1,000 Schools to Adopt Skill-Based Learning with NatureNurture

NatureNurture to Partner with 1,000 Schools to Upgrade K-12 Curriculum with Skill-Based Learning

New Delhi, 15th July 2025- In a bid to address the growing gap between what children learn in school and the skills they need in real life, NatureNurture, a New Delhi–based education consultancy, has announced plans to partner with 1,000 K–12 schools across CBSE, ICSE, IB, and Cambridge boards to help upgrade their curricula. Instead of replacing the system, NatureNurture works with schools as a curriculum partner where they redesign textbooks, lesson plans, classroom activities, and teacher training modules that connect academic learning with real-life skills, social development, and problem-solving abilities.
The partnerships will focus on helping schools implement an integrated learning framework where academic subjects are connected with real-life application. Through its research-based, transdisciplinary curriculum and experiential learning resources, NatureNurture helps schools create classroom environments that prioritize curiosity, communication, creativity, and collaboration alongside traditional academics. The company currently works with over 300 schools across India and the Middle East and plans to scale this impact through regional partnerships, experience centers, and government collaborations.
In addition to its school partnerships, NatureNurture has also now entered the B2C segment with its Hands-On Learning Toolkits, a set of guided activities and practical modules designed for children in Grades 3–8. These kits, created for home use, encourage critical thinking and creativity while reinforcing what’s taught in school. They also help parents become more active participants in their child’s learning, bridging the classroom-home divide.
Mrs. Pooja Agarwal, Founder, NatureNurture, said, “There’s an urgent need to rethink how we approach education in India. Most schools are limited by outdated curricula that don’t align with real-world needs. Through NatureNurture, our goal is to support 1000 schools in building a skill-integrated, future-aligned curriculum. With our research-based modules and practical learning resources, we aim to help schools deliver learning that prepares children beyond academics. Our B2C expansion allows us to take this impact further empowering parents and learners directly at home with tools that continue the learning journey beyond the classroom.”.
Akshal Agarwal, Co-Founder, said, “Our B2C model is a natural extension of our work in schools. With most children missing out on practical learning at home, these toolkits bring essential life skills directly to them. This shift allows us to scale faster, reach more learners, and ensure that education is not limited to school hours. We’re helping build an ecosystem where parents, too, become active participants in shaping their child’s learning experience.”
NatureNurture’s curriculum model is aligned with the NEP 2020 vision and has been tested in diverse school environments from private schools in metro cities to progressive institutions in Tier II and III towns. The company also offers digital integration, teacher training workshops, and support in transitioning to thematic, skill-based learning.
NatureNurture is working across India and the Middle East, reaching leading institutions in Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Srinagar, Raipur, Goa, and many more. The company has also opened a flagship experience centre in New Delhi and was among the first education providers to transition schools to a virtual model in March 2020. Recognized for its curriculum innovations and Stanford SEED participation, NatureNurture is known for setting a high bar in client satisfaction and pedagogical depth.

Comment from the award recipient in 2023:

Professor Laurie Heller, Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, U.S.)

“With support from Sony, my colleagues and I are investigating ways to use machine learning and large language models to generate perceptually better interpolation between environmental sounds. This has relevance for creative arts, sound designers, and the scientific study of sound categories. We have also explored vision-and-language models for sound categorization. Sony has offered their expertise and resources to support our research. With the support of Sony, we hope to advance generative sound technology that can be applied in a multitude of ways.”

Comment from the award recipient in 2022 and 2023:

Professor Alan Marshall, University of Liverpool (Liverpool, U.K.)

“The past two Sony Research Award Program collaborations have proven to be transformative for my group’s research. The opportunity has allowed our group to develop and investigate new approaches to multi-sensory immersion, including the olfactory sensory channel as well as more traditional haptic, aural, and visual channels. More importantly, the close relationships formed with Sony researchers have opened up new thoughts and possibilities. These collaborations have accelerated our research into how to implement and measure levels of immersion and presence in multi-sensory environments, as will be encountered in the next generation metaverse.”

Empower Youths: Mohit Kamboj feels start-up system, entrepreneurship make them future ready

Mohit Kamboj is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist dedicated to progress, unity, and transformative change across India

India stands on the cusp of a transformative era, an economic and social renaissance driven by the unmatched energy of its youth. With over 65% of the population under the age of 35, India is not just a young nation, but a pulsating powerhouse of ambition, innovation and aspiration. In this context, entrepreneurship must be seen not merely as a means of economic development, but as a national mission, an instrument of empowerment, self-reliance and inclusive growth.

The Rise of India’s Start-Up Ecosystem

India’s journey from the periphery to the forefront of the global innovation map has been nothing short of extraordinary. Today, we are the world’s third-largest start-up ecosystem, and cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune have emerged as vibrant centres of innovation. What’s more encouraging is the entrepreneurial spark igniting in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, from Indore to Guwahati, where young Indians are daring to think big and build local solutions for local and global challenges.

But the real opportunity lies beyond the urban bubble. To truly unlock the potential of India’s demographic dividend, we must democratize entrepreneurship ensuring it is accessible not just to the urban educated elite, but also to youth in rural and underserved communities. The goal must be to make innovation a grassroots movement.

Entrepreneurship: The New Freedom Struggle

Today’s young entrepreneurs are not just building businesses; they are redefining what freedom means. This is a new-age freedom movement, one that seeks economic independence, self-expression, and societal impact. Much like our forebears who fought for political liberty, India’s youth are carving pathways to economic sovereignty by creating jobs, not just seeking them, and by developing indigenous solutions to uniquely Indian problems.

What makes entrepreneurship truly powerful is that it does not require a family legacy or elite education. It requires vision, resilience and an enabling ecosystem. That’s where government, industry, academia, and civil society must work in unison.

Building the Foundation: Education and Policy Reforms

For entrepreneurship to thrive, it must be deeply embedded into the educational framework. We need to move beyond rote learning to foster critical thinking, creativity and financial literacy. Schools and colleges should nurture risk-taking and entrepreneurial problem-solving as core life skills.

Government initiatives like Startup India, Atal Innovation Mission, and Skill India have laid a robust foundation. The next frontier is to extend these programs into rural India and marginalized communities to discover the next unicorn founder in a village, not just in a metro.

On the policy front, simplifying tax norms, streamlining business approvals, and expanding access to seed funding and incubators will be crucial. Entrepreneurs need a springboard, not a quagmire of red tape.

Celebrating the Risk-Takers

India must shift its cultural mindset, from applauding only academic rank-holders to celebrating those who take risks and solve real-world problems. Innovation demands courage. Failure is not a stigma, it is a stepping stone. We must normalise setbacks and nurture resilience in our youth.

What excites me most is how youth-led start-ups are addressing India’s most pressing challenges, be it in affordable healthcare, agriculture technology, digital skilling, financial inclusion or waste management. These ventures are not just commercial endeavours, they are social revolutions in motion.

A National Imperative

If India’s demographic dividend is to become its greatest asset, we must empower our young people with the right tools, opportunities, and mindset to lead from the front. Entrepreneurship is no longer a luxury, it is a necessity for sustainable, inclusive growth.

As someone who has built from the ground up, I can say with conviction that our real investment must be in people. In their potential, their dreams and their ability to transform India from within. Let us imagine and build an India where every young individual, from Nagpur to Nandurbar, from Varanasi to Visakhapatnam, has not just the aspiration, but also the access to dream, create and lead.

OnePlus’ new software update brings OnePlus AI tools to the 13 Series

July 15, 2025 – Global technology brand OnePlus, today began the rollout of Plus Mind, its new personal intelligence tool, for OnePlus 13 Series users around the world. Plus Mind, an AI tool designed to help users handle the tidal wave of content they have to deal with every day, ensures that nothing is ever forgotten. This AI tool makes storing, organisation of content and searching for fragmented information easier than ever with the power of OnePlus AI. It is available for free as part of the latest software update for OnePlus 13 Series which begins its rollout today and will available on every OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R phone over the coming weeks.

“OnePlus AI is all about helping you work smart and play harder, and a big part of our work and play is trying to cope with the information overload we face every single day,” said Arthur Lam, Director of OxygenOS and AI Strategy at OnePlus. “Plus Mind has been specifically developed to act as a personal intelligence for our users, helping them remember everything in a secure and private way.”

How Plus Mind works

Plus Mind first appeared on OnePlus 13s, the new compact flagship device launched by OnePlus in June. While OnePlus 13s uses a dedicated Plus Key to trigger Plus Mind, on OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R, this becomes a simple swipe instead. To send any type of information to Plus Mind, from webpages to images, messages or social network posts and more, users swipe upwards on their screen with three fingers, the exact opposite of a traditional three finger swipe down screenshot gesture.

After swiping, Plus Mind will immediately analyse and suggest appropriate actions to users, like adding calendar events for key dates it spots in the content it captures. It will also make the captured data available for the user any time they visit their Mind Space, which is now a new app in the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R’s app list, or easily found via natural language searches in the AI Search bar, found by swiping down on the home screen. Mind Space uses OnePlus AI technology to understand the content it is seeing and automatically generate descriptions, information and tags for every piece of content as well as potentially translating the text it sees to a user’s native language.

For example, a user who uses a three finger swipe up on a picture of an event poster will automatically be prompted to add the event date into their calendar, while Plus Mind also captures all the key data and adds it into the user’s Mind Space on their OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. Meanwhile a three finger swipe up on a fashion website will see Plus Mind analyse what it sees on the page and summarise the looks on display. Then a user can easily rediscover this information in their Mind Space at a later date and return to the webpage with a single tap.

More to come from OnePlus AI

OnePlus announced its AI strategy earlier this year and has dedicated itself to creating a personalised intelligence for its users. This strategy was created after hundreds of conversations with OnePlus users all around the world to learn about their hopes, dreams and fears for artificial intelligence.

These conversations gave OnePlus deep insights into the users, which has led it to focus on ensuring that every OnePlus user has a phone that truly understands them and can help them work smart and play hard. As part of this, OnePlus has already released a range of AI features in different territories around the world and continues to work on releasing more. These include:

  • AI VoiceScribe: Enables users to record, summarize, and translate calls and meetings directly within popular messaging, video, and online meeting applications (available in India only)
  • AI Translation: Consolidates all translation capabilities – text, live voice, camera-based, and screen translation – into a single, intuitive app, making it easier to understand foreign languages and connect globally.
  • AI Search: Allows conversational, natural language queries, seamlessly searching local files, settings, notes, and calendars for contextually relevant results. Integrated with AI Plus Mind, it enhances productivity through intuitive, interactive searches.
  • AI Reframe: Analyzes photo scenes, identifies the subject, and adjusts composition, generating multiple creative framing options for users to choose from.
  • AI Perfect Shot: Creates the perfect group shot by helping fix any badly timed blinks or substituting facial expressions on photos of up to twenty people.
