India’s Bloom Hotels sees about a 60% boost in revenue with AxisRooms
Bangalore, 05/01/2024: AxisRooms, a leading hotel distribution technology provider, said India’s Bloom Hotels has registered about a 60% spike in its revenue in 2023 vs 2022. The revenue growth is attributed to about 50% more online (OTA) sales via AxisRooms Channel Manager solution’s real-time distribution and Revenue Management system’s intelligent pricing capabilities.
With 47 properties spread across the width and breadth of India, Bloom Hotels has been providing exceptional service to its guests in line with its philosophy – a great room in the best location at a surprisingly affordable rate. It caters to both leisure and business travellers.
Without a Channel Manager, the Bloom Hotels management had difficulty updating rates and availability on OTAs, leading to inconsistency. Additionally, selling more rooms at the best rates to increase occupancy and revenue was a significant challenge as they didn’t have a Revenue Management System.
Speaking about their decision to adopt AxisRooms in 2017, Hemant Verma, Group Revenue Manager, Bloom Hotels, said, “Our objective was to drive online sales, primarily via OTAs. After a few rounds of careful deliberations, we found that AxisRooms Channel Manager fit all our requirements. The speed/efficiency of their Channel Manager tool and intuitiveness of their Revenue Management system were key factors in adopting them.”

The workshop, spanning 7 days, commenced on January 3, 2024 in Maharana Pratap Balika Inter College, was graced by distinguished chief guest, Dr. Gaurav Grover, SSP of Gorakhpur, while the second workshop conducted in Yogiraj Baba Gambhirnath Sevasharm saw the esteemed presence of Mr. Avneesh Awasthi Ji, Advisor to Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion. The workshop promises a blend of expertise and training by the skilled instructors from Singer Skill Centers, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for all participants.
This initiative will be implemented across four prominent colleges in Gorakhpur, featuring three batches at each location. In total, 12 batches are expected to provide training to more than 1150 women in the art of crafting and sewing. After the workshop, the women who have successfully completed the training will be given free Singer Sewing Machines by JK Urbanscape Developers. JK Urbanscape Developers have been working over the last few years towards empowering women and the training effort with Singer India, is in line with “Unnat Bharat Gram Abhiyan and Mission Shakti”.
Later this month, once the training is completed, Honorable CM, Shri Yogi Adityanathji will distribute Singer sewing machines to over 1150 women.
The 1150 trainees are expected to undertake an examination at the end of the training sessions and the top 3 winners will be rewarded with Singer Home Appliances. As an added incentive, all the 1150 students will be presented with INR 1000 voucher, which allows them to enroll in Singer India’s Live Virtual classes, further enriching their skills and helping them to fine tune training
