Ventiva Partners with ASUS to Explore Next-Generation Thermal Architectures for Compact AI Computing Systems

TAIPEI, Taiwan – June 1, 2026 – Ventiva®, a leader in solid-state cooling solutions, today announced at Computex 2026 a strategic partnership with ASUS to explore next-generation thermal architectures for compact AI computing systems. Technical Background: Ventiva Ionic Cooling Technology 

Ventiva’s solid-state, all-electronic heat transfer technology leverages the principles of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) flow to move ionized air molecules within an electric field. This ionic cooling innovation moves air without mechanical fans, creating silent, vibration-free airflow. Unlike traditional cooling systems, Ventiva solutions scale easily, integrate cleanly into system designs, and enable airflow configurations that were not previously possible.  

The Ventiva thermal management subsystem is thin, lightweight, and highly modular, and is engineered to adapt to diverse system architectures. • What is ionic cooling, and how does it work? 
  Ionic cooling uses electrically charged particles to move air without any rotating parts. Ventiva’s ionic cooling technology harnesses the power of a minuscule plasma field to move air particles, delivering targeted cooling that removes heat from targeted areas of a system. The result is a solid-state cooling solution with no mechanical parts, no vibrations, and no noise.  

• Does ionic cooling produce any noise? 
  No. Ventiva’s ionic cooling technology has been tested in anechoic chambers, showing less than 15 dBa sound pressure. This is an imperceptible level that is barely above the background noise level in an anechoic chamber.  

• How thin are Ventiva’s air blower devices, and where can they be placed in a system? 
  Unlike traditional blowers which are “top-in / side-out” air flow devices, Ventiva’s ionic cooling module does not need an air gap to draw in air; it is a more space-efficient “side-in / side-out” device. This allows for a lower internal height for a customer application as low as 5 mm, which enables thinner product designs. 

• Why is ionic cooling particularly well-suited for AI workloads? 
  AI workloads generate intense, concentrated heat at the processor, as well as the memory and accelerator components operating in close proximity to the SoC. Conventional cooling solutions struggle to address these distributed heat sources without adding bulk or noise. Tesla Cybercab Drives Itself Out of GigaTexas Factory in Autonomous Breakthrough

Austin, Texas, May 29 (BNP): In a striking demonstration of autonomous vehicle technology, Tesla’s Cybercab was seen driving itself out of the company’s Gigafactory Texas (GigaTexas), marking another milestone in the electric vehicle maker’s push toward fully autonomous transportation. Videos shared online showed multiple Cybercab units autonomously exiting the factory and navigating toward holding or staging areas without human drivers.

The development comes as Tesla accelerates production of its purpose-built autonomous vehicle, designed specifically for robotaxi operations. New Check Point Report Warns of Critical Cloud Security Gaps Amid Rising AI Adoption

India, May 28 : Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. , a pioneer and global leader of cyber security solutions, today released its 2026 Cloud Security Report: Enter the AI Era, revealing a growing disconnect between rapid AI adoption and security readiness.

The report reveals a critical shift from the cloud “blind spots” of 2025 to a deeper challenge in 2026: organizations are no longer just struggling with visibility, but with governance, control, and real-time enforcement. AI is changing how users behave, how applications communicate, and where threats enter the environment. This year, 77% of organizations have updated their security strategy for cloud in response to AI, yet only 26% report having the architecture to enforce it. This reveals a 51-point gap between intent and capability.

Meanwhile, attackers are weaponizing AI tools to accelerate phishing, generate malware, and launch adversarial attacks faster than traditional security models can respond. The impact is already measurable: 78% of organizations reported confirmed or suspected AI-related security incidents over the past year.
“The 2026 Cloud Security Report confirms what many security practitioners already sense,” said Paul Barbosa, Vice President of Cloud Security and SASE at Check Point Software Technologies. “AI adoption has outpaced the architecture built to govern it. Agents are acting inside live systems; data is moving through external AI services, and most enterprises still lack the visibility and enforcement to keep pace. At Check Point, we believe security has to be built into the architecture from the start. Beginning at the infrastructure layer, through clouds, and especially at runtime. Visibility, Control, and Security need to be present at all layers in the stack AI workloads will operate in. “

Key findings for cloud-native environments include:

·Infrastructure Misalignment: 52% of AI workloads span hybrid environments, yet 64% say their architecture needs redesign

·Perimeter Gaps: 76% rate datacenter security as critical for AI, but only 35% say it can support current needs

·Performance Challenges: Only 24% can fully inspect AI traffic without impacting performance; 71% report increased WAF false positives

·Operational Complexity: 88% say AI has increased security complexity; 67% report fragmented policies

·Limited Visibility: 54% of organizations have experienced an AI-related security incident, while another 24% cannot confirm due to lack of visibility. This means more than three-quarters have either been hit or cannot determine whether they have

·Identity Risks: 48% cite non-human identities (AI agents, APIs) as a top concern

·Inconsistent access model: Organizations have yet to converge on a single access model. 24% say they have no AI-specific access controls, and only 16% enforce controls consistently across the environment
