Sightsavers India’s Eight–State Inclusive Education Programme Bags the Zero Award 2024
New Delhi, 9th December 2023: Sightsavers India won the Zero Project Award 2024 for its Eight–State Inclusive Education Programme’s concerted effort for using accessible Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices. The initiative stood out among 523 nominations from 97 countries, earning recognition from an international peer-review board for its innovation, impact, and scalability.
The Zero Project 2024 annual research cycle was dedicated to the Inclusive Education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) theme.
Sightsavers India’s Inclusive Education Programme aims to promote a positive and enabling environment in schools, families, and communities to support the holistic education of children with visual impairment. Enablement is facilitated by the availability of assistive devices and accessible educational material, provision of compensatory skills training, infrastructure accessibility, and building education management and leadership.
We aim to ensure that children who are visually impaired are included in mainstream education. AICTE to launch new Approval Process Handbook on 6th December, 2023

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) will launch its new Approval Process Handbook for FY 2024- 2027. The launch will take place on December 06, 2023 (Wednesday) at National Media Centre, New Delhi at 11 am onwards.
AICTE Chairman Prof. T.G. Sitharam, Vice Chairman Dr. Abhay Jere and Member Secretary Prof. Rajive Kumar will formally launch the handbook and address media about the new provisions and amendments introduced in the approval process.
The Approval Process Handbook (APH) of AICTE is a roadmap for all Institutions seeking approval from the council to run programmes/courses falling under AICTE’s ambit. Considering the same, AICTE is endeavouring to build a transparent and hassle-free technical education ecosystem by ensuring seamless approvals to the institutions through the AICTE Approval Process Handbook. Various amendments and changes have been incorporated in Approval Process Handbook 2024-27 with focus on quality of education, simplicity of procedures and transparency in implementation.
The launch of the new APH will add value in simplifying the approval process, enabling institutions to function most efficiently and effectively. The new provisions introduced in the handbook are with a vision to make India a technical hub by 2047.

Physics Wallah (PW) Academy to Unveil Comprehensive Curriculum for Nursery to class 8, introduce AI & Coding Skills Platforms for Children
Mumbai, 1st December, 2023 – Physics Wallah (PW), India’s leading edtech unicorn, is set to introduce a comprehensive curriculum from nursery to 8th grade through its school partnership arm, PW Academy, to foster holistic development right from an early age.
As part of this initiative, PW aims to target 2,000 schools for the curriculum implementation in the next academic year. SAI International Hosts the 7th Edition of SAITED

SAITED 2023 concluded with a lavish closing ceremony that included an amazing musical extravaganza. CRC Group Organises Inter-School Painting Competition Under Spirit Of Noida Campaign
Noida: CRC Group, NCR’s leading real estate entity, hosted the 13th Annual Inter School Setu Shikshajyoti Painting Competition at Mayoor School, Sector 126, Noida. Qubik Infra revamps 19 government schools into smart schools under Operation Kayakalp

Uttar Pradesh, December 1, 2023: A child’s overall development begins with an elementary education, and smart classrooms provide a nurturing, creative environment for them to reach their full potential. Thus, in order to transform Moradabad’s government schools into smart schools, the Uttar Pradesh government announced Operation Kayakalp. Leading national infrastructure company Qubik Infra, which was in charge of the renovation of 19 of these smart schools, recently declared this large project’s completion. With a primary focus on providing quality education in a stimulating environment, these institutions are a key component of the government’s ambitious initiative to transform the city of Moradabad into a smart city.
Thousands of children in the city of Moradabad will benefit from this project worth 25 crores which was completed in less than two years, heralding the start of a new era of development and literacy in the area. Aside from the physical infrastructure, each classroom for grades nursery to 5 is now outfitted with a cutting-edge smart system.
This technology allows students to visualize theoretical lessons, transforming the traditional learning experience into an engaging and interactive journey. Another distinguishing feature of these smart schools is the use of an energy-efficient LED lighting system, which reflects their commitment to sustainability.
Mr. Nikhil Jain, CEO of Qubik, stated on the occasion, “Smart classes are revolutionary in education, allowing children to broaden their horizons of thinking. The company received the tender to revamp 19 former government schools and construct one educational institution in January 2022. The newly established smart government schools are designed to foster the holistic development of young minds and will undoubtedly lessen the gaps in education. Now with the project being completed, the schools will be open to welcome pupils.
Previously, Qubik Infra collaborated with the UP government to construct an auditorium in Aligarh Habitat Center and modify Achaltal Temple with a statue of Lord Shiva and fountains. Some of their projects are still in progress, including Metal Handicraft Service Center in Moradabad.
