KKFI Members Celebrate Recognition at TOISA-2024 with CM Yogi Adityanath’s Blessings

Delhi 25 Feb 2025: Four members of the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) – Nirmala Bhati, Prateek Waikar, Aakash Balyan, and M.S. Tyagi (General Secretary, KKFI) – were honored at the Times of India Sports Awards 2024 (TOISA-2024), felicitated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The event, organized in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Government, recognized outstanding contributions across various sports.

 Speaking at the ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath highlighted the importance of investing in sports, stating, “We strongly believe that investment in sports will never go to waste. It will give constructive energy for nation building.”

 Sudhanshu Mittal, President of the Kho Kho Federation of India, expressed his appreciation for the recognition of Kho Kho athletes, saying, “This honour reflects the growing prominence of Kho Kho in India’s sporting landscape. It is encouraging to see traditional sports getting the acknowledgement they deserve.”
