Togai raises $3.1Mn seed funding to offer cutting-edge monetization stack for B2B companies
Chennai, India, 6th June 2023: Togai, the B2B SaaS metering and pricing platform, announced it has raised USD 3.1 million in a seed round, led by Together Fund. The fund round also saw participation from other investors like BoldCap, Core91, and illustrious angel investors, including Prasanna Shankar, the Co-Founder of Rippling. The funds will be used for product development and expanding into new geographies.
According to a McKinsey study, pricing has a profound impact on a company’s financial health, as even a 1% improvement in pricing can lead to over an 8% increase in profitability. However, businesses in the B2B market are currently facing increasing churn rates, highlighting the need for tailor-made pricing models. Customers are now actively seeking pricing flexibility and customization options, which puts pressure on companies to have complete autonomy over their pricing strategies. Addressing this market gap, Togai’s plug-and-play model supports pricing and finance teams in deploying their pricing strategy while integrating seamlessly with their existing quote-to-cash systems for effortless, ‘no-code’ pricing alterations.
Founded by Abhishek Rajagopal, Aravind Sriraman, and Tholkappiyan Velavan, Togai takes an innovative approach to crafting monetization tools for today’s dynamic billing and pricing landscape. The company is empowering businesses to make instantaneous and customized changes to pricing, thereby enabling them to remain competitive. The founder trio launched their product in April 2023 in beta to customers across dev tools, fintech, and conversational AI verticals. Togai enables businesses to roll out pricing changes within a matter of hours, circumventing the need for time-consuming engineering efforts. The model seamlessly integrates with existing tools (CPQ, CRM, Billing, Usage analytics, Revenue recognition), providing total visibility and ensuring synchronization across all systems and processes throughout any pricing update cycle.
Regarding the investment in Togai, Manav Garg, founding partner at Together Fund, mentioned, “As we navigate an AI-first world, ‘subscribers’ or ‘users’ are getting replaced by ‘software’ and ‘workflows’. Simple pay-as-you-go models, while straightforward, are centered around a cost-plus pricing strategy, often overlooking the full value your product offers to customers. This evolution challenges the conventional subscription and seat-based pricing models and necessitates a comprehensive reimagining of them. Togai is addressing this need by helping SaaS companies reconstruct their pricing models from the ground up.”
Speaking about Togai’s solutions, Abhishek Rajagopal, Co-Founder and CEO of Togai expresses, “With Togai, SaaS companies can rapidly test and implement their pricing strategies and can go live within days instead of months. We are poised to continue our journey in building end-to-end monetization solutions for this burgeoning segment and any B2B entity seeking to implement pricing changes to drive growth and profitability. Furthermore, we are excited to expand our reach to additional territories.”
Nikhil Nandagopal, Co-founder and CPO of Appsmith, an open-source dev tools company that uses Togai, said, “When we decided to launch usage-based pricing, we sought tools that provided flexibility to support different pricing models and the reliability of handling data at high volume. Togai’s solution-first approach accommodated our various pricing & billing scenarios, not just for today but also for the future, fast-tracking our time-to-market from months to mere days.”
The company’s B2B plug-and-play model is now open to public access. The company’s monetization marketplace, currently in beta, hosts over 10 apps and integrations, empowering users to visualize the flow, pinpoint leakages, and bridge the gaps in their entire quote-to-cash process, sans any engineering effort.

The Future of EV in making Green Indian

The future of EV in India is very promising and has the potential to make a significant impact on making India greener. The Indian government has been promoting EVs by launching various initiatives, schemes and policies to support EV adoption and manufacturing.
AMO Mobility
One of the major challenges in India is reducing carbon emissions from the transportation sector, which is a significant contributor to air pollution and climate change. Adoption of EVs can help to reduce these emissions and make India more environmentally friendly.
The EV industry has been expanding tremendously in recent years as a result of the government’s announcement of a number of incentives and subsidies to promote EVs, including tax exemptions, subsidies on charging infrastructure, and lower registration fees. Thanks to the government’s ambitious aim to turn India into a global powerhouse for EV manufacturing, electric vehicles have become the most well-liked green vehicles in the country.
India’s ambitious aspirations to lessen its carbon footprint and advance sustainable development, the country’s future use of green vehicles is an intriguing subject to investigate. A growing number of automakers are introducing new green vehicles, such as electric automobiles, hybrid vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell cars, in response to the Indian government’s drive towards electric mobility. By 2030, it is predicted that electric vehicles will outsell internal combustion engines.
AMU Leasing
The future is also promising for consumers, as the benefits of owning an EV are becoming increasingly apparent. The lower cost of fuel, reducing maintenance costs, and tax exemptions are some of the advantages of owning an EV. As the prices of EVs continue to fall, we can expect to see a significant increase in EV adoption.
However, to achieve the goal of a green India, a lot more needs to be done from the government’s end. Effective policies and schemes are required to encourage citizens to switch to EVs. The development of charging infrastructure across the country will also play a critical role in ensuring the seamless adoption of EVs.
Terra Motors
EVs can store energy and feed it back to the grid during periods of high demand thanks to vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology. This innovation has the potential to ease the burden on the electrical grid and give EV owners a new source of income. V2G technology is now being tested by a few Indian businesses, and it will likely become more widely used in the future. As a result, your charging car will supply and provide energy.
Mahindra Electric
Mahindra Electric, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, is one of the leading players in the Indian EV market. They have been actively involved in the development and manufacturing of electric vehicles in India. Mahindra Electric offers a range of electric vehicles, including the Mahindra eVerito sedan and the Mahindra e2o Plus hatchback. They have also been working on advanced technologies like battery swapping and connected EV solutions to enhance the overall EV ecosystem in India.
Tata Motors
Tata Motors, one of India’s largest automotive manufacturers, has been making significant strides in the EV segment. They have introduced the Tata Nexon EV, an all-electric SUV, which has gained popularity in the market. Tata Motors is also working on expanding its electric vehicle portfolio and has plans to launch more electric models in the coming years. They have partnered with various government agencies and private companies to develop charging infrastructure and promote EV adoption across the country.

Myths and Facts about Aligners & Braces

With the inputs of Dr. Amit Sachdeva, Chief Product Officer, LoveMySmile
Maintaining a healthy and confident smile is essential, as it speaks a lot about our personality. However, not everything turns out the way we plan them to be and that is why certain things including facial aesthetics require external attention. Many individuals seek respite through orthodontic treatments like aligners and braces to wear the perfect mood all day long, and it is truly a savior on that front. However, due to various misconceptions, many people feel apprehensive about using these orthodontic treatments. Let’s debunk some common myths and shed light on the facts to alleviate any concerns you may have! Here we go:
Myth 1: Braces or aligners are excruciatingly painful.
Fact: It’s natural to worry about discomfort, but rest assured, modern orthodontic appliances have come a long way. While you might experience some initial soreness or pressure, it is generally manageable and temporary. Your orthodontist will guide you on how to cope with any discomfort, and as you adjust to wearing aligners or braces, the discomfort diminishes.
Myth 2: Only teenagers can benefit from braces or aligners.
Fact: This myth couldn’t be further from the truth! Orthodontic treatments are suitable for people of all ages, including adults. It’s never too late to achieve a straight and healthy smile. In fact, adult orthodontic treatment has become increasingly popular, thanks to advancements in technology and the availability of discreet options.
Myth 3: Braces and aligners take years to show results.
Fact: While the duration of treatment varies depending on individual cases, significant progress can be observed within a few months. With regular check-ups and adhering to your orthodontist’s instructions, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your smile transforms. Aligners, in particular, often yield faster results compared to traditional braces.
Myth 4: Aligners are noticeable and impact speech.
Fact: Unlike traditional braces, aligners are nearly invisible and won’t draw unwanted attention. Crafted from clear and discreet materials, they seamlessly blend with your teeth. As for speech, any temporary changes are minor, and most people adapt quickly. Aligners provide a comfortable and convenient option for those seeking a discreet orthodontic treatment.
Myth 5: Aligners are expensive and not covered by insurance.
Fact: While orthodontic treatments can be an investment, the cost varies depending on factors such as case complexity and treatment duration. Many dental insurance plans provide coverage for orthodontics, including aligners and braces. It’s advisable to consult with your orthodontist and insurance provider to understand the financial aspects and potential coverage.
In conclusion, it’s crucial to distinguish between myths and facts when considering aligners and braces. By embracing the use of aligners to fix dental issues — one can improve upon their face dynamics and the aesthetics that constitute a perfect smile.

Robotic surgery aids kidney cancer patients

By Dr. Vikas Agarwal, Aakash Healthcare
Kidney cancer is one of the 10 most commonly diagnosed cancers. The risk of kidney cancer in men is 2x as compared to women. Old age, smoking, obesity, high blood pressure, long-term dialysis, and a family history of kidney cancer all can increase the risk for kidney cancer.
Some possible signs and symptoms of kidney cancer are blood in urine, low back pain, early fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, and unexplained fever.
Like every cancer, kidney cancer is also of many types and is detected early or in advanced stages. Nowadays ultrasound is a common investigation by which we can detect kidney cancer in an early stage. It helps in the differentiation of solid from fluid-filled cyst mass. Usually, kidney cancers are solid. To further confirm cancer or plan treatment, we advise a contrast CT scan which more clearly tells about kidney cancer types or helps in planning surgery.
There is a limited role of PET Scan or kidney biopsy in kidney cancer. If we discuss treatment, surgery is the mainstay of treatment. There is no role of radiotherapy in most kidney cancers.
It is important to note, in small kidney cancer < 4cm, we can save the kidney by removing only the tumor, called Partial Nephrectomy. This surgery can be done more precisely with Robotic technology. Robotic Partial Nephrectomy is recommended for complex, hilar tumors, and solitary kidney cancers. If the tumor is large, we can remove the whole kidney and the patient can survive with another kidney, living a normal life.
The benefits of Robotic surgery are less blood loss, less pain, early discharge from the hospital, and early return to normal activities. Kidney cancers are curable in early stages and life expectancy after successful surgery is good.
On this world kidney day, I wish you a healthy kidney and a healthy life.

Jayesh Ranjan launches new not-for-profit body for GREATER HYDERABAD – GREENER HYDERABAD on the eve of World Environment Day

Hyderabad, June 06, 2023: The Greater Hyderabad Parisara Foundation (GHPF), a not-for-profit organisation, devoted to transforming the ecology of the city and its surroundings into a greener and healthier metropolis, was launched by Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industry & Commerce, and IT, Government of Telangana, today.
The vision of the newly-launched GHPF is Greater Hyderabad, Greener Hyderabad.
GHPF, which is the Hyderabad chapter of a movement launched by a group of scientists, experts and other concerned citizens who have come together to ecologically transform Indian cities overwhelmed by extreme climate events, overflowing landfills with untreated solid wastes, depleting groundwater, encroached and polluted water bodies, toxic air quality and other environmental degradation. The group launched its Bengaluru chapter, Greater Bengaluru Parisara Foundation, in early 2022.
The launch event held on Monday on the eve of the World Environment Day at 360LIFE ‘Origin Towers at Madhapur’ in Hyderabad, India’s first and Asia’s only second such venture (Vertical Garden Twin Buildings) , was accompanied by the symbolic watering of the Vertical green forest of the apartment complex.
360 Life pioneers environmentally-conscious buildings to balance urban ecological health and the city’s development needs.
GHPF, the Hyderabad Chapter, aptly launched on Monday, the UN World Environment Day
Speaking on the occasion Mr Jayesh Ranjan said it is the perfect occasion to bring a new NGO to Hyderabad said to have done phenomenally well in Bangalore over a period of one year. Many cities are confronted with environmental challenges and Hyderabad is no exception. What you need to do is to collaborate with those institutions that are doing similar work. He said he would be ready to facilitate such collaborations and promised all the help.

I am happy to note that 360 Life has come forward to take responsibility for the restoration of the two-step well in the Osmania University campus. Over the last two years, 20 step-wells were restored in the city. He also appreciated 360 Life for coming out with the two tallest apartment buildings with vertical forests.
More and more people are moving to cities. Now villages have become old age homes. As a result, there is a tremendous amount of stress on urban infrastructure said Prakash Belwadi, Theatre, Film, Media personality, an activist and thought leader who is the founder of Greater Bangalore Parisara Foundation.
In the next 15 to 20 years about 250 to 300 million people will be migrating to urban areas. 18 million tonnes of garbage is produced across India every year. And this is going into landfills, which are polluting underground water. We need to use scientific data in urban planning. The newly launched NGO will provide scientifically reviewed data for urban planning. It will also help people to take informed decisions with the data. So that they will not buy properties in problematic areas. The NGO will work with Government and not against the government he said.
Speaking on the occasion Mr K Srikanth, Director of 360 Life said that they are a social enterprise with a commercial viability rather than a complete commercial enterprise. Builders have to be responsible for the well-being of the customers who reside in the residences they build. Today the scenario is under construction real estate projects produce more dust, air, noise pollution, and disturbance to the neighbours. Now you are here in this under-construction project without witnessing any of them he said.
We never celebrated New Year, but we have always celebrated World Environment Day. This is our 9th year of celebration. This day is an opportunity to showcase how dustfree is an under-construction site. We would like to see a better Hyderabad. Our goal for the newly formed Greater Hyderabad Parisara Foundation is to achieve Net Zero. Net Zero refers to the balance between the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) that’s produced and the amount that’s removed from the atmosphere, he said.
Towards this direction, very soon we will be launching our project and initiatives for Net Zero, where Shri G Ranjith Reddy, MP, Lok Sabha; Shri Arekapudi Gandhi, MLA, and Whip, Telangana Assembly have agreed to take up the implementation in one colony each in their respective constituencies, Srikanth informed.
Smt Kalpana Ramesh, Founder, of The Rain Water Project, speaking on the occasion said nearly 5000 tonnes of garbage (equivalent to the garbage, the entire city produces a day) was removed from 20 step-wells which were restored in the city in the last two years. She shared that Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Bollaram has reached out to her to restore two step wells in Rashtrapathi Nilayam in Bollaram. The GHPF has come to Hyderabad at such a time the city is ready to welcome you, she said.
Shri Nagesh Sidhanti, Landscape Engineer, Arboriculturist, and Urban Forestry Expert; Prof D Ravinder, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University; Shri ThilothamKolanu, Director, Andhra Pradesh Environmental Management Corporation, Shri Vinay Palaparthy, trade and industrial entrepreneur, and others also participated.
360LIFE, which takes pride in facilitating the launch of this new foundation, with an aim to further the environmentally-harmonious development of Greater Hyderabad, took the opportunity to showcase to the dignitaries the progress made with, its stunning vertical forest model apartments on World Environment Day. The towers are twin urban apartment buildings that are covered by vertical gardens, the first of its kind in the country to balance mother nature with development.
360LIFE, a leading developer in the city, with plans to expand in Cochin, Jaipur, Pune, Chennai, Kigali (Rwanda), and Dubai, is committed to spearheading a strategic shift towards sustainability in development projects.
The vision of 360 LIFE is aligned with that of the foundation’s belief that the transformation into ‘Greater Hyderabad, Greener Hyderabad’ can be driven only by joining forces with government entities, academic institutions, NGOs, and citizen groups, the speakers said.
BOX ITEM
STEPWELLS AT OSMANIA TO BE REVIVED
360LIFE, in keeping with its identity as a green infra company and its avowed ethos of seamlessly blending nature into its projects, is proud to announce its decision to adopt one such restoration effort underway in the city: Two beautiful heritage step wells in Osmania University. The project is being taken up by The Rainwater Project, the social start-up that earlier restored the now-famous Bansilalpet Stepwell.
360LIFE is committed to supporting projects around the environment and water conservation. This project will not only preserve heritage and architecture but also revive the charging of groundwater in the extended area around the stepwell and help create a vibrant public space in OU. The Osmania University step-wells, when restored, will augment the local groundwater levels, reduce urban flooding and serve to showcase a sterling example of traditional water conservation structures in the midst of our urban habitat.

Unlock the Power of Threat Intelligence to Safeguard Against Modern Day Cybersecurity Threats!

Cybersecurity is the need of the hour for every organisation considering that cyberthreats are constant wreckage found on the pathway. So how to deal with the constant threats and safeguard assets? Threat Intelligence is one such powerful tool used by the organizations to keep themselves protected from continuous and sophisticated attacks. For the uninitiated – Threat intelligence refers to the practice of collecting, analyzing and sharing information about potential or actual security threats to an organization’s systems, networks and data.
This information can include data about the tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) of attackers, malware indicators and vulnerabilities that may be exploited by cybercriminals.
So, what is the goal of having threat intelligence when there are many other cybersecurity options?
The goal of threat intelligence is to provide actionable information to security teams, enabling them to better understand the nature and severity of threats and respond proactively to protect their organization’s assets. By staying abreast of emerging threats and understanding the methods used by attackers, organizations can develop more effective security strategies and defenses, and ultimately reduce the risk of a successful cyberattack.
Here are some reasons why organizations need threat intelligence:
- Identify potential threats: Threat intelligence helps organizations identify potential threats and vulnerabilities that could be exploited by cybercriminals.
- Stay up-to-date: The cybersecurity landscape is constantly evolving, and threat intelligence helps organizations stay up-to-date with the latest threats and attack vectors.
- Early warning: Threat intelligence can provide early warning of potential attacks, giving organizations time to prepare and take necessary actions.
- Mitigate risk: By understanding the types of threats they face, organizations can take steps to mitigate risk and protect their assets, networks, and systems.
- Incident response: Threat intelligence can be used to improve incident response by providing relevant information to incident response teams, allowing them to quickly identify and respond to threats.
What is Eventus’ offering in Threat Intelligence Service?
Some might argue that threat intelligence poses several challenges including data overload, lack of standardization, human expertise, time sensitivity, cost and privacy concerns. Eventus, a leading global Managed Security Services provider, has launched a comprehensive Threat Intelligence Service which combines advanced technology with human expertise to mitigate these challenges.
“Eventus Threat Intelligence Service provides unparalleled insights into adversary’s behaviour, motives and attack tactics. Eventus Threat team monitors multiple threat intel sources then curates the threat intel, validates and attaches confidence values and creates behaviour-based mapping using MITRE and MBC techniques. The Threat team provides real-time feeds to the SOCaaS team where the IOCs are scanned through automated playbooks and behavioural rules added on Data Lake for retrospective and real-time detection. Thus, providing customers with proactive detection and protection,” says Manish Chaste, Co-Founder & CTO at Eventus.
Threat Intelligence feeds include sources like, open-source data feeds, commercial threat intelligence providers, government agencies, and industry groups. The data is typically analyzed using machine learning and other advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns and trends and to predict the likelihood and impact of future attacks. Threat intelligence is an essential component of any organization’s cybersecurity strategy, helping them to protect their assets and stay ahead of potential threats.

Best Brains has a large presence in west Toronto, with the brand being a popular choice for after school education in Brampton and Mississauga. Janaki agrees, citing her mother, a career teacher, as a big influence on her interest in the education industry. When asked why they chose the Best Brains brand to invest in, they explained, “We observe that the most of the existing learning centers that we have in our communities are focusing on concepts with repetitive methods. These methods are not enough for kids to compete the world. Instead, they need to focus on helping kids to learn concepts in different ways. We learned about the Best Brains curriculum, which is mainly focused on a non-repetitive approach which is a great tool for kids to learn new concepts.”
The 1,100 square foot facility, located conveniently on the corner of Taunton Rd. and Simcoe St., will provide instruction in Math and English, along with Coding and Abacus with a qualified staff selected by Lesendra and Janaki for their experience and effectiveness in teaching children. Scoot Boot Launches Global Mule Competition
Hobart, Australia, June 05, 2023: Scoot Boot, the world’s leading supplier of equine hoof boots is on the search for the world’s most loved mules.

Launching their global “I love my mule” competition, the company is prompting mule owners to share their love for the animal and their personality traits and talents.
Scoot Boot Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Annette Kaitinis said mules are bred for their toughness with greater stamina and sensory awareness when out on rides than many horse breeds.
“With this competition we want the general public to learn more about mules and to showcase love and attention for them, including good health and hoof care,” Ms. Kaitinis said.
“The welfare of equine breeds is at the core of our values here at Scoot Boot as we encourage owners to move away from traditional steel shoes and instead allow their animals to be barefoot, only using removable hoof boots when needed,” she said.
“This also applies to mules, who tend to have tougher hooves than horses, but do need protection, especially if they are traversing over rough, challenging, rocky terrain.”
Scoot Boot supplies innovative hoof boots to more than 85 countries across the world. Their world-leading product promotes hoof health for all equine breeds with durable, comfortable, open hoof boots that give great traction and protection.
Amongst their valued customers are mule owners and professional trail riders who inspired the Scoot Boot management team to expand their range of Enduro Boots that are great for mules and hooves with high heels. The new sizes 4 and 5 will be ready for release in the coming months.
The winning mules discovered in the “I love my mule” competition will be given a full free set of Scoot Boot hoof boots together with free sizing and fitting.
“We want to celebrate and share the diversity of mules wherever they are and in whatever activities from trail rides to weekend riding and hobbyist.
Any mule owner can enter the competition by uploading a photo of their mule and telling in 200 words or less what’s special about their mule. https://au.scootboots.com/pages/scoot-boot-mule
