RevSure.AI Closes $10 Million Seed Round Co-Led by Neotribe Ventures & Innovation Endeavors
India, June 13th, 2023 – RevSure, the AI-fueled Pipeline Acceleration company that provides unprecedented insight into pipeline health and how to prioritize marketing and sales investments, today announced it has expanded its seed funding to $10M with an additional $6M round. Neotribe Ventures and Innovation Endeavors co-led the seed round, with participation from Operator Collective and Correlation Ventures. Neotribe Partner Alex Salazar, who is the former founder and CEO of Stormpath (acquired by Okta), will join RevSure’s board of directors.
Today’s marketing leaders are under a tremendous amount of pressure during a stressful time of economic uncertainty. Scrutiny on predictable revenue growth and pipeline health has intensified and marketing teams are increasingly measured on their pipeline influence. Marketing teams are being asked to do more with less, but recent research found that 66% of marketing leaders don’t know where funnel leakage and conversion bottlenecks are happening in their pipelines, and 71% say they lack confidence in their ability to convert leads into sales.
RevSure has helped customers like BigID, Zeotap, and SnapLogic simply and accurately predict, generate, and accelerate their pipelines. Real-time, AI-powered insights identify bottlenecks and offer recommendations on where to prioritize efforts to maximize ROI, providing leaders with pipeline clarity unlike what they’ve ever had before.
“RevSure uncovers what’s happening in the marketing and sales funnel so companies know exactly what’s working, how much leakage is occurring, and where to focus resources to win more deals,” said Alex Salazar, Partner at Neotribe Ventures. “We’re thrilled to be leading the expansion of RevSure’s seed round as their ability to accurately predict pipeline value from all the leads marketing generates is creating an opportunity for them to become the de facto system of engagement for demand gen teams.”
The additional funding will allow RevSure to continue its mission of advancing the effectiveness of pipeline generation for B2B companies. Its key priorities are to deepen investments in product, engineering, and AI technology and resources, further scale customer acquisition, and double down on the company’s go-to-market strategy.
“Since its launch less than a year ago, we have been continuously impressed with RevSure’s team and its strong execution,” said Harpinder “Harpi” Singh, Partner at Innovation Endeavors. “RevSure’s strong engagement metrics indicate that it is becoming a must-have tool for CMOs and their marketing teams for predictive pipeline visibility.”
“The question that is top of mind for every marketing leader right now is: ‘Am I meeting my pipeline generation goals, and if not, what should I do about it?’ What sets RevSure apart is the unique combination of data normalization and predictive AI that allows CMOs and their teams to answer those questions faster than ever using a simple, action-oriented user interface,” said Haley Daiber Brannan, Investing Partner at Operator Collective. “It’s working, and the growing customer love RevSure has earned in such a short time speaks for itself.”
“Pipeline health needs to be on every go-to-market leader’s, CEO’s, and Board’s agenda – it’s the missing link in driving predictable & profitable revenue growth which is critical in the current economic climate,” said Deepinder Singh Dhingra, founder and CEO of RevSure. “Adding AI-based predictive insights into pipeline effectiveness and health will allow companies to focus on predictability for outcomes, acceleration to revenue and effectiveness or quality and efficiency.”

Tevva develops a four times more efficient regen braking system with ZF

London, 13 June 2023: British electric vehicle manufacturer Tevva has successfully completed development of the regenerative braking system on its 7.5t battery-electric truck. Part of this involved working with global Tier 1 supplier ZF to integrate its Electronic Brake System (EBS) for use in zero-emission Tevva electric trucks.
ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) is the world’s largest supplier to the commercial vehicle industry offering solutions for vehicle motion control, integrated safety, automated driving, and electric mobility. ZF worked with Tevva to adapt its EBS for deployment in the Tevva 7.5t battery electric vehicle – which uses a blend of regenerative and compressed air brakes to add an extra layer of safety and responsiveness for drivers.
Tevva’s engineers successfully met a range of stringent testing criteria for the company’s truck to receive ZF’s approval, working on fine-tuning the electric truck’s vehicle control unit (VCU) and enhance compatibility with the EBS. The result is a system that recuperates up to four times* more energy than a conventional compressed air brake system, optimising the range of the Tevva truck. Testing of the adapted system, which took place at the ZF test track in Jeversen, Germany, involved a variety of conditions, gradients and surface types.
Technological advancements allow a modern EBS system to control the blending of friction braking with the e-motor, reducing brake wear and tear. The system transfers the driver’s deceleration request electronically to all braking system components to shorten response time, balance brake forces and provide ease of braking and efficient brake management.
ZF’s Heiko Eggers, Head of Commercial Vehicle EMEA Application Engineering for Braking and ADAS, said: “Our broad product portfolio, including ZF’s standardised Electronic Braking System, enables faster time-to-market for new, innovative market players such as Tevva. Their commitment and agile engineering expertise allowed us to meet our stringent safety requirements and complete our project. We look forward to seeing the first Tevva trucks on the road.”
Tevva’s Uzair Jilani, Lead Engineer, Drive and Brake Systems, said: “We have worked hard to secure a ringing endorsement from arguably one of the world’s most significant Tier 1 suppliers. Working with ZF is a crucial step in the momentum we are building as a truck manufacturer. The system has been adapted for use with our regen system; when the brake pedal is pushed, most of the ‘braking’ is handled by regen, meaning that the drive system slows the vehicle down.
“The conventional braking system is still needed to bring the truck to a complete stop, but this double layer of safety is an excellent aid to more efficient driving. It also means that the hardware undergoes less strain to extend the braking system’s life in the long run.”
Tevva’s 7.5t battery-electric vehicle (BEV) has this year begun mass production at the company’s London facility. This will be followed by a 7.5t hydrogen-electric truck, which benefits from a hydrogen range-extender that enhances vehicle range to 354 miles (570 km). The Tevva BEV offers up to 140 miles (227 kilometres) from its 105-kWh battery on a single charge and is ideal for last-mile and urban delivery fleets.

Recruiting the best talent can be tricky; here’s how to improve your hiring process
In this ever-evolving business landscape, hiring the right, skilled, and talented workforce plays a vital role in scaling a business and taking the company to the next level. Strategic hiring is crucial to accomplishing the growth of any business. Thus, companies must improve their acquisition process with technology, better human resources management, and accurate job descriptions.
Hiring new employees is an inevitable part of a business, and it is more than just reviewing resumes and conducting interviews. Each time a company hires new talent, it makes a long-term investment in the candidate. In this case, recruiting mistakes like poorly crafted job descriptions or lack of communication can deter a qualified candidate from gaining employment or lead to hiring the wrong candidate.
However, with the right hiring process, organisations can recruit the right people for better productivity and lower attrition rates.
This article delves deeper into some tips to improve the hiring process and onboard the right candidates.
1. Write an accurate job description
A job description is a job applicant’s first interaction with an organisation. Employers must ensure that they write accurate and good job descriptions that reflect the organisation’s vision and the role that they are hiring for. A well-written job description will help sieve candidates who aren’t the right fit so that the hiring manager can focus on the best resumes to evaluate. To avoid confusion, the job description must include responsibilities, qualifications, salary expectations, and perks.
2. Identify the right skills for preferred positions
Before hiring a candidate, it is mandatory for the hiring manager to identify the specific needs of a preferred role and try to find someone who can fulfil those requirements. By recognising the exact skill sets required for a job, companies can hire the best talent who is specifically aligned with the company’s business goals and is a culture fit. Hiring managers must create a list of hiring objectives and seek inputs from team members to find a suitable candidate.
3. Build a talent database
Recruiters can create a database of talented candidates who can fill future vacancies. By creating a pool of candidates before a position opens, the hiring manager has ample time to engage with prospective candidates and stay in touch until there is an opening. This will reduce the time to hire when a suitable position opens up.
4. Leverage technology
With advancements in technology, hiring managers now use tools to eliminate bias and improve efficiency when recruiting candidates. With the use of artificial intelligence (AI), the entire selection process can be automated. Chatbots can improve engagement with potential candidates by spending additional time or resources. By adopting recruiting software, the tedious hiring tasks handled manually can be automated. The hiring software tracks every step of the candidate, which helps select the best candidate and streamline the hiring process. For instance, using ChatGPt can automate several HR tasks, ranging from recruitment to employee engagement and development. The software also provides analytics that gives a hiring manager insight into how their hiring process is performing and the scope of improvement.
5. Social media is a blessing
Hiring managers can use social media to find the right candidates and make connections with them in advance. Social platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others offer recruiters an insight into the candidate’s overall personality and how well they will fit into the company culture. The main factor of recruiting on social media is to cut through the noise and find the right talent. Social media is the best way to find and connect with passive candidates. For instance, LinkedIn is a directory of professionals organised by industry, company, job title and other categories.
To summarise
To address the cutthroat competition in the job market and hire the best talent, hiring managers must adopt an efficient recruitment process to attract and retain the most skilled candidates. Hiring the best candidates can be a daunting task, but the tips discussed in this article can be quite insightful for a hiring manager. Besides the aforementioned tips, hiring managers must emphasise hiring candidates who are an excellent fit for the company culture and share a similar vision for the business.

The Age of the Autonomous Enterprise is Coming, Says Research
India, June 13, 2023 – The majority of global decision makers say they plan to fully embrace the autonomous enterprise within the next 10 years, according to new research from Pegasystems Inc. (NASDAQ: PEGA), the low-code platform provider empowering the world’s leading enterprises to Build for Change®. The study, conducted by research firm Savanta and unveiled at PegaWorld iNspire, the company’s annual conference in Las Vegas, surveyed 600 business decision-makers worldwide on their understanding of the autonomous enterprise, their plans for implementation, and some of its drivers.
The autonomous enterprise is an organization that comprehensively applies AI and automation to engagement, servicing, and operations across the organization to operationalize agility and create a business that can become self-optimizing. The study found that 58% of respondents expect to define themselves as an autonomous enterprise within the next 10 years. With just 15% saying they feel they are already at this stage today, and 36% projecting they will reach this point five years from now, the upward curve of autonomous enterprise adoption is clear. Tellingly, three quarters (73%) of respondents said they already have some sort of plan to start becoming an autonomous enterprise. When asked what they expected their position to be 10 years from now, an overwhelming 96% said the same.
One of the leading drivers of this new age of self-optimizing technology is a growing understanding of issues caused by old, inefficient ways of using technology to solve one-off problems. These include:
No such thing as a ‘quick fix’: When asked what their primary technology investment strategy was, almost half (46%) of respondents pointed to either ‘quick fix’ technology solutions to resolve specific issues, or off-the-shelf software solutions that provide pre-packaged capabilities for specific applications. Forty percent admitted that such ‘quick fixes’ had resulted in operational inefficiencies within their organization, with more than one-third (35%) saying it has increased risk. Forty percent also cited their belief that such ‘band-aid’ solutions were quicker to implement as their rationale for using them, with 31% saying their options were limited because they must stick to an approved list of vendors. Only 4% of respondents said they do not invest in one-off, disconnected ‘band-aid’ technology solutions at all.
Increased costs: One-quarter of all respondents say they spend between 51 and 100% of their annual IT spend on maintaining solutions that are no longer fit for purpose. Forty-one percent say that investments in disconnected legacy systems have resulted in increased costs.
Where are our customers going?: More than one in three (36%) respondents say they are kept awake at night worrying that customers aren’t getting a good enough experience and that they risk losing them to a competitor. One quarter of respondents also pointed to concerns that siloed legacy technology, systems, and channels had already led to disjointed customer experiences (30%), poor customer service (26%), or loss of customers and revenue (26%).
Eighty-four percent of respondents agreed that unified platforms that connect systems and channels to automate, self-optimize, and align workflows and decisions to business strategy will be either ‘extremely’ or ‘very’ important to improve their operational efficiencies. With the vast majority (75%) also agreeing that AI will have a role to play in their business over the next five years – 40% say it will be ‘pivotal’ – the rise of the autonomous enterprise looks set to gather pace in the years ahead.
Quotes & Commentary:
“This study tells us unequivocally that the age of autonomous is not only coming – in many respects, it’s already here,” said Don Schuerman, chief technology officer, Pega. “Applying AI and automation to decisioning, operations, and servicing across the organization will create a major change in the mindset of how organizations operate and drive the rise of the autonomous enterprise in the coming years.
“In a new world that moves at the speed of AI, manual work, static decisioning, and band-aid solutions are holding back the legacy enterprises of today. The successful organizations of tomorrow will be autonomous enterprises that operationalize agility and focus, bringing people together to deliver hyper-personalized engagement, hyper-efficient operations, and seamless customer experiences. This requires a change in technology but also a change in mindset. As the speed of change increases, a self-optimizing autonomous business will be able to deliver the best-in-class experiences customers and employees demand and deserve.”
Notes
Pega surveyed 600 business decision makers worldwide on their views, understanding and plans for the autonomous enterprise. The results included responses from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, the Netherlands and Germany.
