Palo Alto Networks’ State of Generative AI report: on average, 10% of a company’s 66 GenAI apps are high-risk

Mumbai, India, 25th June 2025 — Palo Alto Networks, the world’s leading AI cybersecurity company, released its State of Generative AI 2025 report, which reveals that on average, 10% of a company’s 66 GenAI apps are high-risk. While AI growth offers significant productivity benefits, the report warns that unsanctioned usage, emerging threats, and a lack of governance have rapidly expanded the attack surface for organisations, particularly across India and the Asia-Pacific region.

India’s 2025 Union Budget demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing Artificial Intelligence (AI), with an allocation of Rs. 500 crores towards the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for education. This underscores the country’s ambition to become one of the global leaders in the AI race. While AI is a groundbreaking and transformative technology, it is increasingly being weaponized by threat actors to launch faster, more sophisticated cyber attacks. In this evolving threat landscape, the only effective way to tackle AI-driven attacks is by using AI-driven security systems – essentially fighting AI with AI. This duality highlights the urgency for India to pair AI development with robust cybersecurity preparedness.

The 2025 State of GenAI report, based on traffic analysis from 7,051 global enterprise customers, provides an in-depth look into how enterprises are adopting GenAI and where they remain most vulnerable.

Key findings of the 2025 GenAI Security Report include:

Rapid adoption rates: There’s been an 890% surge in Generative AI (GenAI) traffic in 2024.

In India: The top 3 most used GenAI apps by volume were Grammarly (32.56%), Microsoft Power Apps (19.98%), and Microsoft Copilot (16.37%)

Risk posture: Globally on average, 10% of a company’s 66 GenAI apps are high-risk

Exponential growth in GenAI adoption: Following the release of DeepSeek-R1 in January 2025, DeepSeek-related traffic alone spiked by 1,800% within two months.

Rising data loss incidents: GenAI-related data loss prevention (DLP) incidents more than doubled over the course of 2025, now accounting for 14% of all data security incidents.

Shadow AI emerges as a key risk: Unauthorised, unsanctioned GenAI use, termed “Shadow AI”, has created blind spots for IT and security teams, making it difficult to control sensitive data flows.

Jailbreaking remains a top concern: Many high-risk AI models remain susceptible to jailbreak attacks that produce unsafe content, including offensive material and instructions for illegal activities.

Industry-specific insights: Globally, technology and manufacturing sectors alone account for 39% of AI coding transactions, creating additional risk for industries that depend on proprietary IPs.

Whether you are seeking an extraordinary gaming experience or immersive cinematic thrills, laser projectors with Ultra Short Throw (UST) capabilities are the answer. They are fast becoming the premium choice for users. Their growing popularity is largely driven by changing content consumption habits, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic when many sought a theatre-like ambience at home. MYTH 1: You need a huge room for a projector

There is a general misconception that a separate, especially large room with customised lighting is necessary to set up a home theatre. That’s no longer the case with UST projectors. They come with impressive short-throw ratio capabilities. For example, a Formovie Theater projector has a throw ratio of 0.23:1, allowing it to produce a 100-inch projection from just 9 inches away. Its maximum projection size is 150 inches, and with hassle-free installation, it can be set up easily anywhere in the home. These devices are often better suited to average-sized urban homes than wall-mounted TVs. This means a UST projector can be placed in a living area or any available space without requiring structural changes.

MYTH 2: Projectors are more expensive than TVs

Around seven or eight years ago, projectors were considered high-end luxury items, and at that time, they actually were. They were positioned as niche devices, either for serious cinephiles or for boardrooms with large AV budgets. But now, the economic landscape has changed considerably. Entry-level 4K projectors offer comparable or even better screen size and quality, often at a lower or similar price point compared to big-screen TVs. In fact, projectors can be more appealing in terms of screen size flexibility and price-per-inch, especially when paired with the right screen or wall surface. Increased competition has made projectors more budget-friendly. Also, there are multiple options now available that can suit the consumer’s budget and requirements. For example, alongside premium models like the Theater, Theater Premium, C3, and Cinema Edge, Formovie also offers budget-friendly LCD projectors like the Xming Page One, which delivers 1080p Full HD resolution at a very feasible price range.

MYTH 3: You can’t use projectors in daylight

In older lamp-based home projectors, there was a need for blackout curtains or dimly lit rooms, specially designed for screening. That misconception still exists in the minds of some consumers—that modern-day laser projectors and LCD projectors too cannot be used in daylight. This is not true. The fact is that laser-powered UST projectors can be used in well-lit rooms and are apt for Indian homes, where most people prefer the flow of natural lighting. With thousands of movies and TV shows, live TV, and more available across 10,000 apps, the built-in Google TV easily allows users to access their favourite content without needing additional devices. Further, they can organise and select content using voice assistants like Google Assistant. It is ideal for family use, as it comes with integrated apps like Netflix, built-in speakers, and sound options like Dolby Atmos. The installation is also effortless. Force Motors partners with Zoho to power end-to-end digital transformation across its dealer networks

Pune, June 24, 2025: Force Motors Limited, a key automotive player and India’s largest van manufacturer, has announced a strategic partnership with Zoho Corporation to upgrade its customer experience and dealer management systems. This collaboration marks a major milestone in Project DigiForce, Force Motors’ digital transformation program aimed at driving innovation, improving productivity and enhancing customer satisfaction through class-leading technologies across the value chain.

As part of this initiative, Zoho’s Advanced Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Dealer Management System (DMS), along with a suite of 12 AI-powered front-office applications, will be deployed across Force Motors’ nationwide network. This integrated, cloud-based solution will replace legacy systems, bringing in cutting-edge capabilities to modernize marketing, sales, service, customer engagement, and internal collaboration. By streamlining dealer operations and creating a unified platform for teams, dealers, and customers, the new solution is set to significantly elevate the overall customer experience at every stage of engagement.

Force Motors operates a vast network of over 200 dealerships, 70 authorized service centers, and 30 parts centers across India, supported by international distributors in more than 25 countries. The new CRM-DMS solution will enable these dealer and distributor partners to operate more efficiently by enhancing sales and service productivity, improving customer satisfaction across every touchpoint and supporting more professional, data-driven business operations.

MSME Mahotsav 2025 Highlights MSMEs as Key to Dollar 30 Trillion Viksit Bharat Vision

New Delhi, June 24th, 2025: The upcoming MSME Mahotsav 2025 will bring together key voices from industry, government, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem to examine how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can navigate and benefit from digital transformation. Scheduled to be held at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi, the event will explore the theme, “Powering MSMEs through Technology for Growth.”

With MSMEs contributing around 30% to India’s GDP and 50% to total exports, the sector plays a pivotal role in the national economy. It also provides employment to over 250 million people. As India aims to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047, the development and digitization of the MSME sector remains a critical policy and industry priority.

Despite its potential, digitization continues to be a barrier for many MSMEs. NASSCOM data suggests that while tech-enabled MSMEs are increasing, 65% remain unaware of available digital tools, and over a third are hesitant to adopt new technologies. MSME Mahotsav 2025 will address these challenges through discussions on digital inclusion, access to technology, e-commerce, and financial innovation.
