Veranda RACE celebrates grand success of 2103 students

CHENNAI, 8th May 2024: Veranda RACE, a Veranda Learning enterprise, celebrated its 12th Success Meet across various parts of Tamil Nadu. The first successful meet was held in Chennai on April 6, 2024, followed by events in Madurai, Coimbatore, and Salem. The blue riband events celebrated the success of 2103 Veranda RACE students who crossed the finish line across Bank, Insurance, Railways, Central & State Government Exams over the past 12 months. At the recently announced TNPSC Group 2 results, over 350 students from Veranda RACE emerged victorious.

The success meets saw emotions running high as student achievers took to the stage with their parents and relatives to share their success stories.

Ms. K. Swarnalakshmi, who cleared the IBPS PO exam in Chennai, hailed Veranda RACE’s team for their never-ending support. “My mentors at Veranda RACE had a lot of belief in me. It wouldn’t have been possible without their support,” she said. Students were effusive in their praise for the Practice Village in Chennai.

The event, attended by the Veranda leadership team comprising Mr. Suresh Kalpathi (Executive Director and Chairman), Mr. Bharath Seeman (Founder of RACE), and Mr. Santosh Kumar (CEO of Veranda RACE), served as an indelible platform to recognize the hard work and dedication of students, faculty, mentors, and staff.

Vice-President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Inspires Graduates at BIMTECH’s 36th Convocation

BIMTECH has signed an MOU with Singapore Management University (SMU) for an ‘Inclusive and Immersive Experiential Learning (I2XL) Programme’ under which five BIMTECH students have been selected to visit SMU for an intensive Executive Development Programme. BIMTECH plans to scale up the numbers in the forthcoming years.

The event also celebrated 12 highly ambitious degree holders by rewarding their exceptional academic attainment. Gold medals were handed over for securing the overall first position to Mr. Nitesh Shah in PGDM, Ms. Aanchal Mittal in PGDM (IB), Ms. Ritika Srivastava in PGDM (IBM), and Ms. Sanskriti Khare in PGDM (RM). Bengaluru, India, May 7, 2024: The Micron Foundation has partnered with the United Way of Hyderabad (UWH) to provide scholarships to 60 of the brightest students from India’s leading engineering institutions, offering them a path towards academic excellence and a brighter future. These scholarships, which will be awarded as part of the University Research Alliance Micron (URAM) initiative, help ensure that each student has an opportunity to unlock their potential, pursue their chosen fields of study, and embark on a fulfilling career journey.

The scholarships are specifically tailored to support students in their B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) third semester and M.Tech (Master of Technology) first year, in the fields of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Computer Engineering. Among the 60 recipients,16 are women, and 10 are part of the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category, reflecting Micron’s dedication to inclusivity and the breadth of talent nurtured by the scholarship program.

These students represent some of India’s leading institutions including IIT Delhi, IIIT Bangalore, IIT Gandhinagar, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), NIT Trichy, and the JNTUH College of Engineering.

The selection process included an extensive on-campus activation and nationwide college campaigns with 2,677 applications from 494 institutes across the nation. Following a meticulous review process conducted by UWH, based on predefined selection criteria along with a comprehensive technical assessment, 60 exceptional candidates emerged as recipients of the scholarship, each demonstrating outstanding merit and promise in their respective fields of study. With a value of up to ₹80,000 per student, the scholarships aim to alleviate deserving students from financial burden, empowering them to pursue their academic aspirations with renewed vigor.

Orchids Sahakar Nagar Branch Achieves 100 Percent Results for 16th Consecutive Year

Bangalore, 07th May 2024: Orchids The International School, (School Vivekananda), Sahakar Nagar branch today announced its remarkable achievement of attaining a 100% pass rate in the ICSE 10th Board examinations for the 16th consecutive year of the board examination since 2008. In an endeavor to instill students with a strong sense of social justice, Manipal Law School, MAHE, Bengaluru organized the 4th edition of its Constitutional Law Lecture Series on 4th May 2024, with the theme focused on ‘Social Justice’.

Hon’ble Mr Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge, Supreme Court of India was the Chief Guest of the event. The event was also graced by Hon’ble Mr Justice E. S. Indiresh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka, Lt. Gen. (Dr) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, Hon’ble Justice Dr K J Thaker, Chairperson, GHRC & Former Judge, Allahabad High Court. Prof Avinash Dadhich, Director, Manipal Law School, MAHE, Bengaluru shared his thoughts as to Constitutionalism to be understood in the right perspective by the law students and law professionals. He stressed the lighthouse principles as laid down under Fundamental Rights embodied in Constitution of India which the class of prudent individuals must put in efforts in making rural communities aware of.

Addressing the audience, Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, said, “I am incredibly proud that Manipal Law School has taken the initiative to organize this significant event focused on social justice. Hon’ble Mr Justice E. S. Indiresh, Judge, High Court of Karnataka, also shared his experiences in detail about social justice in the light of landmark judgments given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India from time to time. He also laid greater stress on the mechanisms available in terms of Constitutional Remedies to be utilized for the upliftment of weaker sections of our Society.

Hon’ble Justice Dr K J Thaker, Chairperson, GHRC & Former Judge, Allahabad High Court, took this opportunity to take the audience through issues and challenges about the delivery of Social Justice. He shared his visionary thoughts thereby connecting the preamble of the Indian Constitution to the modern-day predicaments, the lower strata were facing.

Chief Justice, Hon’ble Mr Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge, Supreme Court of India threw light on the efficacy and importance of social justice and its delivery system in India thereby taking the audience through Case Laws and jurisprudential underpinnings as propounded by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, who was the chief architect of the Constitution of India. He laid more emphasis on the weaker sections spoke volumes of their upliftment and sensitized the audience to be of assistance to such sections of our society in the delivery of social justice.

Dr. Ali Faran Gulrez proposed the Vote of Thanks thereby thanking everybody for making the Constitutional Law Lecture Series 4th Edition Program a grand success.

The lecture series was a resounding success, drawing an audience comprising of numerous UG and PG law students, law professionals, research scholars, teachers, policymakers, industry experts, and law enthusiasts from across the country. The event not only facilitated insightful discussions and knowledge exchange but also fostered meaningful connections among attendees, serving as a pivotal platform for the legal community. Hyderabad, 6th May 2024: The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for Recruitment to higher Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service.

Vision IAS conducted a seminar on UPSC preparation strategy by our students who secured All India Rank Mr. Navneet Anand ( AIR Rank. 499, UPSC CSE 2023 ) & Mr. Harshit Srivastava ( AIR Rank. 521, UPSC CSE 2023 ) which was attended by many aspirants.

Completed his School & Intermediate in Maharshi Patanjali Vidyamandir – CBSE and B tech Electronics and Communication- Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow.

In this session, both shared their inspiring journey with the aspirants and offered them strategies for managing time effectively, developing practical study plans, and maintaining motivation throughout their preparation journey. The session was appraised by all the aspirants who reached the VISION IAS Hyderabad centre in Telangana to attend the open session, leaving a mark on the future nation leaders.
