SCDL Marks Silver Jubilee with Career Seminar by Dr. Arjun Vaidya in Bengaluru

Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) Celebrates Silver Jubilee with Insightful Career Seminar by Dr. Arjun Vaidya in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, 30 June 2025: As part of the silver jubilee celebrations of Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), a special career growth seminar by Dr. Arjun Vaidya was organized in Bengaluru. Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Dr. Arjun Vaidya addressed the audience on the topic “Reinventing Yourself for India’s Ever-Changing Job Market.”

Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized, “In the age of social media, it is important to have a digital presence and to keep it updated with relevant information. This creates a digital identity. By staying active on social media, one can open many doors to opportunities. Passion is essential in any work you do—it is this passion that makes the journey smoother. Instead of complaining, one should turn challenges into golden opportunities and build new ventures. Consistency in skills, competence, creativity, persistence, and self-belief can help achieve your goals.”

The event received an overwhelming response in Bengaluru. It saw participation from SCDL alumni, working professionals, graduates, and employees from various sectors who were interested in redefining their careers. Nikhil Vaidya, Ashish Pandita, and Jay Kolhe were also present.

Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) is one of the largest private distance education institutions in India. Established in 2001, SCDL is a pioneer in providing flexible, high-quality education to thousands of students in India and abroad. As it celebrates its Silver Jubilee (25 years of excellence in online education), the journey has been one of empowering learners and shaping careers through innovative distance education programs. SCDL offers cutting-edge infrastructure, dedicated faculty, and advanced digital learning. It has built a strong reputation for offering industry-relevant postgraduate diploma programs across various domains. In addition to its individual learning programs, SCDL also collaborates with leading local, national, and international organizations to offer specialized corporate programs—this seminar being a part of that initiative.

Speaking about opportunities in rural areas, Dr. Vaidya said, “There are tremendous business opportunities in rural India. Even while working globally, one can start a venture by identifying key issues and make progress. By continuously meeting people, your network grows—and this is how you discover the hidden secrets of the market. Out-of-classroom experiences enrich a person. While working in large companies, employees often don’t have the visionary perspective of the company’s owner. So, instead of seeing yourself as just an employee, see the company as your own venture and make decisions accordingly. If you want to start a business, act now. Don’t waste time. In any product or service, the customer is the end user—only through customer feedback can you identify business shortcomings.”

On artificial intelligence (AI), he said, “If you fear AI, you won’t be able to use it. AI can help create strategies, but it cannot implement them—that still requires human involvement. Keep yourself updated with new things. There’s a wealth of learning available. Work in India—there are countless opportunities here. When no one else believes in you, believe in yourself and keep moving forward.”

GenAI Kapture CX Launches Agentic EX to Redefine Enterprise Employee Experience

With its newly launched Agentic EX, Kapture empowers enterprises and their employees to improve productivity and save time on searching, task-switching and navigating support systems.

India, June, 2025: Kapture CX, India’s leading GenAI-powered CX automation platform has recently announced the launch of Kapture EX, an AI-first solution that unifies workflows, communication and assistance across departments. The platform combines AI-powered workspaces, autonomous agents and service desk automation to provide a seamless enterprise experience.

In the present, enterprise employee experience is highly fragmented due to tool fatigue, disjointed systems and inefficient support mechanisms. Unlike traditional tools that bolt on AI, EX is designed as and AI-native solution to bring intelligence to every interaction and eliminate the chaos of disconnected systems. It helps employees reclaim 60–90 minutes every day by reducing time spent on searching, task-switching and navigating support systems.

Commenting on the launch announcement, Sheshgiri Kamath, CEO and Co-Founder of Kapture CX said, “AI should be embedded at the core of enterprise workflows—not siloed. With Kapture EX, we’re not just automating support but redefining how work happens across departments, unlocking time and intelligence at scale.”

The workplace has become bloated with point solutions as employees spend more time switching apps than solving problems. Hence, Kapture has come up with a game-changing Agentic EX solution that is the antidote to digital sprawl in unifying work, knowledge and assistance into one coherent and intelligent system.

Unlike legacy systems that retrofit AI, Kapture EX is engineered as an AI-native platform that integrates multi-model LLMs and agentic capabilities from the ground up, with multi-model support (GPT, Claude, Gemini), agentic workflows and context-aware service automation. It works as an AI workspace for the modern enterprise that handles chat to documents and tickets to analytics.

Currently, Kapture has rolled out Agentic EX with several large enterprises with two organizations already expanding to full-scale, company-wide deployment. The company has deployed it across BFSI, IT services, Retail and Global Capability Centers (GCCs) to streamline internal workflows and enable centralized yet scalable operations through intelligent agentic workflows.

Kapture EX operates on a modular subscription basis that allows enterprises to scale based on use cases AI Workspaces, Intelligent Service Desk and Full Suite Deployment. With built-in enterprise compliance (ISO, GDPR, SOC 2) and role-based access controls, it ensures secure and compliant deployment across geographies.

“We’re not building just another SaaS product. Kapture EX is the AI layer for the modern enterprise and is deployable across HR, finance, IT, and sales. It makes your people faster, your processes smarter, and your platforms AI-ready,” Kamath added.

Building on the early momentum, Kapture is planning for a phased industry-specific launch scheduled for Q3 2025. By moving into full-scale deployment, it aims to become the operating system for intelligent enterprise experience where work, knowledge and assistance combine in one intelligent interface.

Cataracts Cause 66% of Blindness in India: Nethradhama and Sun Pharma Launch Cataract Awareness Cyclothon in Bengaluru
Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital
Dr. Sri Ganesh addresses the participants at the Cataract Awareness Cyclothon

Bengaluru, June 26, 2025: Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital, in collaboration with Sun Pharma, organised a Cataract Awareness Cyclothon in Jayanagar today. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment of cataracts—which is still the leading cause of preventable blindness in India.

The event witnessed participation from over 75 cyclists, including healthcare professionals and eye donors from Shraddha Eye Care, the non-profit wing of Nethradhama. The cyclothon was flagged off by Mr. R. K. Gupta, Trustee of Koshika Foundation, a Non-Profit organization that sponsors free eye checkups, eye surgeries and heart surgeries for needy and underprivileged people, and Professor Dr. Sri Ganesh, Chairman and Managing Director of Nethradhama Super Speciality Eye Hospital. Cyclists rode through key areas of Jayanagar, spreading the message of proactive eye care.

Cataracts account for over 66.2% of blindness cases in India, according to the National Blindness and Visual Impairment Survey. Although effective surgical treatment is available, delayed diagnosis—often due to lack of awareness—leads to irreversible vision loss, particularly among the elderly and rural populations.

“Cataracts are one of the leading causes of blindness, yet they preventable with timely treatment. However, due to a lack of awareness, thousands continue to lose their sight unnecessarily. This is especially true in rural and underserved communities where access to care is limited or delayed. With initiatives like the Cataract Awareness Cyclothon, our goal is to take the message of proactive eye care to the streets — encouraging people to look out for early signs and seek timely medical attention. Awareness, combined with access, is key to eliminating avoidable blindness,” said Professor Dr. Sri Ganesh.

Mr. R. K. Gupta, Trustee of Koshika Foundation, added, “At Koshika Foundation, we focus strongly on eye care because we believe restoring sight can give dignity to many lives. Through small contributions from many people, we help fund cataract surgeries, organise free eye camps, and support charitable eye clinics. Initiatives like this help spread awareness and demonstrate how collaborative efforts can bring timely and affordable treatment to those in need. Awareness is the first step toward prevention, and together, we can help eliminate avoidable blindness. Koshika ensures that every Rupee received from donors goes towards serving the needy. Till date, Koshika Foundation has sponsored over 14,000 cataract surgeries through Shraddha Eye Care.”

Nethradhama is committed to quality eye care with continuous learning, community outreach, and maintaining a high standard of care across all their services. As a part of the initiatives, Nethradhama distributed educational materials, social media awareness drives, and community outreach activities. The doctors at Nethradhama urges families especially with elderly members to prioritise regular eye check-ups, recognise the early signs of cataract, and seek timely care.
