Steelage Utsavam’ campaign launched across 100 cities in India to promote BIS certified products for jewellers

Mangaluru, 11th Aug 2025: Gunnebo, a global leader in physical security solutions, has been serving the Indian customers for more than 90 years through prominent brands like Steelage and Chubbsafes. From August 1st to 14th the organization launched its flagship campaign, ‘Steelage Utsavam’ with the aim of spreading awareness about BIS standards as well as BIS certified safes, strong-room doors and vaults amongst jewellers. This campaign will cover more than 100 cities, making it one of the largest on-ground initiatives in the physical security solutions industry.
The aim of ‘Steelage Utsavam’ is to educate jewellers on the importance of using BIS-certified security products, and to help end-users choose the right safes, vaults and high-security locks for their jewellery outlets.
As part of the nationwide ‘Steelage Utsavam’ campaign, the event was held on 9 Aug in Mangaluru, supported by Gunnebo’s channel partner. The event featured live demonstrations, expert-led discussions, and interactive sessions to help jewellers understand the role of certified products in enhancing business security. To boost visibility and engagement, the activity was supported with on-ground brand activations, specially designed product vans, along with product showcase across brand stores in major cities.

GCCs Powering Economic Transformation: ACCA Convene Leadership Roundtable at GIFT City supportd by IFSCA
09th August 2025: ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), a globally recognised professional accountancy body hosted an exclusive leadership roundtable at GIFT City supported by International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), on Friday, August 8, 2025. The strategic dialogue brought together senior leaders from India’s top Global Capability Centres (GCCs), government stakeholders, and academia to explore how Gujarat is emerging as a vital player in the global GCC ecosystem.
The event in Ahmedabad attracted around 40 senior leaders, including top HR and finance heads from leading GCCs and other industries such as Welspun Transformation Services, Adani GCC, BNP Paribas, S&P Global, Kraft Heinz, Baroda Global Shared Services, KPMG, Cadila Pharma, Zydus, TCS, QX Global Group, Befree Global, and Pacific Group.

The report projects that GCCs will contribute 2% to India’s GDP and generate 2.8 million jobs by 2030. In FY24 alone, GCCs in India generated approximately $64.6 billion in export revenue, marking a significant 40% rise from the previous fiscal year.

Ice Make Refrigeration Reports Strong Revenue Growth in Q1 FY26; Strategic Investments to Drive Long-Term Expansion
Hyderabad, August 09, 2025: Ice Make Refrigeration Limited, a leading manufacturer of 50+ innovative cooling and refrigeration solutions, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 (Q1 FY26), demonstrating continued momentum in revenue growth despite temporary headwinds in profitability.
During the quarter, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹111.50 crore, registering a year-on-year growth of over 30 percent compared to ₹85.23 crore in Q1 FY25. Ice Make continues to maintain a sharp focus on operating efficiencies, cost optimization, and working capital discipline.
The Board of Directors recently approved a final dividend of ₹2.25 per equity share for FY25 and cleared the proposal to increase authorized capital, paving the way for future growth-oriented investments. The company is actively exploring strategic initiatives including capacity expansion, potential acquisitions, and the development of ESG-compliant and technology-driven cold chain solutions to cater to new-age industries and export markets.

Mumbai, 8 August 2025: The application of artificial intelligence (AI) to real estate customer profiling has fundamentally transformed how leading property brokerages leverage technology to understand and serve their customers. ANAROCK has analysed some of its customer intelligence data from 2020 to 2024 to reveal significant shifts in buyer demographics and preferences.
Aayush Puri, Head – ANAROCK Channel Partner & ANACITY, says, “Thanks to AI, it has become possible to create sophisticated ecosystems to analyse customer behaviour, predict purchasing patterns, and optimize sales strategies with unprecedented precision. Data from our proprietary AI tool ASTRA, which analyses consumer behaviour data from 2.8 million qualified leads via 74 different models, provides several interesting insights. For instance, there has been a gradual increase in homebuyers over 36 years of age, and a reduction in the 25-35 age group – with 36-40 years constituting the largest age group in 2024. We have also tracked budget range and unit configuration preferences, and conversion or days-to-booking timelines.”

Interestingly, luxury properties above INR 3 crores showed a reduction in conversion time to 16 days in 2024, indicating that high-value customers make decisions more quickly once engaged.

Buying Channels – The data shows a gradual decline in digital source (developer and property aggregator website) bookings over the last three years. On the other hand, bookings via channel partners – brokers and brokerages retained by developers to market their projects – gained higher prominence. In 2024, channel partners became particularly significant in the INR 50L-1Cr and above INR 3Cr segments.
Configuration Preferences – The analysis shows a growing preference for 3BHK units, which increased to 45% in 2024 from 38% in 2022, while 1BHK preferences declined significantly. This shift reflects changing lifestyle needs and the impact of remote work trends.
