Newcastle University announces scholarship schemes to extend support to international students

Newcastle University is pleased to extend its prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence and Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship schemes to international students.The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships will provide successful international applicants with up to 100% of tuition fee coverage, with the total amounts varying between individual schemes.
With an additional institutional investment of half a millionGBP, the funding underlines the University’s continued commitment to supporting and attracting the best and brightest students from across the world to study for their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Newcastle.
Professor Richard Davies, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, of Global and Sustainability, at Newcastle University, said: “Our students come from more than 170 countries around the world and contribute to the cultural and intellectual life of the university and the city, positively enriching the international experience for the whole community.
“In return, we are committed to providing them with excellent, research-led teaching delivered by dedicated and passionate teachers. Scholarships Schemes Outline:
The university is offering four scholarships under the scholarship schemes. These include:
• Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship (Undergraduate study): The university is offering 26 up to 50% tuition fee scholarships and two 100% tuition fee scholarships.
• Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship (Postgraduate study): The university offering 59 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (VCES) for outstanding international applicants who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies on an eligible programme.There are 57 up to 50% tuition fee scholarships and two 100% tuition fee scholarships.
• Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship (Undergraduate study):The University is offering 25 Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships for international applicants who apply to commence full-time undergraduate studies.There are 25 scholarships with£4,000 tuition fee awards.
• Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship (Postgraduate study):The University is offering 25 Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarships (VCGS) for £4,000 tuition fee awards for outstanding international applicants who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies.
Eligibility:
• Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship (Undergraduate study)& Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship (Undergraduate study): Indian applicants must hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year and already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent.

• Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship (Postgraduate study)& Vice-Chancellor’s Global Scholarship (Postgraduate study): Indian applicants must hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2024/25 academic year and already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second-class UK honours degree or above.

Bangalore, April 30, 2024 – Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), today, officially announced the opening of bookings and the price of New Grade G-AT of the Toyota Rumion along with reopening of E-CNG bookings. The newly launched G-AT variant is expected to further boost the market acceptance of the Rumion with its unmatched space and comfort, excellent fuel efficiency, stylish and premium exterior design.

The latest offering by TKM will be available at an attractive ex-showroom price of Rs. 13,00,000 with deliveries expected to commence from 5thMay onwards. Customers can book the vehicle at any of the authorized dealerships or online with a booking fee of Rs 11,000/-.

The lows had a distinct tightness, the mids enunciated the lifelike textures of vocals and instruments with remarkable precision, and the highs managed to retain their crispness without inducing listener fatigue. The stereo imaging and depth are also really remarkable, which has significantly simplified the process of instrument positioning through enhanced spatial cues,” Sanjeev explained.

“Most importantly, the KH 420 maintain good balance and detail at different volumes, which minimizes ear fatigue during long studio sessions. I have to say, the KH420s are a huge step-up, and have really made a difference in my mixing and mastering process,” he added.

Sanjeev shared his opinion about the seeming lack of awareness and understanding of sound quality, particularly within the Carnatic music scene in Chennai. But having an appreciation for the importance of community within such a niche industry, Sanjeev hopes that as Sonic Sanctum continues to grow, he can also build a strong community and foster a spirit of collaboration to help push the boundaries of music exploration. “My hope is that one day the music production in India can meet international standards.
