Steve Knight From Flypside Joins Hands With Dee MC & Smokey The Ghost To Spread Love Through Most High
Musical group Flipsyde made their wave with their OST ‘Someday’ in the movie Never Back Down. Since then it would not be wrong to say that the band has been immortalized as one of those groups widely known by the 90s kids around the world. India is no different in that case and the latest release by the band is a collaboration with two of the most prominent figures of the Indian hip hop community. Dee MC from Mumbai and Smokey the Ghost from Bangalore have achieved a full circle moment collaborating with Singer-Songwriter Steve Knight to create this one of a kind anthem titled ‘Most High’ that is set to release on August 22nd, 2024.
‘Most High’ as the title suggests radiates full of positive energy and pays ode to the highest form of self-love which can be found in an artists’ dedication towards their craft. In a world where the focus is more and more on outward achievements and external validation, this song is a gentle reminder to acknowledge all that is already done and the inner strength it has taken to get so far in our lives. It’s a celebration of being one with your creative flow and having utmost faith that every sliver of love and hope put together can bring light where there is darkness.
Produced by Ted Digitil, the song has a smooth positive vibe to it due to the reggae elements.
Steve opens up about what the inspiration was behind creating this tune and how this International collaboration actually took place. He mentioned, “For me ‘Most High’ was inspired by ‘One Love Bob Marley’ vibes. That love wins in the end and that love is the most powerful force in the universe. Smokey introduced me to Dee MC and I was excited to have her on the song! Looking forward to doing more songs together with the two!”

Over the last 25 years SRIVT worked with various organisations in the country who need materials, be it DRDO, CSIR, ISRO, Atomic Energy, multiple projects have been taken up and the results were highly optimistic. In fact in several instances the process used by SRIVT, was found to be much more efficient than the process followed in modern science. I request Mr A.B.S. Sastry and the research scientists attending this conference to identify the materials, work on it and produce them. Lot of academic institutions too off late are showing interest in Vedic sciences and we heard Prof Ramgopal Rao talking about BITS being keen to work on technologies from our heritage. In fact IIT Hyderabad has a Department of Heritage Sciences. These outcome from the Vedic Sciences can help this country to flourish. We should be in a position to produce the materials needed by this country, ensure we don’t import them anymore, rather we should be in a position to export the material produced by the indigenous processes, from our heritage, while simultaneously making the world green, clean and producing it in an inexpensive way. I am confident that ICON BHARAT will be in a position to bring about synergy between ancient sciences and technology with the modern sciences. I am optimistic of the delegates here being able to deliver specific outcomes and recommendations, we will submit those and convince the government with the outcomes which can make this country self-reliant.
Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao said, what Mr A.B.S. Sastry is doing is very fascinating and institutions like DRDO have utilised this material produced by Mr Sastry for certain strategic applications. It is an amazing kind of work. We need more people like him to bridge the ancient science with the modern science. I would be quite keen to collaborate with Mr Sastry at BITS, Pilani and explore and design the kind of courses we can offer, so that more and more people will be able to use this knowledge and do something for the benefit of the society. The exploring of the ancient science should become a national movement. Politicians talk big, but when it comes to funding such projects, not many are seen doing much, which is a big concern.
Dr A.B.S. Sastry said, what our Maharishis enunciated is very scientific and connected to nature. These Maharishis authored several technological grandhas based on Vedas. Vedas are universal scientific manuals. Such grandhas are the applied Vedic sciences authored by Rishis for the welfare of the mankind. In fact IIT Madras tested the material produced by the traditional methodology and concluded that the process I used ensured material with superior properties than the modern processes. That generated interest in the scientific community. We developed a nano zinc oxide based on a Sloka from herbal elements. We can actually say, Vedic sciences as the advanced sciences and not ancient sciences, purely based on the outcomes from Vedic sciences. We developed so many nano materials, that in IIT Madras I was known as Nano Sastry, because I produced a solution for every nano requirement of theirs.
M Srinivas Rao, CEO, T-HUB; said, Sastry garu is among the few people you meet, even if you meet only once, they will leave a lasting impression. Today there is immense interest in ancient Indian Sciences, some of it influenced by the nationalistic narrative which is building up. The work you are doing is truly amazing, overcoming the scepticism and ridicule you faced. There was lot of science in our heritage, but the challenge is, we haven’t learnt how to codify it. At T-HUB, we have an interesting startup here, Kushal Roy an young entrepreneur is doing some very interesting work in the area of spiritual tech, he is trying to build large language models to kind of predict the future.
Dr P.G. Rao, Organising Chairman, ICON Bharath, said, there are several questions that crop up in our mind, is there any science in Vedas? are homam or agnihotra simple rituals or is there some science in it which purifies the environment? Did our traditional science have knowledge on aeronautics? this conference will address several such questions, with eminent scientists sharing their knowledge. Yamuna Expressway Property Prices Soar: Flats Up 170%, Land Up 450% in 5 Years – Geetanjali Homestate
Greater Noida, 2nd september 2024 – Geetanjali Homestate, a leading real estate consultancy, has unveiled its latest report on property pricing trends along the Yamuna Expressway, highlighting significant growth in real estate values over the past five years. The report reveals a dramatic surge in property prices, with apartment rates escalating by 170% and land prices witnessing an astounding 450% growth in the last five years, marking the Yamuna Expressway as one of the most lucrative investment hubs in the Delhi-NCR region.
Year-on-Year Breakdown of Property Prices
The report reveals the modest beginnings of this price surge in 2019, where the average price for flats or apartments along the Yamuna Expressway ranged between Rs 2,800 – 3,000 per square foot, while land/plot prices hovered around Rs 1,200 – 1,300 per square foot. In 2020, despite the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a slight appreciation in prices, with apartments averaging between Rs 3,200 – 3,300 per square foot and land prices remaining stable at Rs 1,250 – 1,300 per square foot.
The real estate market along the Yamuna Expressway began to gain momentum in 2021, driven by the gradual return to normalcy and increased interest in suburban properties. Apartment prices rose to Rs 3,400 – 3,600 per square foot, while land prices saw a notable increase to Rs 2,000 – 2,200 per square foot. This period marked the beginning of a significant upward trajectory in property values, setting the stage for the boom in the subsequent years.
By 2022, the effects of improved infrastructure and the growing desirability of the Yamuna Expressway as a prime residential and commercial location became evident. Apartment prices surged further, reaching Rs 3,600 – 3,800 per square foot, while land prices nearly doubled to Rs 3,400 – 3,600 per square foot. This year was particularly crucial as it underscored the region’s emergence as a preferred destination for investors and homebuyers alike.
The property market along the Yamuna Expressway witnessed unprecedented growth in 2023. The average price for apartments skyrocketed to Rs 4,900 – 5,100 per square foot, while land prices soared to an impressive Rs 5,900 – 6,100 per square foot. This remarkable growth was largely attributed to several key developments, including the upcoming Jewar Airport, the expansion of the Noida International Airport, and enhanced connectivity through the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
As of 2024, the report highlights that apartment prices along the Yamuna Expressway have reached an average of Rs 7,900 – 8,100 per square foot, with land prices now averaging between Rs 6,900 – 7,100 per square foot. This year-on-year surge reflects a 170% increase in apartment prices and a staggering 450% growth in land prices over the past five years, making the Yamuna Expressway one of the fastest-growing real estate corridors in India.
Builder floor prices have also shown a robust increase, with a notable 35.6% rise in just the last year and a 43.5% increase over the past three years. These numbers underscore the growing demand for residential properties in this burgeoning region.
Sunil Sisodiya, Founder of Geetanjali Homestate, commented on the findings: “The remarkable price surge along the Yamuna Expressway can be attributed to several key factors. Marengo Asia Hospitals Gurugram Performs Pioneering Lumbar Disc Replacement for African Patient
Gurugram: Marengo Asia Hospitals Gurugram conducted a rare and unusual spine surgery to replace the lumbar disc of an international patient from Nigeria, Africa. *This is the first time such a surgical procedure has been conducted in the city of Gurgaon. Dr Rajesh Kumar Verma, Director Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement & Spine Surgery, Marengo Asia Hospitals Gurugram*, led the surgical procedure.
The patient, *Mr. Bello, a 28-year-old Nigerian national* who had been suffering from severe lower back and leg pain due to L5-S1 disc degeneration for many years, travelled to Gurgaon to get his disc not fixed but replaced. He had sought multiple opinions abroad and in India, most suggesting L5-S1 fusion. The L5- S1 refers to specific vertebrae in the spine, spanning from the end of lumbar to the sacral region.
When the patient consulted Marengo Asia Hospitals Gurugram, he was found to be a perfect candidate for Lumbar Disc Replacement as both he and Dr Verma wanted to avoid fusion as he is young. Lumbar spine fusion surgery in young patients increases stiffness in the back and chances of revision surgery in the future. As the first spine surgeon in Gurgaon to perform this procedure, the doctor and his team aimed to restore his mobility and relieve his pain without increasing any future chances of revision spine surgery.

Itc Hotels to Manage Madhya Pradesh’s Heritage Destination – lunera Ki Sarai in Mandu
New Delhi, 31st August 2024: ITC Hotels recently signed a management agreement with Bhopal based Lunera Castle Resort & Spa, for a landmark property under brand Welcomhotel in Mandu, Madhya Pradesh. Welcomhotel Mandu – the refreshed avatar of the heritage destination ‘Lunera ki Sarai’ pays tribute to the ancient fort city of Mandu celebrated for its architecture.
With this signing, ITC’s Hotel Group will have nearly 540 keys in Madhya Pradesh. This includes two operating WelcomHeritage properties in Pench, Pachmarhi and three Welcomhotels in pipeline at Jabalpur, Gwalior and Bhopal.
Welcomhotel Mandu will feature 94 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, meeting spaces, spa and swimming pool.
Mandu, also known as Mandav, is an ancient fort city in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Surrounded by stone walls dotted with darwazas (gateways), Mandu is known for its rich history, architectural marvels, and romantic legends, making it a popular destination for tourists, history buffs, art and design enthusiasts.
A short 2-hour drive from Indore, the erstwhile Lunera ki Sarai is set to emerge as a popular tourist destination.

Orchids The International School Celebrates Ganesh Utsav with Eco-Friendly Shado Mati Ganesh Idol Making Workshop
Pune, August 31, 2024: With the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Orchids The International School‘s Tathawade Campus in Pune brought together students from Grades 6 to 10 for a unique and creative experience – an Eco-friendly Shado Mati Ganesh Idol Making Workshop. This engaging session was designed to unlock the artistic potential of our young learners, while instilling valuable lessons in sustainability and environmental responsibility.
As the children immersed themselves in idol making with Shado Mati, a natural and biodegradable material, the students delighted in the process of creating charming and beautiful Ganeshas. With the guidance from skilled facilitators, they learned the art of eco-friendly clay modeling, shaping their own Ganesha idols symbolizing the message of hope, and harmony.
