Zomato’s New Women’s Riding Center in Mumbai Aims to Improve Access and Opportunities for Female Riders
Mumbai, Thursday, March 10th, 2025:
- On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, Dr. Bhushan Gagrani, I.A.S., Municipal Commissioner of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), inaugurated Zomato’s first ‘Women’s Riding Center’ in Mumbai.
- These centers aim to enhance women’s mobility and access to livelihood opportunities.
- Zomato will facilitate these trainings through physical centers in various cities, including Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
- This initiative is part of Zomato’s livelihood program for women, aimed at breaking gender barriers and empowering them by providing the skills and opportunities necessary to succeed in the logistics sector. The goal is to facilitate training for 10,000 women for roles within Zomato-affiliated companies.
