tinkle Comics to Promote Compassion for Pets and Pet-Nutrition Basics on Children’s Day
Hyderabad| 17 November 2025: This Children’s Day, Mars has partnered with Tinkle Comics, one of India’s most iconic and engaging children’s magazines, to spark conversations among young readers about compassion, empathy, and the basics of responsible pet parenting. The collaboration aligns with Mars’ Young Angels programme for kids and the brand’s broader mission to create a Better World for Pets.

For over four decades, Tinkle has entertained and educated children through characters that blend humor and heart. Known for making learning relatable, it offers a trusted way for kids to explore big ideas in simple, meaningful ways. In this collaboration, Mars brings together Tinkle’s storytelling strength with its scientific understanding of pet care to help children learn how to feed their pets responsibly.
In the special-edition story, beloved character Shambu takes on a new adventure while caring for his niece, Sia. What begins as a light-hearted afternoon becomes a fun lesson on why pets need food specially made for them and how right nutrition is essential for showing them love and care. The story gently introduces young readers to concepts like complete and balanced diets, safe interaction with pets and everyday empathy, all through storytelling that children naturally connect with.
To bring these lessons to life, Mars, in partnership with STRAW India (Stray Relief and Animal Welfare), conducted interactive storytelling and painting workshops with students of Jyothi Kendriya Vidyalaya School in Bengaluru. The sessions encouraged children to express compassion through art while learning how to interact safely with community animals. A similar engagement was held for children of Mars associates in Hyderabad, creating a shared platform for families to discuss kindness, pet care, and the importance of balanced nutrition for pets.
Vasanthi Kumar, Co-founder & Managing Trustee, STRAW India, added, “Our collaboration with Mars on Tinkle partnership reflects our shared belief that compassion and awareness must start young. Through storytelling and creative workshops, we’re helping children build empathy for animals and understand the basics of pet nutrition.”
This collaboration between Mars and Tinkle represents a blend of education, empathy, and science, using storytelling as a bridge to nurture responsible, kind, and informed pet lovers of tomorrow.

CleanStart Launches Industry’s Most Comprehensive SBOM Analyzer to Strengthen Container Security
India, 15th November, 2025: CleanStart, a global leader in hardened and compliance-ready container images, has announced the worldwide launch of its SBOM Analyzer, an advanced solution that generates complete, CERT-In and CISA-compliant Software Bills of Materials (SBOMs) for container images. The tool delivers deep visibility into software components and dependencies, enabling organizations to strengthen software supply chain security before deployment.
Integrated directly into the CleanStart platform, the SBOM Analyzer offers enhanced component discovery, comprehensive dependency mapping, and automated data upkeep as part of the company’s continuous 24-hour image refresh cycle.
“With MeitY and CERT-In emphasizing the importance of robust software transparency frameworks under the latest Technical Guidelines on SBOM, QBOM, CBOM, AIBOM, and HBOM – Version 2.0, enterprises in India are realizing the need for accurate and verifiable SBOMs,” said Vijendra Katiyar, Co-founder & Chief Revenue Officer, CleanStart. “Our Analyzer embeds compliance directly at the image level, helping developers and CISOs meet national and global standards without disrupting development workflows.”

Strengthening this foundation further, CleanStart has introduced an AI-SBOM module that examines large language model components within enterprise AI applications, identifying dependencies and hidden vulnerabilities often missed by traditional scanners.
By automatically mapping every component within container images and updating them continuously, CleanStart ensures each SBOM is accurate, verifiable, and consistently up to date.

Dove x Reebok Come Together to Celebrate the ‘Reborn Stronger’ Campaign
India, 15th November, 2025: Dove has stood for real beauty and care over the years and Reebok has celebrated strength, not just the kind you build in the gym, but the kind that carries you through life. This season, Dove joins hands with Reebok to bring the collective spirit to life through ‘Reborn in My Kicks’, a first-of-its-kind collaboration that tells powerful stories of women who’ve rebuilt, rediscovered and come back stronger than ever.

At its heart, ‘Reborn in My Kicks’ is an ode to resilience, to the strength it takes to rebuild and to the beauty that comes from that transformation. The collection draws inspiration from Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold. Co-created by Dove and Reebok, each sneaker features design details that echo this philosophy: cracks and seams reimagined in metallic tones, lines that symbolise renewal, and textures that reflect how every scar tells a story.
Sairam Subramanian, Vice President Hair Care, Hindustan Unilever Limited, added,
“Reborn Stronger is more than a campaign; it’s a movement that celebrates the beauty of rebuilding, in hair, in life, and in spirit. Sports is filled with stories of resilience, where individuals overcome adversity and are reborn stronger. Through our collaboration with Reebok, we are taking this philosophy beyond care into culture, championing women who turn every setback into strength. This partnership perfectly mirrors Dove’s own rebirth as a brand rooted in science, care, and empowerment.”
Talking about the partnership, Arjun Ramamoorthy, Brand Head, Reebok India, said,
“At Reebok, we’ve always believed that strength isn’t defined by how hard you can push but by how many times you rise after being knocked down. Reborn in My Kicks is our celebration of that spirit of women who rebuild themselves with courage and grace. Partnering with Dove allows us to take this belief beyond sport and into culture, reminding everyone that resilience is beautiful, and every mark of struggle is also a mark of strength.”
Available online and in select Reebok stores across Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi. They also include an immersive Kintsugi workshop experience in stores, allowing customers to explore the art form that inspired the design and its deeper message of rebuilding with strength and purpose.
Through ‘Reborn in My Kicks’, Reebok reaffirms its belief that sport is more than performance- it’s a metaphor for life. Every fall, every setback, every scar becomes part of the story that makes us who we are. This collaboration is a celebration of that journey – of women who rise, rebuild, and redefine what it means to be Reborn Stronger.

VISION 2020 Hosts National Summit on Diabetic Retinopathy; Unveils New Guidelines
India 15th November, 2025:- VISION 2020: The Right to Sight India, announced a comprehensive two-stage program culminating in the National Summit on Diabetic Retinopathy, observed on World Diabetes Day. The key highlight of the summit was to launch the updated, comprehensive guidelines on Management of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) in India, and foster a nationwide effort to combat diabetes-related vision loss, a rapidly escalating public health challenge in India.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a rapidly escalating public health challenge in India, with over 101 million people currently living with the condition and an additional 21.5 million in the pre-diabetic stage. The number is projected to rise to 109 million by 2035. One of the most serious and sight-threatening complications of diabetes is Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), a microvascular condition affecting the retina and a leading cause of vision loss among working-age adults.
In India, epidemiological data show that DR affects approximately 18% of urban and 10.4% of rural populations with diabetes meaning nearly one in five urban diabetics is at risk of vision impairment. While early detection and timely intervention can prevent blindness in most cases, awareness levels remain low, not only among patients but also among some healthcare practitioners.
With the rising burden of diabetes and its related complications, strengthening awareness, promoting early screening, and updating management guidelines are crucial to reducing the preventable impact of diabetic retinopathy across the country.
As part of this comprehensive two-stage program, two high-level consultations were organized: the World Retina Day Consultation, focused on drafting the new national guidelines, and the World Diabetes Day National Summit, dedicated to policy engagement and public awareness through activities such as an awareness rally and walkathon to encourage regular diabetic screening.
The prestigious one-day National Summit on Diabetic Retinopathy, held on November 14, 2025, in New Delhi, brought together key stakeholders from across sectors including representatives from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, non-governmental organizations, industry leaders, and the medical community to drive collaborative action on preventing vision loss caused by diabetic retinopathy.
Distinguished speakers and experts in attendance included Dr. Rajendra P. Joshi, Deputy Director General, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India; Dr. V.K. Paul, Member, NITI Aayog; Prof. Praveen Vashist, Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, Dr. J.S. Titiyal, President Elect, AIOS; Dr. Manisha Agarwal, Ophthalmologist/Eye Surgeon, Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Delhi; Dr. Ranjana Mittal, Senior Consultant – Ophthalmology, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajesh Saini, President, VISION 2020, India, said, “At VISION 2020: The Right to Sight India, our mission has always been to eliminate avoidable blindness and ensure equitable access to quality eye care across the country. The launch of the updated Diabetic Retinopathy guidelines, in collaboration with is a significant stride towards that goal. Diabetic Retinopathy is a growing public health concern, silently threatening the vision of millions. These new guidelines rooted in expert consensus and enriched with the latest diagnostic and management protocols—will empower healthcare providers to detect and intervene earlier, especially in underserved communities. By updating our 2015 DR Manual and aligning it with current best practices, we aim to drive nationwide awareness, strengthen clinical capacity, and reinforce the message that vision loss from diabetes is preventable with timely action.”
The event focused on policy integration strategies to promote early screening and timely intervention for diabetic retinopathy (DR), a leading cause of preventable vision loss among working-age adults. The discussions reflected the incorporation of advanced global standards and technological innovations in screening and treatment, aimed at enhancing early detection and management practices nationwide. This renewed focus underscores a commitment to patient-centric care and collaborative action in addressing the growing burden of diabetes-related eye diseases. Experts at the event emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, timely treatment, and multi-sector partnerships to achieve long-term improvements in eye health outcomes.
Dr. Praveen Vashist, Secretary, VISION 2020, India, stated, “We believe that innovation in healthcare thrives on meaningful collaboration. The updated Diabetic Retinopathy guidelines are a testament to what’s possible when public health institutions, government bodies, and industry leaders like India come together with a shared vision. This partnership ensures that these guidelines are not just clinical documents they are catalysts for systemic change. By aligning with national health priorities and integrating into existing care pathways, we aim to translate these recommendations into real-world impact, especially for vulnerable and underserved populations. Our goal is to ensure that every individual at risk of vision loss due to diabetes has access to timely screening, diagnosis, and care—regardless of geography or socioeconomic status.”
Dr. Monika Puri, Chief Commercial Officer, Roche Products (India) Pvt. Ltd. shared, “Diabetic retinopathy is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness, yet many people remain unaware that timely eye check-ups can save their vision. On World Diabetes Day, I urge everyone living with diabetes to get a simple annual retina screening. Early detection and treatment can protect sight and improve quality of life. Together, we can reduce avoidable vision loss and ensure that every person with diabetes receives the eye care they deserve.”

5 Unique Ways to Relive Your Childhood This Children’s Day
India, 15th November, 2025: Every year, Children’s Day reminds us of simpler times – of scraped knees, sticky fingers, and endless laughter. But who says it’s only for the little ones? This year, take a step back in time. Relive those golden moments, rediscover forgotten joys, and maybe share a few of your childhood favourites with your own kids.
Here are five simple, heartwarming ways to bring back magic.
1. Rewind to Playground Fun
Before “10,000 steps a day,” there was “Lagori,” “Kho-Kho,” and “Hide & Seek.” This Children’s Day, swap your fitness tracker for some real outdoor fun. Grab your friends or family, head to the nearest park, and play like no one’s watching.
2. Pack a Nostalgic Picnic
Plan an afternoon escape that feels like a page from your school days. Pack up sandwiches in butter paper, fruity drinks, and homemade sweets. Head to the park, spread out a mat, and share stories of school trips and stolen lunch breaks. For your kids, it’s a picnic; for you, it’s a time capsule.
3. Recreate a Classic Tiffin Moment
The best part of school was always opening that tiffin box – the excitement of guessing what Mom had packed that day and the way everyone’s lunch suddenly looked better than their own. Those were simpler days, full of homemade treats that could light up an entire classroom, from jam-smeared sandwiches and crispy bhakarwadi to soft rotis rolled with sugar or ghee.
This Children’s Day, relive that warmth with Noice’s range of nostalgic bites, crunchy chikkis, peanut butter bites, rice crispy chocolate bars, Mango Jam slices and Mango juice with coco jelly- All the comfort, all the love, now just an Instamart order away, ready to arrive in minutes.
4. Movie Marathon, the 2000s Way
End the night (or recover from it) with a movie binge that hits right in the feels- Home Alone, Koi Mil Gaya, Harry Potter, Kung Fu Panda, Stuart Little. Set up cozy blankets, pour a glass of fruity juice, and laugh at the same jokes that once had you rolling on the floor.
5. Revive a Forgotten Hobby
Draw, doodle, or make paper boats – whatever once made hours fly by. These simple acts reconnect you to a time when joy didn’t need a reason. This Children’s Day, let yourself play again – not for nostalgia’s sake, but to remember how light life can feel when you just let go.
Because your inner child never really grew up – they’ve just been waiting for a day like this. A day to pause, play, and pass on the joy that once made your world brighter. This Children’s Day, make space for a little mischief and a lot of heart.

CK Kumaravel Family’s Next Gen Launches NXTFACE, India’s First AI-Driven Gen Z Skincare Brand
Chennai, November 14, 2025: India’s Gen Z population is reshaping how beauty, identity, and technology intersect. Yet, while this generation contributes nearly 40 per cent of online beauty and personal-care purchases, there remains a significant gap in skincare designed around their biology, behaviour, and lifestyle. NXTFACE, India’s first AI-driven Gen Z skincare brand, officially launched today to empower the ‘second-face’ transition from adolescence to young adulthood. This defining stage in every young person’s life marks not just a physical change, but also a transformation in confidence, identity and self-expression.
Founded by Ms Dhamyanthi Kumaravel, a young second-generation entrepreneur from the family behind Naturals, India’s leading salon chain, NXTFACE marks the next chapter in India’s beauty revolution, driven by innovation and intelligence. Having personally experienced the post-teenage shift in her own skin, Dhamyanthi spent nearly two years travelling across countries, meeting scientists, and studying how hormones, stress, and environment affect young skin.

On returning to India, she partnered with Connell R&D, a global leader with proven experience in developing state-of-the-art formulations backed by years of research and testing. This collaboration allows NXTFACE to create skincare that is suitable for Gen Z skin and smarter in performance, which is tailored specifically for Indian skin tones and climate.
Commenting on this launch, Ms Dhamyanthi Kumaravel, Founder-CEO of NXTFACE said, “When I came back, I told my parents that the future of beauty won’t come from experience alone. It has to come from intelligence and an understanding of Gen Z. Our generation doesn’t need what our parents used; we need something that understands our transforming skin. NXTFACE does exactly that. It talks about change, not just glow or radiance. Your skin goes through another transformation as you step into young adulthood, and that’s your second face. NXTFACE was created to help our generation understand that phase, not fear it.”
NXTFACE also introduces India’s first real-time, camera-activated AI skincare interface, where users can simply look into their screen to receive instant, unbiased skin insights along with lifestyle recommendations. Built on AI, ML, and LLM technology, this proprietary system analyses visual data instead of prompts or uploads, creating a seamless and human-like experience of understanding the skin.
Commenting on technology adoption, she added, “Our AI doesn’t rate beauty, it explains biology. It helps users see their skin clearly, not filtered, not judged, but understood. I’m excited about what AI can do. It’s like a supreme human brain that can analyse millions of data points in minutes to deliver unbiased and authentic information. This is incredibly important for consumers today, and that’s why I decided to make AI the heart of our innovation. By leveraging AI across our R&D and digital platforms, we stay laser-focused on understanding Gen Z’s evolving needs across a country as diverse as India, where every region brings its own skin tones, lifestyles, and climates.”
Adding to this, she also said, “NXTFACE harnesses advanced small molecule technology to enable deeper penetration and faster absorption, ensuring every ingredient performs at its highest potential. Our formulations are proactive, adaptive, and transformative — designed not just to treat today’s skin, but to prepare it for tomorrow. Select products feature Exosomes, celebrated for their exceptional cell-repair and rejuvenation properties, bringing cutting-edge biotechnology into the masstige skincare space. By merging innovation with accessibility, NXTFACE delivers next-generation skincare that evolves with your lifestyle — intelligent, results-driven, and made for skin that never settles. And with today’s launch, we’re not just introducing a brand—we’re unveiling a vision. We aim to scale NXTFACE to ₹500 crore in revenue by 2030, driven by innovation, intelligence and a deep understanding of Gen Z.”
The launch range includes serums, sunscreens (gels, sprays, and sticks), lip balms, day creams, sleeping masks, and face washes, priced at an accessible average of ₹550, with all products being vegan, cruelty-free, and toxin-free.
Commenting on her association, Ms Kayadu Lohar, Actor and Brand Ambassador, NXTFACE said, “I connected with NXTFACE instantly because it speaks to what we all experience – change. It’s not about hiding it or fighting it, but embracing it with confidence. That’s what makes it more than just skincare. It’s self-understanding.”
NXTFACE also sets a new benchmark in distribution strategy, combining retail, technology, and experience in one ecosystem. The brand will be available across modern trade, general trade, and pharmacy stores, leading e-commerce platforms, and its AI-powered official website. Additionally, it will debut through over 800 Naturals Salons, offering direct consumer trials, making NXTFACE one of India’s first skincare brands to exist simultaneously across store, salon, and screen.
