Nava Raipur’s Second SEZ to Power Chhattisgarh’s Entry into Semiconductor Manufacturing

May 26 : Nava Raipur has achieved another major milestone in its industrial growth journey with the approval of its second Special Economic Zone . Polymatech Electronics Limited has received approval for setting up an Electronics and Engineering SEZ dedicated to semiconductor and electronics manufacturing over an area of 10.13 hectares in Nava Raipur.

The project gains added significance as Polymatech is establishing Chhattisgarh’s first semiconductor manufacturing plant, marking the state’s entry into one of the world’s most strategic and high-value technology sectors.

The development of a semiconductor-focused SEZ in Nava Raipur will further strengthen Chhattisgarh’s export ecosystem, attract advanced technology investments, integrate the state into global electronics supply chains, and accelerate industrial growth.

The project is estimated to generate over 1,300 employment opportunities over the next five years while creating a strong ecosystem for high-tech manufacturing and skilled workforce development in the state.
