FIIB and CommonTime Unite to Launch “The Art of Arts Entrepreneurship”
New Delhi, 9th Feb 2024: In a pioneering collaboration, CommonTime, a distinguished international arts education platform, has joined forces with FIIB (Fortune Institute of International Business), New Delhi, to present a transformative 10-week online seminar – “The Art of Arts Entrepreneurship,” scheduled to commence on 15th February. The creative economy, valued at a staggering two trillion dollars, forms the backdrop for this initiative to empower artists worldwide with essential entrepreneurial skills, business acumen, and global marketing strategies. The first of its kind, the seminar is crafted to address the pressing needs of artists in today’s market, helping them explore opportunities and connect with global industry experts for a rewarding entrepreneurship journey in the artistic economy.

Teach For India’s Revolutionary Retreat brings together student leaders and young changemakers from across India
Mumbai, 9th February 2024– Hosted by Kids Education Revolution (KER), Teach For India’s global platform for student leadership, the Revolutionary Retreat is a one-of-a-kind space for like-minded and passionate student leaders to come together as a community and dream about a better world. It is a space for students across the country to reflect on their own leadership, build the skills they need to drive sustainable impact, and join a movement of leaders who are reimagining education through community-level solutions for change.
This year, the 3-day Revolutionary Retreat brought together over 150 students and educators from across India, and abroad (Malaysia, New Zealand, and Kazakhstan), at Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini in Bhayander, Mumbai.
KER Revolutionaries, or participants, are students who come from diverse backgrounds working on a range of changemaking projects, coming together to develop and strengthen their commitment to self, others, and India. Through immersive learning experiences, collaborative spaces, and reflective activities, students embark on a personal leadership journey that is rooted in the idea of building active citizenship and giving back to the community. The Revolutionaries at the retreat are guided by student mentors, who are paying it forward by helping a new set of students grow into empathetic, empowered, and confident young leaders. Anisha Ansari, a student mentor, shared, “It is a powerful thing to see students learning from each other, and helping each other grow. I feel like I am part of a community that is working towards the same goal – to build a better India”.
At this year’s retreat, students engaged in sessions that built their understanding of design thinking and collective leadership, as well as of Teach For India’s framework of the 8Cs – courage, compassion, consciousness, communication, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and curiosity. Through hands-on activities that encouraged children to think about the most pressing issues that impact them and their communities, through experiential learning spaces that deepened their understanding of India’s Constitutional Values and the role that they play in upholding them, and through a stimulating exposure visit to Mumbai’s Museum of Solutions – the young student leaders explored ideas of social justice, inequality, gender, discrimination, environment, and much more.
Shaheen Mistri, Founder and CEO of Teach For India, led a session where students explored “India and the World”, thinking about children in conflict zones, and the role that each of us can play in building a world that is safe, equitable, and just. Through the power of art, expression, and collaborative thinking, she led students to create a giant mandala as a symbol of peace and solidarity, that represented the idea of rebuilding and reimagining the world that our children are growing up in.
The 6th edition of Revolutionary Retreat concluded with a screening of the Conference of the Birds Film – a feature-length film based on Teach For India’s musical, that takes the audience on a journey through the valleys of Justice, Equality, Liberty, and Fraternity, in search of the true meaning of India. As students and educators watched this exploration of India’s values together, and reflected on their understanding of our Constitution, the power of partnership between students and educators was highlighted once again.
This year, the Retreat brought together KER Revolutionaries who are working on change projects exploring themes like gender equality, access to education, mental health and wellness, expression through art, and more – while also inviting educators and teachers who are partnering with students to create safe spaces, amplify student voices, and develop holistic learning experiences. Through a process that is grounded in the practice of reflection, listening, collaboration, and action, the Retreat sparked the desire for change in many young leaders and educators who are in our classrooms today.

Nagaland Olympic Association and Sports For All (SFA) partnership to enable school athletes in Nagaland to showcase their sporting talent
Mumbai, 8 February, 2024: Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) and Sports For All (SFA), have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen the grassroots ecosystem in the state. The announcement was made in attendance of esteemed dignitaries, Shri. Neiphiu Rio, Honorable Chief Minister of Nagaland; Shri. Y Patton, Honorable Deputy CM, Nagaland; Shri. Abu Metha, Advisor to CM and Chairman IDAN and Shri Neivikuolie Khatsu, Asst Secretary General, NOA, alongwith SFA team represented by Rishikesh Joshi, Founder and Tilak Kakkad, Director’s Office. This partnership marks a significant step towards the realization of the shared vision to encourage sports participation, empower talent, and build a platform for athletes to showcase their skills on a larger stage.
Nagaland, known for its rich cultural heritage, has been making commendable strides in sports. The recently announced Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024 across 16 sporting disciplines underscore the state’s dedication to creating opportunities for athletes. Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, etc. are some of the key sports of the state. Previously, Nagaland has also produced some great sportsmen like Dr. T Ao (the first captain of the Indian Olympic football team) and Chekrovolu Swuro (Olympian archer and Arjuna Awardee).

Sancta Maria Students’ projects receive global appreciation and grants
Hyderabad, 1 February 2024: Two projects submitted by Sancta Maria International School Students as part of the ISP Changemakers programme have made a significant mark, receiving grants for their future implementation. The ISP Changemakers programme offered by the International Schools Partnership empowers students with the essential tools and methodologies to create initiatives that make a significant social impact. Engaging in this programme enables students to tackle pertinent concerns in the community, which are instrumental in shaping the future.
The ‘Courteous Conversations Crusade’ project aims to foster a safer and more respectful online environment by combatting the use of inappropriate language and promoting a more positive verbal behaviour. It plans to achieve this by establishing a code of conduct, creating educational materials such as online guides and webinars, implementing AI-based content filters, and developing reporting mechanisms for offensive content.
The initiative also involves a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of respectful online communication across various platforms. In collaboration with social media platforms and digital rights organisations, the project aims to curb the use of foul language in the short term by motivating people to be more aware of its negative effects and, in the long term, by fostering a more thoughtful and considerate online community.
The ‘Eatwise!’ project presented by primary school students aims to address the impact of unhealthy food choices on children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being by instigating a positive transformation in their food practices. It emphasises the importance of reflection and a shift in perception towards healthier food options, promoting a sustainable and healthy lifestyle for children.
The implementation involves various educational initiatives such as age-appropriate questionnaires and nutritional information displays. Creative engagement methods like art competitions and community involvement through recipe booklets will be employed. The project also includes sharing best practices with a sibling school, fostering healthy competition and accountability through inter-house competitions and creating a school kitchen garden for seasonal organic produce, in partnership with Organo-Et.
The impact is multi-faceted, aiming to promote mindful food choices, building a healthier community by preventing lifestyle diseases, and fostering a future-ready generation by instilling responsibility, empathy, and an understanding of the importance of a sustainable world in the next generation.

M3M Foundation selects Lokesh Kumar from Tauru through science competition
Tauru, Nuh, Haryana: M3M Foundation is supporting to YMRD’s “Team Kaizel” into the uncharted territories of NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2024 to be held from 18th-20th April 2024. With the support of “Team Kaizel”, M3M Foundation in collaboration with local district administrations in selected districts of India (Panipat, Faridabad, Noida, Gurugram and Nuh) has selected six students through organizing science exhibitions. The selected students have become part of “Team Kaizel” and will now fly for NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2024. This will provide them with a unique international exposure opportunity. M3M Foundation’s commitment to innovation and passion for science exploration sets the tone for this historic journey.
Completing this campaign, M3M Foundation has selected Lokesh Kumar, Nuh, Pallavi, Gurugram-Badshahpur, Rohit Pal, Panipat, Arun Kumar, Faridabad, Utkarsh and Om, Noida.
Lokesh Kumar from Tauru was selected in the science competition organized by M3M Foundation at Sardar Gurmukh Memorial School, Nuh, who will fly for NASA. On this occasion, Nuh District Education Officer, Paramjeet Chahal was present as the chief guest, along with Anika Bansal from M3M Group, Kusum Malik, FLN Coordinator, Ram Kishan District Science specialist and Dr. Aishwarya Mahajan, President of M3M Foundation were present.

The NASA’s Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) is an annual engineering design competition that challenges students from around the world to design, build, and test human-powered rovers capable of traversing challenging terrains and completing mission-focused tasks.
Following their commitment for fostering and promoting science education, the M3M Foundation is supporting YMRD’s “Team Kaizel,” (an organization for supporting young scientists and researchers). This is the only team supported by an NGO out of 8 selected teams from India comprises of group of exceptionally talented students from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar & Mahatastra. The team has earned the honor of representing India at the Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) hosted by NASA from 18th to 20th April 2024. This prestigious event focus on emphasizing the design, construction, and testing of technologies for traversing unique environmental terrains.
In conjunction with their support to “Team Kaizel,” M3M Foundation is collaborating with the district administration to identify and select students within the selected districts (Panipat, Faridabad, Noida, Gurugram & Nuh) who share a passion for science and innovation through organizing science exhibitions and STEM engagement one student will be selected and will be a part of Team Kaizel providing them with an unparalleled international exposure opportunity.

New Delhi, 30th January 2024: Observing the International Day of Education, Bry-Air and DRI, the flagship companies of the Pahwa Group, organized Sports Day for students of Bry-Air Pathshala and DRI Pathshala. The event was conducted for the Pathshala students at the Literacy India playground in Bajghera village, Gurugram which witnessed the participation of over 255 students.
Sports Day was organized with the aim of fostering inclusive education by promoting the overall development of the children. To instill enthusiasm among the children, Bry-Air and DRI, conducted a range of activities, namely, spoon race, relay race, 50-meter race, 100-meter race, three-legged race, sack race, and tug of war, etc., to name a few, to inculcate sportsmanship in students right from their formative years.
The flagship companies conduct classes under the names Bry-Air Pathshala and DRI Pathshala, in Dharam Colony and Carterpuri village respectively. The Group has been working in close collaboration with NGO – Literacy India since 2011 and 2014, respectively, to fulfill the cause of providing education to underprivileged children. Staying true to its commitment to making education accessible for everyone, the Group is incessantly dedicated to providing free-of-cost education to underprivileged children. To achieve this purpose, the Group efficiently provides a primary school environment so that children in remote parts of the cities can avail quality education.

Resolved to contribute to the upliftment of society as a responsible organization, Bry-Air, and DRI are continuously involved in empowering the youth and ladies to help them become self-dependent. To achieve this purpose, the Group conducts skill development courses in diversified fields aimed at supporting the women and girl child become self-earning members of the society. For which, they provide training on a wide range of courses such as beautician and tailoring courses, computer literacy, etc., and further provide them with necessary sewing machines, tailoring and beautician kits, etc. to help them set up their small business shops and manage the day-to-day expense of their families.

JAIN Deemed-to-be-University collaborates with ICAI to shape future leaders
Bengaluru 30th January 2024: JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) have formalized their collaboration with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to signify a noteworthy advancement in commerce and accountancy education. This MoU was inked on January 22nd during the National Education Summit on Commerce and Accountancy (NES-CA) 2024, which aims at advancing shared objectives and cultivating a strong partnership in the domains of commerce, accountancy, and finance.
The event where the landmark MoU was signed was adorned with the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Vice-Chairman of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, alongside distinguished included CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, President of ICAI, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal Vice President of ICAI, CA. Vishal Doshi Chairman of the Board of Studies, CA. Dayaniwas Sharma, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Studies and faculty members from JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University)
This collaboration is primarily aimed at expanding academic cooperation in specialized commerce courses including B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), M.Com, Certificate, and Diploma programs. This innovative partnership aims to fuse CA coaching seamlessly into the B.Com curriculum to enhance the quality of commerce education and position JAIN University’s School of Commerce as a premier institution to offer BCom with CA coaching, not only in Bangalore but nationwide. Through this collaboration, ICAI and JAIN will develop collaborative programs to foster intellectual and cultural growth within their academic domains, creating a mutually beneficial alliance.
As part of the MoU, ICAI will conduct specific training sessions in accordance with the New Education Policy, 2020, and organize special sessions for students conducted by the Chartered Accountants fraternity. Additionally, the MoU will facilitate a faculty development program with a focus on promoting the evolving teaching practices relevant to the domain as well as motivating the faculty to achieve a competitive teaching and learning environment. This program will be led by ICAI, which will nominate up to two experts per subject to enrich the governance structure of both institutions. Additionally, The University will now recognize Chartered Accountants Qualification as equivalent to a Post Graduate Degree for admission to Ph.D. in Management or Commerce and allied programs.
Dr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra, Registrar at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), expressed optimism about the collaboration and said, ” The collaboration between ICAI and JAIN reflects mutual dedication to elevating the standards of commerce and accountancy education which will create opportunities for academic excellence, and foster stronger institutional ties. Analysis of JEE (Main) paper of January 27, 2024 (Evening Shift)
NTA has changed the difficulty level of Shift-2 as compared to the one asked in shift-1. The evening shift (shift-2) paper was a bit more difficult as compared to the one asked in Shift-1. The JEE MAIN paper of January 27, 2024 (Evening Shift) was of Moderate level. In this paper, Physics were on the moderate to difficult level whereas Chemistry was on the easier side. A detailed subject-wise analysis is given below.
Chemistry
The paper was by and large based on NCERT books. Very few questions in this shift were asked from Organic chemistry. Most of the questions were from the Physical Chemistry part. 2-3 questions were asked from d-block elements. Questions from prominent chapters like Thermodynamics, Bonding Alkyl and Aryl halides were asked. Overall coverage of the chapters was uniform.
Physics
The physics part was of moderate to difficult level as some good assertion-reasoning questions were there. Questions from Modern Physics, Work Power and Energy, Fluids, and Thermodynamics were there in the paper. Most of the questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. If somebody has gone through the PYQs of the previous year’s papers, he/she will have an upper hand in the paper.
Mathematics
Mathematics paper was moderate to difficult just like the Shift-1 paper. Questions from Algebra were dominant in the paper. A good number of questions were asked from Vectors, 3D and Limits, Continuity, and Differentiability. Questions from Integration and Matrix and Determinants were there in the paper. Almost all the topics were covered.
