Launch and Jersey Unveil of 1st Edition of Golden Pagoda Marathon 2025
In the crystalline embrace of Delhi’s winter, the Press Club of India came alive with excitement as Namsai Marathon 2025- the 1st edition of the Golden Pagoda Marathon 2025 was announced. Scheduled for Sunday, 9th February 2025, Golden Pagoda Marathon is India’s most scenic run inviting runners and travelers alike to experience the enchanting charm of Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. The announcement was followed by unveiling the official jersey for the event in the esteemed presence of Shri Ninong Ering, Honourable MLA, and Shri Abu Tayeng, IAS, Secretary of Sports & Youth Affairs.

This year’s theme, “Marathon & Namsai Tourism”, underscores the region’s pristine landscapes and vibrant cultural heritage. The race’s start and finish lines are set the against the backdrop of the iconic Golden Pagoda, an exquisite symbol of Thai-inspired architecture and Namsai’s cultural legacy, making it an unparalleled fusion of endurance, scenic beauty, and spiritual connection. From traditional performances and local delicacies to eco-conscious practices, every aspect of the event is designed to showcase the region’s unique identity.
The Golden Pagoda Marathon offers runners a flat course with an ideal single-loop full marathon route, perfect for Indian and international participants alike. With an average temperature of around 20°C on race day, the event promises optimal running conditions. All participants will receive an official dri-fit race t-shirt, finisher medal, and comprehensive route support featuring hydration, energy drinks, and snacks.
The Namsai Marathon 2025 offers a total prize pool of INR 36 lakhs and will be conducted in the following categories:

Zypp Electric does an equity partnership with e-Sprinto to Electrify the last mile, gives 30,000 e-scooters order
Gurugram, 26th December 2024: Zypp Electric, India’s largest EV-based last-mile delivery service, has entered into a strategic partnership with e-Sprinto, the nation’s leading electric two-wheeler company. This collaboration aims to deploy 30,000 e-Sprinto high-speed electric vehicles into Zypp Electric’s fleet over the next three years. This move strengthens both companies’ commitment to sustainable transportation and better livelihoods for delivery pilots. The partnership will also focus on providing top-tier after-sales service and support to the pilots, ensuring the fleet’s reliability and longevity. This reflects Zypp and e-Sprinto’s shared commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
In this partnership, the new fleet of vehicles will boost the efficiency of last-mile delivery operations. It will also empower 30,000 of Zypp Electric’s delivery pilots with advanced, reliable vehicles, ensuring better earnings and productivity. College Vidya findings INR 1.5 Crore financial aid disbursed in 2024, sets INR 5 Crore target for 2025
A recent analysis by College Vidya, India’s leading online education platform, has revealed the significant impact of its financial aid program across states like Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, and West Bengal. The platform disbursed INR 1.2 Crore in 2024, benefitting 5,751 students nationwide. This initiative has been instrumental in supporting learners facing financial challenges, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations without compromise.
Statewise, Uttar Pradesh led the way, with 807 students receiving aid amounting to INR 12.1 lakh. It was followed by Delhi and Maharashtra, with 769 and 621 students benefiting from INR 12.2 lakh and 11.3 lakh, respectively. Bihar and West Bengal also saw notable contributions underlying the platform’s commitment to bridging financial gaps in education.
Speaking about the impact of the initiative, Rohit Gupta, COO of College Vidya said, “Reports suggest that more than 70% of students cite financial constraints as the primary reason for discontinuing their education. At College Vidya, we believe that money shouldn’t become a barrier for students willing to acquire quality education. Next Bharat Ventures Hosts Next Billion Forum to Boost India-Japan Ties
GIFT City, 25th December 2024: Next Bharat Ventures, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, successfully hosted the inaugural Next Billion Forum. This event marked a pivotal step in fortifying India-Japan ties and fostering strategic investments in India’s underserved regions. The forum emphasized the importance of charting a course for Viksit Bharat 2047 by integrating the rural and informal economy into the national growth agenda. The forum also marked the opening of applications for the second cohort of the Next Bharat Residency Program.
During the forum, 13 impact entrepreneurs from the cohort of Next Bharat Ventures were introduced, and the start of the application process for their next batch was announced. Selected from over 1,500 startups across the country, 50% of these select entrepreneurs are women founders. Next Bharat Ventures, apart from providing risk capital, also provides network and mentoring to these startups.

A panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Mohandas Pai, also included esteemed panelists such as Mr. Nilesh Shah, Managing Director at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co., a well-known economist and advisor to the Prime Minister; Ms. Reema Nanavati, Director of SEWA; and Mr. K. Rajaraman, Chairman of IFSCA. Discussions centred on strategies to achieve India’s development goals by 2047, with a special focus on key investment practices to unlock the growth potential of the Next Billion.
Mr. Vipul Nath Jindal, MD & CEO of Next Bharat Ventures, emphasized: “Next Bharat Ventures was founded with the vision of building a community of great entrepreneurs, creating greater impact for the next billion people. Mr. Amitabh Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa, Govt. of India and former CEO of NITI Aayog, added “India, a $4 trillion economy growing at 8.2%, is the only country building eight airports and three metros annually, 30 km of roads and 13 km of railway tracks daily, and has increased solar energy 31x in nine years. Our virtual banking system handles 50% of fast payments in real-time on mobile and we aim to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047 under PM Modi’s vision to achieve this milestone we require more partnerships like those with Japan, particularly through Suzuki Motors, which has been integral to India’s manufacturing success over so many decades”.

I’ve never seen such an investment strategy by any private organization; the impact Next Bharat Ventures will create in the next decade is set to redefine India’s growth trajectory. Further to this, Mr. K Rajaraman, Chairperson of International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), discussed at length how India must move from being a passive consumer to a global leader in innovation and domestic capabilities. He outlined progress in India’s reform journey led by Hon Prime Minister, mentioning “With over 28 international banks and 200 alternate investment funds already operational at GIFT City, we are witnessing unprecedented progress. Initiatives such as Next Bharat Ventures’ impact investment fund registered in GIFT IFSC further underline the critical role of collaborations in unlocking Middle India’s potential and empowering communities. IFSCA’s focus remains on creating an ecosystem that seamlessly attracts global capital while driving inclusive, sustainable, and technology-enabled growth for ViksitBharat@2047 journey.” He also pointed out increased scope for Japanese investors to invest in India.
Mr. Nilesh Shah, Managing Director at Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Co.; a well-known economist and advisor to the Prime Minister reflected during the panel, “Investors are drawn to India for growth, governance, and efficiency. Over the last decade, Indian markets have delivered 166% earnings growth in rupee terms, far surpassing China’s 10% in renminbi. Despite needing capital, India is an exporter of capital.”

Tajurba Business Network Hosted a Successful SME IPO Workshop, empowering over 100 SMEs
New Delhi, 23rd December 2024- Tajurba Business Network, India’s leading platform for training entrepreneurs and business owners, recently organized a SME IPO Workshop at “HOME” Vasant Kunj, Delhi, to empower SME owners with the knowledge and guidance of having themselves listed in the SME exchange. The workshop was attended by over 100 SME owners who came from different corners of the world.
