Ziro Valley Hosts the Future of AI: Techno Billion AI Lab Inauguration Marks New Era of Learning
Kolkata, 11th March 2025: Some revolutions don’t begin in corporate boardrooms or tech parks. They begin in places where ambition meets opportunity. Ziro Valley, nestled in the heart of Arunachal Pradesh, near the China border, just became the starting point of one such revolution—the AI revolution.
Today, Techno Billion AI, backed by Techno India Group, officially inaugurated its first AI Lab in Ziro Valley—not in a metro city, not in a Silicon Valley-funded incubator, but in the rugged hills of Northeast India. This is where AI education is breaking new ground, ensuring that the next chapter of India’s technological progress is written not just by those in the big cities, but by every young mind with the hunger to learn and innovate.
The launch wasn’t just a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. It was a hands-on, high-energy AI Hackathon, where students worked on cutting-edge marketing strategies to spread AI awareness across the Northeast. The message was clear: AI is not the future—it is the present, and it belongs to all.

Techno India Group: Powering AI for Every Student
This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without Techno India Group, one of India’s largest educational conglomerates, which has backed the initiative as its chief sponsor and patron. At the center of it all is Meghdut RoyChowdhury—CIO and Executive Director of Techno India Group, and the Founder of Techno Billion AI.
“For too long, AI education has been limited to a privileged few. But the next AI pioneer could come from Ziro, from Siliguri, from Imphal. This lab is a statement: AI is for everyone, not just the elite,” said Meghdut RoyChowdhury.
And making sure that this vision translates into action, step by step, is Abhrajit Saha—Co- founder of Techno Billion AI, Chief of Staff to Meghdut RoyChowdhury, and the driving force behind the AI vertical at Techno India Group.
A graduate of IIT Kharagpur, Abhrajit had every opportunity to take a different path—perhaps a high-paying corporate job or a research role in a multinational firm. But he chose to serve the nation in a unique way—by ensuring that AI education and knowledge reach every corner of India, transforming young students into future tech leaders.
“We want to build a nation that doesn’t just consume technology but creates it. That’s why we are here—in the Northeast, in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities—to make AI a reality for students who otherwise wouldn’t have access,” said Abhrajit Saha.
Ms. Anuradha Chandran, Business Head of Techno Billion AI, also played a pivotal role in liaising with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that policymakers, educators, and industry leaders came together to make this vision a reality. Her relentless efforts in networking across the
Northeast have been instrumental in expanding the AI movement beyond its traditional boundaries.
And none of this would have been possible without the steadfast support of Robin Hibu, IPS and DG of Delhi Police, who has been a key enabler in bringing AI education to communities thatneed it the most.
The Bigger Vision: AILabs Across WB, East, and North east India
The Ziro Valley AI Lab is just the first step in a much larger nationwide expansion plan. Over the next 12-18 months, Techno Billion AI, in collaboration with Techno India Group, will launch AIlabs in:
Tier 2 & 3 cities around Kolkata, ensuring AI reaches students in semi-urban and rural areas Strategic locations around TIGPS(Techno India Group Public Schools)across West Bengal, Embedding Ail earning in the school curriculum
Siliguri & Darjeeling – Connecting AI education between Bengal and the Northeast Guwahati – A major hub for AI research and industry collaboration in Assam Shillong & Imphal – Strengthening AI initiatives in Meghalaya and Manipur Itanagar & Kohima – Expanding deeper into
Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland
The long- term vision? To make every Techno India institution an AI powerhouse. Schools,
colleges, and universities under Techno India Group will become centers of AI education, research, and real-world application. This is not just about education—it is about nation-building, about making sure India doesn’t just participate in the global AI race, but leads it.
Why This Matters
Fordecades,India’s technological advancements have been concentrated in metros—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune. The launch of the Techno Billion AI Lab in Ziro Valley disrupts this trend. It challenges the idea that great technological minds are only found in cities. It proves that with the right tools and the right mentors, talent can rise from anywhere.

Delhi-NCR Emerges as Housing Sales Leader with Rs 1 Lakh Crore in 2024, Overtaking Mumbai and Hyderabad
New Delhi, March 11, 2025: Delhi-NCR has pipped Mumbai and Hyderabad to emerge as the top selling housing market in 2024 owing to 66% growth in sales value in Gurugram alone. With this, Delhi-NCR has breached the Rs 1 lakh crore sales value threshold.
The total sales value of Delhi-NCR rose by 63% in 2024 to Rs 1.53 lakh crore while that of Mumbai stood at Rs 1.38 lakh crore, up 13% and Hyderabad at Rs 1.05 lakh crore, down 18%, according to a report by NSE-listed real estate data analytics firm PropEquity.
The total sales value of homes sold in 2023 in Delhi-NCR stood at Rs 94,143 crore, Mumbai at Rs 1.22 lakh crore and Hyderabad at Rs 1.28 lakh crore.
The total sales value of Gurugram, at Rs 64,314 crore in 2023, was nearly half of Hyderabad with the former surpassing the latter in 2024.
Samir Jasuja, Founder & CEO, PropEquity said: “Gurugram, with over Rs 1 lakh crore sales, alone accounted for over 66% of the total sales value in Delhi-NCR thereby helping it emerge on the top. In fact, the sales value of Gurugram is second only to Mumbai. Cities like Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Faridabad and New Delhi have also seen a substantial rise in sales value in 2024. Noida, however, saw a slight decline.”
“In Delhi-NCR, the weighted average sales price has gone up to Rs 12,469 per sq. ft. with absorption size of units rising to 2229 sq. ft. in 2024. More than half of the absorption has been in homes priced Rs 2 crore and above and a quarter in homes priced between Rs 1-2 crore.”
“Rising prices and demand buoyance in Delhi-NCR is due to the robust infrastructure development, growing corporate presence and ample employment opportunities as is evident from Delhi NCR’s rising dominance in office leasing. With the new government in place in Delhi, and MPD 2041 likely to see the light of the day, the real estate market will further see a surge with entry of new supply.”
“Hyderabad’s residential market witnessed a significant downturn in 2024 with new launches lowest since 2020 and absorption lowest since 2021. The supply and absorption have declined by 25% and 49% on Y-o-Y basis, respectively. As a result, the inventory overhang has increased from 17 months in CY’23 to 20 months in CY’24.”
The report added that with this feat, the share of homes sales value in Delhi-NCR rose from 16% in 2023 to 23% in 2024. The share of Mumbai in total sales value rose from 20% in 2023 to 21% in 2024 while that of Hyderabad declined from 21% in 2023 to 16% in 2024.

TGRTC is expected to register Rs 10,000 crore turnover next financial year: VC Sajjanar, VC & MD TGRTC. Sajjanar shared the historical transformation of TGRTC

Hyderabad, March 11, 2025:The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) organized a Conference on Navigating Corporate Failure and Digital Fraud: Pathways to Success at FTCCI Surana Auditorium, Federation House, Hyderabad on Monday evening
The program was organized to explore how good governance practices can help companies prevent fraud and corruption. It also covered the consequences of failing to do so.
Giving his opening remarks, Dr Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCCI, said the program was a platform for dialogues, learning, and collaboration to prevent digital fraud.
Naresh Chandra and Dr Tasneem Shariff, Chair and Co-chair of the Corporate Laws, IBC & ADR Committee set the tone for the meeting, and introduced speakers.
Sri V C Sajjanar, IPS, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation was the chief guest.
Addressing a 150-plus audience, Mr. Sajjanar said he was a hardcore police officer, then tasked to manage TGRTC as MD. I didn’t know business. When I took over, the Corporation was not doing well and it was loss-making. The total turnover of the corporation in September 2021, when he took over, was Rs 3800 crore. We turned it around now in four years. Today it is a billion-dollar company. The turnover next year is likely to reach INR 10,000 crore.
The historical transformation happened because of the passion, commitment, determination, and hard work of our 50,000 employees, he shared
This was also possible due to the strong government support, without which we couldn’t have navigated the scenario. You need to have strong internal controls and transparency. We have been paying TGRTC employees without defaulting salaries and paid salaries on the first of the month due to a bit of financial engineering, he shared
Speaking about digital frauds, Mr. Sajjanar said we have reached a stage, we can’t do without technology. We depend heavily on it. The rise of AI and Big Data also increased the scope of digital fraud. Digital Frauds have been rising at an alarming pace. The cybercriminals are exploiting the increasing reliance on online platforms to steal personal information, money, and disrupt businesses. Hence, digital frauds have to be boardroom priorities of all the corporate houses.
Sajjanar, a former top cop, suggested that AI-powered fraud detection must be used to analyze data and identify suspicious activity. Use Blockchain technology to secure financial transactions, which ensures tamper-proof and resistant to alteration. Training the staff on cybersecurity is important to prevent digital fraud, and focus on educating them about basic security practices. Digital fraud is no longer a business risk, it is a societal concern, Sajjanar said.
A.J. Jawad, Registrar of the International Arbitration & Mediation Centre (IAMC), Guest of honour, a seasoned advocate, Senior Mediator and Trainer said business and marriages have a similarity. In both cases we don’t anticipate trouble. The courts in India have 5 crore pending cases, to dispose of them we need 324 years, provided there are no more new cases added. Further, when the dispute gets locked, 1.5% to 2% of GDP is lost due to the delayed outcomes in the country. The only way out for this is mediation and arbitration. Don’t wait for judicial reforms. Mediate the deal before you seal the deal. Then, if there is any dispute that arises, mediation can be
FTCCI and IAMC signed a letter of support between the two organisations to spread knowledge and create awareness about the same.
Aruna Ravikumar, Journalist and Author, talked on Red Flag in detecting corporate frauds, be aware, be prepared. She spoke about MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) and Ponzi scheme
We believe the popular saying that an idea can change a life. But an idea can also destroy your business, she said.Answering a question, Aruna said fraud is not gender-based. Women want to get into men’s world. We see many women involved in digital fraud now. Though it is not gender specific, you need to be alert, use common sense, and don’t fall prey to easy money.
Chartered Accountant Sharath Kumar delved into Leadership Strategies for Navigating Fraud in Digital AI. AI-driven frauds are on the rise. Blind trust on it can be suicidal. AI is a double-edged weapon. He gave a lot of case studies of recent frauds and how many corporate executives fell prey to cyber cheaters. Digital frauds happen when human intelligence fails. Human observation and common sense are very important.
The father and son duo of Niloufer Cafe Mr. Babu Rao and his son Shashank Anumula, MD of ABR Cafe & Bakers Pvt Ltd spoke about The Silver Lining of Setbacks: Turning Failures into Strategic Advantage. They shared their success, challenges, and plans. The café, which had 30 people in 1978, has now risen to a 2000-employee café. We are the only café in the world to have 2000 employees with just five outlets. We have one lakh walk-ins into our cafes every day. Mr. Babu Rao shared that they were coming out with another outlet in Gachibowli in 40,000 sft on the 19th April.
