Tom Cruise’s secret to death defying stunts
In his eighth and possibly final outing as Ethan Hunt, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise takes action to new heights — quite literally. In one of the film’s most daring stunts, Cruise is seen hanging from and crawling along the wings of a 1940s-era biplane zooming above South Africa’s Drakensberg mountains.
“I remember seeing old footage of wing-walking,” says Cruise of a stunt he’s envisioned trying since he was a kid. “Those aircraft were only traveling at, I don’t know, 40, 50 miles an hour. This aircraft is up to over 120 miles an hour. Going out there, I was realizing that it takes your breath away.”
But how does the actor actually fuel up for stunts of this intensity? With breakfast, he says — and not just any breakfast.
“I actually eat a massive breakfast,” reveals Cruise. “The amount of energy it takes — I train so hard for that wing-walking. I’ll eat, like, sausage and almost a dozen eggs and bacon and toast and coffee and fluids. Oh, I’m eating! Picture: It’s cold up there. We’re at high altitude. My body is burning a lot.”
Even after decades of redefining action cinema, Cruise’s passion remains sky-high fueled by intensity, gratitude and apparently, a powerhouse breakfast!

Celebrating 70 Years of ‘Inspector’ – Nadiadwala’s First Cinematic Milestone
In 1955, Inspector hit the silver screen, marking the start of a legendary journey in Indian cinema. Produced by Mr. Abdul Karim Nadiadwala (A.K. Nadiadwala), it was the very first film under the iconic Nadiadwala banner. Starring veterans like Ashok Kumar, Geeta Bali, and Pran, and directed by Shakti Samanta, the film laid the foundation for a cinematic legacy that would span decades.
Before entering the world of films, A.K. Nadiadwala was a successful name in the construction business. One of his landmark projects was Pushpa Park in Malad, named in honour of his beloved wife. Born in Nadiad, Gujarat, from where his surname comes, he owned half the city before making Mumbai his home and cinema his calling.
From real estate to reel life, his journey was marked by a series of memorable films that left a lasting impact on Indian cinema. Some of these include: Taj Mahal (1963), Chitralekha (1964), Izzat (1968), Amar Shakti (1978) and many more.
As Inspector completes 70 glorious years, we honor the vision and pioneering spirit of A.K. Nadiadwala, who not only built homes but also built dreams on celluloid.

Amol Parashar, who plays Abhimanyu Raisinggh, expressed, “My character is chaos wrapped in charm. He’s fragile, angry, entitled and yet, somewhere, you feel for him. Playing him was like peeling an onion; each layer got darker and more painful. Some scenes left me drained and it felt personal. That’s how well-written Kull is, it is a deep dive into broken relationships, greed, and haunting guilt. When I was told Ekta Kapoor was producing Kull and it will stream on JioHotstar, I was honestly shocked in the best way. It’s bold, fresh, and nothing like we’ve seen before. I’ve always admired Nimrat’s strength on and off screen. Watching her bring Indrani to life gave me something to lean on.”
