Hyderabad, 07 March 2025: Shri Amitava Mukherjee has assumed office as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of NMDC with effect from March 6, 2025.

 A seasoned officer from the 1996 batch of the Indian Railway Accounts Services (IRAS), Shri Mukherjee has served the Government of India in various capacities before ascending to the apex leadership of NMDC. As part of the BAJA SAEINDIA, the HR Meet is the cornerstone event, bringing together top industry leaders, academia, and promising young BAJA engineers to explore and shape the future of mobility in India. The recruitment market is a highly competitive one, to state the obvious. Coromandel International Invests in Expansion, Doubling Sulphur Capacity to 50,000 MT at Visakhapatnam Plant

The new plant is equipped with advanced German technology and capabilities to fortify Sulphur fertilisers with multiple micronutrients, addressing the evolving nutrient deficiencies in Indian soil. Beyond production, this facility also sets the stage for research and development for introducing new Sulphur variants designed to meet the crop and geography specific needs of Indian agriculture.
