Tinder Matchmaker Introduces the Ultimate Way for Potential Matches to Pass the Friend Test
Bengaluru 26th Oct 2023 : Hosting a dating life debrief with friends is a time-honored tradition, so much so that over 75% of surveyed singles said they discuss their dating life with friends multiple times a month.1 To assist today’s singles and their dating deliberators in deeming if someone is worthy of a Like, Tinder, the world’s most popular dating app for meeting new people, is launching Tinder MatchmakerTM. The new feature lets friends and family asynchronously access Tinder to recommend profiles for a user.
The feature makes modern dating a team sport by essentially integrating the “friend test” into Tinder. Users can now invite others, whether they have a Tinder profile or not, to view and suggest potential matches. It gives Tinder users the added intel of seeing who their friends Like for them when considering a potential match but, just like in real life, the user ultimately decides who they want to send a Like to.
In fact, according to a survey by Tinder, GenZ across India are no stranger to letting their friends swipe on dating apps on their behalf.
● Over a third (37%) have swiped for a friend, and close to a third (28%) have had their friends swipe for them
● 41% young singles in India said they have been on a dating app with a friend looking through profiles together
● More than half (54%) admit to having asked their friend for their advice on profile pictures and bios for dating apps.

Here’s How Tinder Matchmaker Works:
● A Tinder Matchmaker session can be started directly from a profile card, or within app settings. Users can share their unique link with up to 15 friends in a 24 hour period.
● After following the link, the matchmaker can either log in to Tinder or continue as a guest (after completing an age verification prompt and agreeing to Tinder’s terms as outlined).
● Matchmakers have 24 hours to play cupid before the session expires, where they can recommend profiles for the Tinder user but won’t be able to chat or send messages on their behalf.
● Once the session expires, Tinder users will have the opportunity to review the profiles their matchmakers’ Like for them. Profiles that received a Like from a matchmaker will be marked as a “recommendation” (profiles sent a Nope won’t change).
● The Tinder user still makes the final call on who to Like – but now knows who their friends are rooting for.
Tinder Matchmaker is available now in the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Vietnam, and will be rolling out to Tinder users globally in the coming months.

Life-saving PAMI procedure saves 29-year-old heart patient life in Mumbai
Mumbai- Heart attacks were previously believed to affect only older individuals, but now they are affecting every other young person between the ages of 30 and 40. Several factors contribute to this health risk, including inactivity, stress, insomnia, smoking, drinking, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Heart disease is a significant cause of death worldwide and its prevalence has risen in India over the last ten years. This rise in cardiac arrest and related issues is attributed to the fast-paced lifestyle and changes in habits. Worldwide Primary Angioplasty in Myocardial Infarction (PAMI) is the gold standard treatment for the patients suffering from heart attack. Acute myocardial infarction or Heart Attack occurs due to sudden total occlusion (blockage) of blood vessels supplying heart due to formation of blood clots causing injury to heart muscle. Primary Angioplasty in Myocardial Infarction (PAMI) procedure performed by Dr Vivek Agarwal, DM, cardiology and DNB cardiology at Apex Hospital, Kandivali has given a new lease of life to a 29-year-old Mumbai-based heart patient. PAMI is the angioplasty done as a life-saving emergency procedure in a patient with an on-going Myocardial Infarction or Heart Attack.
Giving more information Dr. Vivek Agarwal, Consultant Interventional cardiologist from Apex Hospital, Kandivali said,” A 29-year-old male resident of Malad presented to Apex Hospital, Kandivali recently with acute chest pain associated with sweating. Immediately the patient’s ECG was done and was diagnosed as Acute AWMI and blood pressure on the lower side. Loading dose of antiplatelet and statin was given with anticoagulant and within 30mins patient was shifted to Cath lab for Coronary angiography and PAMI procedure. Coronary angiography showed 99% lesion with large thrombus in proximal LAD. Angioplasty was done with 1 Drug eluting stent with TIMI III flow and no dissection. After 2 days of Hospital stay, the patient was discharged in a hemodynamically stable condition.”
Several procedures are not easy during primary angioplasty. Identification of culprit lesion may require a thorough evaluation; vessel access can be challenging; lesion morphology can be tricky; thrombus burden can be truly “burdensome”; hemodynamics critical and worsening by the minute; or no re-flow may be stubborn to usual treatment. Or, simply, a combination of these variables and darned. Mumbai, 26 October 2023: IDBI Bank announced that it has gone live on Swift India Inter Bank Trade platform, offering seamless transaction capabilities with on-boarded corporates. This platform supports the harmonized exchange of structured financial information and is designed to enhance the overall trade digitization in domestic space and provides security and efficiency while adhering to industry regulations and standards. This launch aligns with the Bank’s dedication to provide a secure and efficient solution for financial communications.
SWIFT India Domestic Services Pvt. Ltd. is a member-owned cooperative created by SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication). The company provides messaging services to domestic market infrastructures, banks, and corporates, enabling the financial community to exchange automated and standardized financial messages in a secured reliable environment of SWIFT infrastructure.
