Construction Robotics Gains Commercial Momentum in India as Pace Robotics Scales Deployment

Pace Robotics’ flagship product, Centa Painter, sees growing commercial adoption as the industry moves from technology showcases and pilots towards live-site deployment

BENGALURU, India, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Pace Robotics, India’s homegrown construction robotics company, is seeing growing commercial momentum for its flagship product, Centa Painter, as construction robotics in India begins to move beyond technology showcases, demonstrations and controlled pilots towards sustained deployment on live construction sites.

Within six months of commercialisation, they have already secured an order book of ₹5 crore, from India’s leading real estate developers, contractors, and paint brands. More orders are currently progressing towards closure as companies move from evaluating the technology to planning its deployment across projects.

The shift is significant in a market like India, where construction sites remain highly unstructured. The technology has to work within existing project workflows and workforce structures, handle task-specific nuances and quality requirements, and compete with some of the lowest labour costs globally to make commercial sense. Moving from successful demonstrations to sustained operations and repeat purchases therefore validates the commercial feasibility of construction robotics and represents a major milestone for the industry in India.

Pace Robotics began commercial deployment of Centa Painter in December 2025. Since then, its robots have moved into sustained operations on live construction sites. Over the past few months, more than 20 developers and construction companies have evaluated Centa Painter through live demonstrations, with several of these progressing to commercial discussions and orders including repeat purchases.

“What we are seeing now is different from the interest in construction robotics even a year ago,” said Srinivas Pai, Co-founder and CEO of Pace Robotics. “Companies are no longer coming only to see what a construction robot can do. They are evaluating where it fits into their projects, how it integrates with their existing workforce and what the operating model looks like. The shift from demonstrations and pilots to live deployments, repeat orders and discussions around scaling is an important change for the industry.”

Four years of R&D, on-site trials and pilots before commercial deployment

Centa Painter is Pace Robotics’ proprietary autonomous, multi-tasking robot for building finishes, performing putty application, sanding, primer and painting on walls and ceilings. The robot can execute these tasks at up to 10 times the speed of conventional manual methods, with up to 80% less manpower, delivering up to 3X cost savings while maintaining consistent quality of work.

The robot has been fully conceptualised, designed and developed in India, reaching commercial deployment after more than four years of R&D, site trials and pilots with leading developers and contractors. Pace says Centa Painter is the first and only multi-tasking robot for building finishes to be fully developed and commercialised in India.

Building robots for construction presents a fundamentally different challenge from automation in structured factories and warehouses. Construction environments change continuously, surfaces vary, obstacles move and robots have to adapt to the site rather than requiring the site to adapt to them.

“Construction sites are dynamic and unstructured. We therefore built Centa Painter to perceive its surroundings, identify work surfaces and obstacles, and dynamically plan its work rather than depend on a pre-scanned or perfectly prepared environment,” said Ayushmoy Roy, Co-founder and CTO of Pace Robotics. “The platform is also modular, allowing the same robot to perform multiple finishing processes.”

Centa Painter has been designed to be operated and supervised by existing construction workers rather than specialised robotics engineers, making it easier to integrate robots into existing construction teams. Today, Centa Painter robots deployed on commercial sites are operated and supervised by painters themselves, demonstrating how existing workers can transition from performing the task manually to operating and supervising robotic execution.

From proving robots to deploying them

The ₹5 crore order book, repeat purchases, sustained live-site operations, more than 20 industry evaluations and a growing pipeline represent a significant change from the technology showcases and pilots that have characterised much of construction robotics in India so far.

For Pace Robotics, the next phase is focused on expanding deployments with existing and new customers, scaling manufacturing and taking its construction robotics platform to more projects in India and Foreign markets.

“For a long time, the conversation was about whether robots could work in construction. Today, it’s about how to deploy them at scale,” said Pai.

About Pace Robotics

Founded by Ayushmoy Roy and Srinivas Pai, Pace Robotics has developed a proprietary and patented construction robotics platform in India. The company is now scaling manufacturing and commercial deployments in India while preparing for expansion into international markets.

Thirty US stocks, 14 ETFs and five USD-quoted foreign shares, tradable Monday to Sunday beyond exchange hours.

PORT LOUIS, Mauritius, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — STARTRADER has added 49 new 24/7 Stock and ETF CFDs across its MT5 servers, accessible Monday to Sunday, 00:00 to 24:00 (GMT+3 platform time), subject to scheduled maintenance. The foreign shares are listed in mainland China, Hong Kong and South Korea, extending continuous access to Asian names whose biggest news has historically landed while their home exchanges were closed.

From Korean Chipmakers to Leveraged Semiconductor ETFs: STARTRADER Launches 49 New 24/7 Stock and ETF CFDs

US additions include SK Hynix (SKHYUSD) and Super Micro Computer (SMCIUSD), both tied to AI memory and server demand, the trade pulling Korean supply-chain names alongside US megacaps. Eleven of the 14 ETFs are single-stock or sector leveraged products, including Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3X (SOXLUSD) and Direxion Daily Micron Bull 2X (MUUUSD).

The foreign shares reach markets harder to access directly: GigaDevice from the China A-share market, Pop Mart and Tencent from Hong Kong, and Samsung Electronics (SAMSUNGUSD) and Hyundai from South Korea. Samsung is the Korea-listed share, not a depositary receipt.

Because these instruments are quoted in USD while the underlying shares trade in other currencies, exchange-rate movements affect the position alongside share-price movements. Chinese A-shares also carry daily price limits; where an underlying reaches its limit or is suspended, pricing and execution on the corresponding CFD may be affected.

“We do not add symbols to look comprehensive. The test is whether a client would otherwise be left holding a view they have no way to act on, and across these 49, that test was easy to answer.” – Peter Karsten, CEO, STARTRADER.

Huawei Launches Fintelligent AI Solution to Help Global Financial Institutions Realize “Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence”

Built on the financial-grade open-source agent platform openJiuwen and open compute infrastructure, Huawei builds Agent Factory, Token Factory, and Data-Knowledge Factory to accelerate production-grade agent deployment at scale.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — During HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei hosted a Global Finance Summit. Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU, delivered a keynote titled “Owning Your AI, Advancing Agentic Banking,” presenting the proposition “Own Your AI, Own Your Intelligence” to global financial customers and launching the Huawei Fintelligent AI Solution worldwide.

The solution focuses on key challenges facing large-scale AI deployment in the global financial industry, including security, scalability, and sustainability. It helps financial institutions build a new capability system and, through three intelligent factories — Agent Factory, Token Factory, and Data-Knowledge Factory — continuously build and evolve their enterprise AI architecture, one-stop agent foundation, banking domain intelligence, and full-lifecycle Token operations, accelerating the transition to Agentic Finance.

Jason Cao said, “Competition in financial AI is shifting from model capability to enterprise-wide AI system capability. Every financial institution should own its AI and keep the choice and evolution of AI in its own hands. Truly owning your AI is not about using a particular model or deploying a few AI applications. It means being able to choose independently, operate securely, replicate at scale, and continuously evolve your AI capabilities. Through open architecture, platforms, and compute, Huawei will work with customers and partners to bring AI at scale into core business operations and accelerate the transition to Agentic Finance.”

Jason Cao, CEO of Huawei Digital Finance BU

Agent Factory scales AI into an enterprise-wide capability; Token Factory delivers a better price-performance ratio and sustainable full-lifecycle Token management; and Data-Knowledge Factory accumulates knowledge assets to enable financial institutions to build intelligence as an internal capability. Together, the three intelligent factories connect data, knowledge, Tokens, and agent capabilities.

Agent Factory focuses on helping banks build, run, and manage agents at scale, enabling AI capabilities to move from isolated applications to enterprise-wide intelligence while supporting the accumulation, reuse, and unified management of agent assets.

openJiuwen is an open-source agent platform designed for multi-agent collaboration, with enterprise-grade reliability and compute affinity. Built on a financial-grade production kernel, it provides three core capabilities: stable long-running operations, financial-grade components, and one-stop development and operations. openJiuwen provides a unified enterprise foundation, enabling financial institutions to build, run, manage, and govern agents on the same agent platform.

Huawei launched TokeNexus, a full-lifecycle Token operations solution covering Token planning, efficient production, intelligent scheduling, and global optimization, enabling unified operations and management across the entire Token lifecycle. Through end-to-end integrated governance, TokeNexus helps financial institutions scale AI while keeping costs controllable, performance reliable, and supply sustainable.

Huawei proposes the Data-Knowledge Factory, which transforms bank data, documents, and rules into knowledge that agents can understand, trust, and invoke, gradually accumulating it into each bank’s own Domain Intelligence.

At the summit, Huawei launched the Financial Agentic Data Solution. Centered on data and knowledge pipelines, the solution provides financial agents with high-quality data and knowledge, allowing high-value data and knowledge to flow continuously to agents. Building on this evolution, the Data-Knowledge Factory establishes a systematic upgrade path from data supply to knowledge supply.

Huawei’s AI Coding Solution adopts an ontology-centric approach to transform valuable business rules hidden in legacy-system code into reusable knowledge assets that AI can understand and use, accelerating core modernization.

At the summit, Huawei also joined representatives from banking, insurance, securities, and industry partners to unveil the 2026 Huawei Global Financial Lighthouse, highlighting nine lighthouse practices and providing reference cases for digital and intelligent transformation across the global financial industry.

Huawei has been deeply engaged in the financial industry for 16 years. To date, it has served more than 7,100 financial customers across over 80 countries and regions, including 54 of the world’s top 100 banks.

Soach Global Set for Nearly 25x Gains in Partial Exit from National Stock Exchange

Fund to sell 20% of its decade-old stake in NSE’s IPO; remaining 80% to be held as a long-term investment

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Soach Global Strategic Holdings Limited, Mauritius, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Soach Global Opportunities Fund (together, “Soach Global”), is part exiting from its decade-long investment in the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (“NSE”). The Fund is selling through the offer for sale in NSE’s initial public offering, which opened today.

Anubhav Dayal, Founder & Director, Soach Global Opportunities Fund

The Fund acquired 1,50,000 NSE equity shares from Industrial Finance Corporation of India Limited (IFCI) in January 2016 at ₹3,950 per share, aggregating ₹59.25 crore. Over the following decade, the holding multiplied to 82,50,000 shares through corporate actions, without any additional investment. Adjusted for these corporate actions, the Fund’s average acquisition cost is ₹71.8 per share.

The Fund is now selling 16,50,000 equity shares, which is 20% of its holding, at the IPO price band of ₹1,700 to ₹1,785 per share, valuing the sale at approximately ₹280 to ₹295 crore. This realises nearly five times the Fund’s entire original investment, a return of roughly 25x. The Fund will continue to hold 66,00,000 shares, 80% of its position, valued at approximately ₹1,120 to ₹1,180 crore at the price band.

“Bharat is a fast-growing economy with a large number of growth-aspiring youngsters who are quickly learning the risks and rewards of participating in capital markets. We are participating in the offer for sale and selling a partial stake of what we own because we would like to see a large number of the mass retail population hold some stake of NSE. As these retail investors buy small stakes in NSE, directly or indirectly through mutual funds, they will also benefit from the growth of NSE, the same way we have by buying our stake over ten years ago. Of India’s 1.4 billion people, only about 130 million are registered investors on NSE, and that is the opportunity,” said Anubhav Dayal, Founder & Director, Soach Global Opportunities Fund.

“In our country, we have a culture of buying gold at a festival or for a ceremony. Gold, once purchased by a family, is held for a long time, even generations. It is sold only when in desperate need of money. Retail buyers can compare shares of NSE with buying gold. As a multi-asset-class trading platform, NSE will book growth in revenue while operating at a fixed cost, most of it already incurred. It is a high-technology platform settling trades in nanoseconds, and a multi-asset-class exchange: equity, commodities, electricity futures, bond index futures and coal. As India develops, the list of tradable products will only increase, adding to revenues on a largely fixed cost base. This will reflect in its price per share post-listing. This is a one-way partial exit and we have no plans of re-entering,” he added.

About Anubhav Dayal

Anubhav has over 20 years of experience in banking and investment advisory. He started his career with HSBC Group in India, gaining experience across multiple areas of banking, before moving to Hong Kong to manage HSBC’s Non-Resident Indian business for Asia-Pacific. After over nine years with the HSBC Group, he joined Societe Generale Bank and Trust, Hong Kong, as Director, Marketing, a position he held for over five years.

Beyond his work with Soach Global, Anubhav is engaged with India’s capital market innovation ecosystem. He participated in Manthan Ideathon, organised by SEBI in association with NSE, BSE, NSDL, CDSL, NCDEX, MCX, Link Intime and other fintech companies, where his concept, the Virtual Food Grain Asset (VFGA), was a winning entry. He now plans to set up a VFGA exchange platform at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company (GIFT City), enabling teams of farmers to sell tokenised food grain assets to overseas buyers, with transparent global price discovery and foreign currency proceeds that add to India’s FX reserves.

Anubhav holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Financial Law from The University of Hong Kong, a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Delhi, a Professional Certificate in FinTech from The University of Hong Kong, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Amity Business School, NOIDA, and a B.Sc. (Statistics Honours) from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Supports Used PET Bottle Collection Drive at Mount Mary Festival 2026

The Mount Mary Fair, one of Mumbai’s most recognised cultural and community gatherings, attracts lakhs of devotees and visitors every year to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount in Bandra. GreenSweep aims to support responsible used PET bottle collection through a structured collection mechanism and sustained awareness efforts across the fair premises.

This drive combines designated collection infrastructure with on-ground awareness activities to support the responsible collection and recycling of used PET bottles during the fair. More than 20 volunteers have been deployed at key locations across the fair area, where they will encourage visitors and devotees to use designated collection points and participate in source-level segregation. The collected used PET bottles will be channelled through authorised recycling pathways, supporting responsible material management.

Complementing the collection effort, the initiative is leveraging pathnatya performances and nukkad nataks in Marathi and Hindi to take the message of responsible used PET bottle collection directly to devotees, visitors, and local residents. Through engaging performances at key locations across the fair, local artists will encourage community participation in the responsible collection and disposal of used PET bottles. The street plays are designed to make sustainability messages accessible and relatable, helping reinforce positive environmental practices among audiences of all age groups.

Speaking on the initiative, Komal Ghag Nadar, Secretary, Sangam Pratishthan, said,

“The Mount Mary Fair brings together people from diverse communities, making it an ideal platform to encourage responsible used PET bottle collection. Through GreenSweep, we are supporting on-ground efforts through volunteer mobilisation, awareness activities, and designated collection points. We are grateful to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for its support and to Hindustan Coca–Cola Beverages for entrusting us with the opportunity to implement this initiative on the ground. By combining collection infrastructure with community engagement, we hope to encourage greater participation in responsible used PET bottle collection and recycling practices during the fair.

The initiative also builds on HCCB’s ongoing collaboration with the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Maharashtra, and the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board under the Maha r-PET Abhiyaan. The programme promotes responsible collection and recycling of used PET bottles through public awareness, community engagement, and strengthened collection systems, encouraging greater citizen participation in recycling and supporting circularity for PET packaging across Maharashtra.

Huawei Releases an AIFW Technical White Paper to Facilitate Firewall Upgrade

SHANGHAI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — On September 17 at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei released the Huawei AIFW Technical White Paper during the session themed “Solidifying Network Security Foundations to Safeguard Industrial Intelligence Implementation.” The White Paper systematically presents the architectural concept and key technologies of next-generation AI firewalls (AIFW) tailored for the AI era. Richard Wu, President of the Security Product Domain of Huawei’s Data Communication Product Line, and Jeff Wang, President of Huawei Cyber Security & Privacy Dept, jointly attended the launch ceremony.

Huawei released the Huawei AIFW Technical White Paper.

From Rule-Driven to Intent-Aware: Reshaping Security Defense Logic

As LLMs, AI agents, and compute clusters scale across industries, the cyber threat landscape is fundamentally shifting. Confronted with emerging risks like prompt injection, sensitive data leakage, and compute misuse, traditional rule-matching systems fall short due to delayed rule updates and limited semantic understanding.

According to the White Paper, AIFW integrates AI-native hardware, LLMs, and intelligence and security knowledge bases to shift defense focus from traffic protection to behavior governance. Leveraging full-spectrum awareness, semantic understanding, risk reasoning, and intent recognition, AIFW accurately pinpoints AI-specific risks such as DGA domains, prompt injection, and unauthorized content exfiltration. This marks a transition from rule-driven to intelligence-driven and from static policies to policy autonomy to protect AI computing centers, enterprise AI agents, and LLM operations.

AI-Native Hardware Foundation: Building Native Security Resilience with High Reliability

The White Paper details the AIFW’s native hardware architecture. Leveraging hardware-software synergy, performance across post-quantum cryptography, rule matching, and AI inference achieves order-of-magnitude improvements. Featuring 99.999% carrier-grade reliability, the product utilizes hardware decoupling, software isolation, and an engine-level root of trust to deliver robust survivability and rapid recovery. By preventing vulnerability exploitation and establishing native security immunity, it ensures uninterrupted core operations during extreme network attacks or failures.

Policy Autonomy and Intelligent Operations: Advancing Toward Human-Like Closed-Loop Defense

Addressing traditional security operation pain points—such as outdated rules, insufficient synergy, and complex management—AIFW achieves policy autonomy through unified security semantics and intelligent reasoning. The AIFW automatically identifies and remediates policy gaps and dynamically optimizes policies alongside service shifts. This establishes a human-like closed loop across awareness, decision-making, and response, significantly easing the operational burden on enterprises.

Moving forward, Huawei will continue collaborating with customers and partners to build an intelligent, efficient, autonomous, and trustworthy next-generation network security ecosystem.
