Eureka Eklavya Festival: A Celebration of Creativity and Curiosity

Bengaluru, November 12, 2025: The campus of Eklavya School, Bengaluru, was transformed into a vibrant playground of creativity, curiosity, and connection on November 8, as the Eureka Eklavya Festival unfolded to an overwhelming response. In association with sponsors Basil, Zookeeper, Ikimono, The Baker’s Dozen and The Rameshwaram Café, the one-day festival brought together children (aged 2-10), parents, and educators for a day that redefined learning through experience, play and shared discovery.

Unlike a conventional school event, the festival felt like stepping into a living, breathing classroom -one without boundaries, where every corner invited exploration. As the day began, the campus pulsed with music, movement, and art, setting the tone for an atmosphere of collective joy. Children moved freely from one creative zone to another, exploring block printing, music, theatre, science, games, and storytelling at their own pace, while parents joined in as co-learners rather than spectators. Across the campus was an amusing blend of workshops, performances, and creative sessions that strengthened cognitive, emotional, and sensory development, allowing students to build focus, express freely, and collaborate meaningfully.

The main highlight of this one-of-a- kinda-kind fest was the interactive Prani Pet Sanctuary session supported by Basil, adding thoughtful product giveaways to make it more engaging. Children got to observe and gently interact with a range of animals like rabbits, birds, reptiles, and insects; learning firsthand about empathy and responsibility, while developing a deeper awareness of nature. Parents described it as “one of the most memorable and essentialessential experiences of early learning”, a moment where children’s fascination turned into understanding.

The Storytelling and Puppetry session, sponsored by Zookeeper, sparked imagination and emotional connection. The brand’s colourful themed merchandise giveaways added an extra layer of delight, as the children left clutching not just keepsakes, but stories they would retell at home. Meanwhile, Ikimono, which conducted the Fabric Painting Workshop, turned the art zone into a splash of colour, encouraging creativity, while also offering children clothing sets and vouchers.

The Rameshwaram Café also graciously supported the festival by providing nutritious meal boxes for parents and children – a gesture that reflects their ethos of serving with heart and adding joy to moments that matter.

From the exhilarating experience of the Drum Circle and the hands-on thrill of Passionfruit Pottery to the playful challenge of 2D to 3D drawing, the festival offered children multiple avenues to experiment, encouraging focus, strategy, and teamwork. Complementing these experiences, activities like the Tattoo Artist booth, Bubble Station, and the Nature Walk with Magnifying Glass ignited imagination, encouraged children to create and communicate, and brought the joy of learning through play. While each activity was met with enthusiastic response, the day remained a truly immersive event and once again reflected Eklavya’s living philosophy of experiential learning.

Adding to the excitement, Eklavya’s own educators also hosted experiential sessions like Fun with Science, String Games, Little Builders: Unit Blocks, and Melody Makers: Finger play with rhymes and songs. These familiar favourites helped in nurturing motor skills and problem-solving abilities, ensuring that children’s curiosity remains ever-growing.

Commenting on the festival, Siddarth Handa, Co-Founder of Eklavya Early Years and Eklavya School, Bengaluru, said, “Eureka Eklavya Festival is not just a celebration of learning; it is a reminder of why learning must be lived, not just taught. Seeing children lead their own discoveries, whether through art, science, music, play, or compassion – affirms our belief in nurturing critical thinking and problem-solving as lifelong skills. It was truly heartening to see the festival turn out to be a resounding triumph. It left a lasting impact on both children and parents, while highlighting how Eklavya continues to uphold its mission as a value-led institution. It was also inspiring to witness the joy, collaboration, and sense of community flourishing among the children throughout the day. Festivals like these continue to shape our learners into more independent, confident, empathetic, and expressive individuals, which is at the very heart of what Eklavya stands for.”

The Eureka Eklavya Festival 2025 closed on a memorable note, leaving families with transformative experiences of hands-on discovery and connection. Parents described the festival as both heartwarming and enriching, observing their children freely express themselves and lead their own learning journeys, where growth was celebrated over performance. Above all, it reaffirmed the school’s enduring commitment to creating environments where students don’t just learn about the world, but fully engage with it.
