NETSCOUT Helps Make Zero Trust Architectures More Achievable
Bengaluru, July 18, 2025 – NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., a leading provider of observability, AIOps, cybersecurity, and DDoS attack protection solutions, today announced how its solutions align with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) initiatives designed to help U.S. federal agencies adopt standards and best practices tied to zero-trust security frameworks that aim to protect data and resources across hybrid environments with high-availability needs.
Ever since NIST published NIST SP 800-207 in 2020, setting forth Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) as a means to combat both internal and external threats, the adoption of ZTA has accelerated, driven by a risk-based approach to cybersecurity. However, even NIST has acknowledged that building and implementing ZTA is a complex undertaking.
NETSCOUT’s Omnis Network Security Solution enables all five key steps to ZTA maturity, including: identifying and continuously monitoring all critical services, mapping all transaction flows across an organization’s entire digital infrastructure, verifying that micro perimeters are behaving as expected and detecting when a perimeter has been crossed, providing metadata and layer 7 visibility into all applications, and providing visibility throughout the dwell time of an incident with full context to restore normal operation with the shortest downtime.
“We’re proud to collaborate with trusted technology leaders across our robust partner ecosystem to deliver mission-ready solutions,” said Chris Wilkinson, executive vice president of sales at Four Inc., a leading public sector IT distributor. “NETSCOUT’s proven ability to strengthen Zero Trust Architectures and accelerate adoption—securely, efficiently, and at scale—makes them a critical pillar of our cybersecurity strategy for both DoD and civilian agencies in addition to SLED environments.”
“As the U.S. federal government actively modernizes its IT infrastructure, the need for Zero Trust Architecture to strengthen security postures becomes increasingly critical to protect sensitive information from the rise in cyberattacks,” said Karl Schaub, chief solutions architect, NETSCOUT. “We have established trusted relationships with federal agencies to address their observability and cybersecurity needs by embracing a zero-trust approach and working collaboratively with our partners to deliver robust and highly scalable solutions.”
NETSCOUT’s Omnis Cyber Intelligence, a key component of the Omnis Network Security solution and FIPS and Common Criteria certified, helps government agencies achieve zero-trust maturity through a highly scalable and cost-effective network detection and response (NDR) solution. The solution provides comprehensive network visibility into north-south and east-west traffic, enhances threat detection and investigation workflows, improves collaboration between NetOps and SecOps, and enables faster incident detection and response.
Omnis Cyber Intelligence’s Adaptive Threat Analytics continuously captures and stores all metadata and packets, independent of detected threats, and features seamless bi-directional integration with SIEM/SOAR/EDR/XDR platforms. This enables security teams to investigate alerts or validate zero-trust policies, thereby reducing response times and cybersecurity risks. The solution is fully integrated with other cybersecurity and observability solutions from Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, ServiceNow, VMware, and others.

As part of the process, students undertook psychometric assessments to identify their strengths and areas for growth. These insights form the basis of their individual Parivartan Action Plan, which guides a student in building key competencies aligned with their long-term goals. The orientation also included modules on social media conduct, deep reflective learning through curated reading resources, team-building activities, and yoga.
Dr. Raman Ramachandran, Director, said, “At K J Somaiya Institute of Management, we’re delighted to welcome a diverse ahttps://bizdevelopmentnews.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=10048&action=editnd talented cohort from across the country. Through a carefully structured journey of self-discovery, experiential learning, and mentorship, we aim to prepare our students not just for their first job, but for a lifetime of meaningful leadership. It is especially encouraging to see greater regional, academic, and gender diversity in this year’s batch. We’re looking forward to being a part of their journeys as they grow, lead and create lasting impact.”
With transformation at its core, the institute empowers students to become leaders who not only succeed in the world of business but also contribute meaningfully to society.

This Friday: Screams, Smiles & Spirit at PVR INOX
I Know What You Did Last Summer. Smurfs. Saiyaara. Tanvi the Great. Sarbala Ji. Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 3. Junior. Janaki v/s State of Kerala. Nintama Rantaro. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Big emotions deserve a big screen, and this weekend delivers just that. From horror revivals and animated joyrides to courtroom drama and biopic comebacks, these are stories that demand to be felt with an audience.
I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER
They thought the past was buried. But some secrets don’t stay dead. With original stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. returning, a new generation gets pulled into a nightmare that never really ended. A fresh chapter in horror with shadowy corners, flickering lights, and the unease of something (or someone) lurking close. Director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson heightens the suspense while keeping the franchise’s legacy intact. It’s moody, violent, and atmospheric in all the right ways. The tension builds with every scene, keeping you guessing till the final breath. If you’re a fan of high-stakes horror with a nostalgic twist, this one’s a must-watch. And in 4DX, even your heartbeat won’t be safe.
SMURFS
Rihanna lends her voice to Smurfette in this vibrant new musical chapter that brings the tiny blue heroes into a big-screen world full of rhythm, colour, and heart. When Papa Smurf is kidnapped, Smurfette leads a daring rescue mission through magical terrain, finding herself along the way. With infectious songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and a message about courage and community, this film is a joyful ride for all ages. It’s a visual treat that brings Smurf Village to life like never before. PVR’s immersive formats enhance every glittery spell and cartoon bounce, making it a visually spectacular family outing. It’s pure, blue-hearted joy.
SAIYAARA
Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara is rooted in longing, silence, and song. Ahaan Pandey and Aneet Padda make their debut as lovers separated by distance, time, and the weight of what was left unsaid. Set against a moody backdrop of city lights and missed chances, the film traces their individual journeys to healing, and the memories that refuse to fade. With a soundtrack that aches in all the right places and visuals that stir something deep, this one’s for the romantics. Suri crafts a world where heartbreak echoes in every change, and the smallest gestures carry the loudest meaning. For those who’ve loved deeply and lost louder, this story will stay long after the credits roll.
TANVI THE GREAT
A daughter’s promise. A father’s dream. Tanvi the Great follows a neurodivergent girl’s extraordinary journey to the Siachen Glacier to honour her Army father’s legacy. Directed by Anupam Kher, the film balances emotional intimacy with breathtaking scale, capturing both the struggle and serenity of her mission. With moving performances from Shubhangi Dutt, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Jackie Shroff, the film explores identity, resilience, and inner strength. It’s as much about the journey within as it is about the climb itself. With sweeping cinematography and a moving musical background, the film leaves you both uplifted and awed.
SARBALA JI
A wedding, a rivalry, and a whole lot of confusion, Sarbala Ji brings together Sargun Mehta, Gippy Grewal and Ammy Virk in a Punjabi comedy full of chaos and heart. When two families collide in the lead-up to a wedding, friendships are tested, alliances form, and love gets tangled in tradition. With lively songs, one-liners, and the charm of Punjab woven into every scene, this is a crowd-pleaser that’s best enjoyed with friends and family. It’s a full-on celebration of culture, community, and good old-fashioned family drama, with plenty of laughs along the way. The kind of film where dhol meets heartbeats.
YE RE YE RE PAISA 3
The madness is back, and louder than ever! Ye Re Ye Re Paisa 3 brings back the fan-favourite squad of hustlers for another round of mistaken bags, wild disguises, and plans that spiral hilariously out of control. Sanjay Narvekar, Siddharth Jadhav, Umesh Kamat, and Tejaswini Pandit bring energy and chaos to this new adventure, where nothing goes as planned and every laugh lands harder with a theatre full of people. Director Sanjay Jadhav keeps things fast, fun, and predictable, just the way this wild ride needs to be. A perfect pick-me-up for the weekend that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and doesn’t need to.
JUNIOR
Some questions about your past change your future. Junior is an epic drama that follows a young man uncovering his father’s untold story. What starts as a search becomes a journey through memories, lost letters, and lives never lived. With Genelia Deshmukh and Sreeleela anchoring the emotional arc, and visuals by KK Senthil Kumar adding grandeur, the film merges nostalgia with discovery. The past and present blur as the protagonist pieces together not just the father’s identity, but his own. Following themes of family, forgiveness, and fate, it’s a reflective, resonant tale made for cinemas.
JANAKI V/S STATE OF KERALA
Janaki v/s State of Kerala is a gripping legal drama that puts one woman’s fight for justice at the centre of the frame. Anupama Parameswaran delivers a performance layered with restraint and emotional power, while Suresh Gopi stands tall as the lawyer whose presence commands every scene. Director Pravin Narayanan crafts a world where power is unchecked, empathy is rare, and the truth is a battleground. The courtroom sequences unfold with the tension of a thriller and the weight of lived reality. This isn’t just Janaki’s story, it’s a voice for those who’ve been silenced too long. Unflinching, powerful, and made for the big screen.
NINTAMA RANTARO: INVINCIBLE MASTER OF THE DOKUTAKE NINJA
The ninjas of our childhood are back, and they’re in for their biggest test yet. When their beloved teacher goes missing after a mysterious duel, Rantaro and his friends must step up, face a clever new rival, and bring him home. What follows is a whirlwind of tricks, traps, and laugh-out-loud moments, all rooted in a story about courage, friendship, and never backing down. With its classic hand-drawn charm and fast-paced fun, this Japanese anime adventure is a treat for fans old and new. Shown in original Japanese with English subtitles, it’s a rare big-screen release that stays true to its spirit while delivering pure joy. For families, fans, and anyone who grew up on ninja dreams, this one’s not to be missed.
BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG (RE-RELEASE)
Some stories never slow down. Farhan Akhtar’s unforgettable portrayal of Milkha Singh returns to the big screen, reminding us of what it means to rise, run, and rise again. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s biopic still impresses with its scale and soul, tracing Milkha’s journey from Partition’s horrors to Olympic greatness. With songs that stay with you, scenes that still push you to the edge of your seat, and a spirit that hasn’t aged, this re-release is a cinematic celebration of courage. The emotions still hit like the first time. Witness it again, this time, with the collective cheer of the audience around you.
NIKITA ROY
Some darkness doesn’t stay buried. Nikita Roy pulls you into a world where faith, fear, and the unexplained collide. Sonakshi Sinha leads the charge in this gripping psychological thriller, playing a woman caught in the web of a spiritual healer whose power runs deeper than belief. Directed by Kussh S Sinha, with Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal adding gravitas, the film keeps you guessing till the very end. Secrets unfold, tension builds, and reality blurs into something far more sinister. It’s a chilling dive into the unknown—one that lingers long after the credits roll.
THIS FRIDAY. DON’T STREAM IT. FEEL IT.
Only at PVR INOX.

Exporters can now hand-carry jewellery as GJEPC Initiated Facilitation Centre Opens at Mumbai Airport
National, 17th July 2025: The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), in collaboration with Mumbai Customs, formally inaugurated the Jewellery Hand Carriage Facilitation Centre at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA), Terminal 2. The facilitation centre was inaugurated by Shri Surjit Bhujbal, Member Customs, CBIC, in the presence of Smt. Prachi Saroop, Principal Chief Commissioner, Shri Alok Jha, Principal Commissioner and other Customs officials. Also present were Shri Dnyaneshwar Patil, Development Commissioner, SEEPZ , and the leadership team of GJEPC, including Shri Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, Shri Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman, Smt Khushboo Ranawat, Regional Chairman (West), Shri Ajesh Mehta, Convener, Diamond Panel, Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, Shri Mehul Shah, Vice President, BDB.
The launch of the Hand Carriage Facilitation Centre at Mumbai Airport has been the result of GJEPC’s persistent advocacy and groundwork. Recognising the immense potential of hand carriage for boosting gem and jewellery exports—especially from Mumbai, which typically accounts for nearly 65–70% of the country’s exports—GJEPC proactively engaged with the Government. Anticipating future clearance, the Council went a step ahead by securing a dedicated space at the Mumbai airport on a rental basis and fully equipping it in advance. With the premises now notified as a Customs area with Bharat Diamond Bourse appointed as a custodian, the Centre is fully operational—ready to facilitate round-the-clock hand carriage exports. This initiative is a testament to GJEPC’s vision, planning, and continuous coordination with government agencies to strengthen export infrastructure. Based on this initiative all types of exports and imports of jewellery through hand-carriage mode can now take place from Mumbai Airport.
In FY 2024-25, gem and jewellery exports from the Western Region (Mumbai Port) totalled US$ 19,653.24 million, accounting for approximately 68% of India’s total gross gem and jewellery exports during the year.
The new dedicated facility is aimed at streamlining export procedures for high-value gem and jewellery shipments carried by hand, bringing greater transparency, faster clearance, and enhanced ease of doing business for exporters.
Shri Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC, commented, “The inauguration of the Jewellery Hand Carriage Facilitation Centre at Mumbai Airport is a milestone in our ongoing efforts to boost ease of doing business for exporter members. Alongside the e-commerce export channel, hand carriage will prove especially beneficial for MSMEs and high-value shipments, especially to FTA partner nations such as UAE under CEPA, Australia under ECTA and UK FTA. It offers a faster, cost-effective, and more agile way to service international orders. We thank Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, Mumbai Customs, Bharat Diamond Bourse and Mumbai Airport International Airport Ltd. for their constant support to achieve the unique milestone.”
Shri Dnyaneshwar B. Patil, IAS, Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ who was present at the occasion express “The inauguration of the Jewellery Hand Carriage Facilitation Centre at Mumbai Airport is a timely and impactful initiative that will greatly benefit SEEPZ-based exporters. With SEEPZ contributing a significant share (around 13%) to India’s gem and jewellery exports, the availability of a dedicated hand carriage facility just minutes away will enable faster clearances, reduce logistical hurdles, and provide greater flexibility for companies handling high-value, urgent shipments. I commend GJEPC and Mumbai Customs for their collaborative efforts in enhancing the export ecosystem and making it more responsive to industry needs.”
With nearly two-thirds of India’s gem and jewellery exports routed through Mumbai, the centre marks a major milestone in export infrastructure. The new facilitation centre will serve as a single-window facility supported by Mumbai Customs, CISF, police, and airport authorities.
Personal carriage of gem and jewellery is permitted through select airports as specified in the Foreign Trade Policy. For exports, the facility is allowed at nine locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. For imports, personal carriage is permitted at seven locations: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. At present, the personal hand carriage facility is operational in Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Delhi.
The Council noted that this initiative is part of a broader rollout across nine key centres in India, designed to strengthen infrastructure for the gem and jewellery export sector.
Shri Shaunak Parikh, Vice Chairman, GJEPC, noted, “The launch of the Hand Carriage Facilitation Centre for gems and jewellery at Mumbai Airport is a long-awaited step that will unlock immense value for Indian exporters. It brings speed, safety, and flexibility—crucial elements for high-value gem and jewellery exports. This initiative will especially benefit MSMEs and empower them to meet urgent global demand efficiently. We thank Mumbai Customs and all stakeholders for making this vision a reality.”
This initiative reflects GJEPC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening export infrastructure and aligning with the Government’s vision of ease of doing business. By enabling faster, more secure, and cost-effective shipments, the Council is paving the way for India to reinforce its position as a global hub for gem and jewellery exports.

V-Rich Launches Clean Snacking Drive in Hyderabad Schools
V-Rich Launches Clean Snacking Movement in Hyderabad Schools with Fruit-Based Yogurt Initiative
V-Rich, an emerging clean dairy and wellness brand that aims to cultivate healthier food habits in India, has introduced a unique program targeted at school children in Hyderabad. The company is collaborating with five reputed schools from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to swap conventional, sugar-laden desserts for a more nutritious alternative — their all-natural fruit yogurt. This switch offers students a healthy, gut-friendly option that satisfies their taste buds.
Founder and CEO Yogitha Jahnavi remarked, “At V-Rich, we believe that real change begins young.” The company’s initiative seeks to address the problem of children being overexposed to processed snacks which are laden with sugar or artificial flavors. “With this school partnership, we aimed to provide something wholesome and effortlessly delightful — yogurt turned out to be an ideal solution,” she added.
Currently, the pilot initiative spans a varied mix of legacy schools and international ones. V-Rich aids in the seamless implementation by delivering freshly prepared portioned yogurts during lunch or snack times. The menu features child-friendly options such as Mango, Banana, Vanilla (with real vanilla bean), and Mulberry yogurts made from hung curd and real fruits without added sugars or preservatives. Every 80-100g serving is formulated to meet the specific dietary requirements of children. “Our yogurts are naturally sweetened with fruit sugars, providing a potent source of protein and calcium while being low in fat. It is a clean snack that supports digestive health and sustains mental focus,” the brand said.
During the product development phase, V-Rich collaborated with nutritionists and pediatric experts to ensure safety, portion size, and flavor for young consumers. As part of the program’s ongoing refinement, the brand also keeps an open line of communication with school administrators and parents.
The response has already been more than favorable. Schools love the hygiene practices and punctuality of the service; parents appreciate the healthier alternative; and students are enjoying the creamy fruity flavors. Some schools even requested that yogurt be served twice a week instead of just special days.
This initiative is in line with broader goals for V-Rich to be India’s most trusted clean food brand. The company has plans to expand the program to schools in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune, where a cold-chain logistics network is already in place. There are also active discussions to incorporate yogurt into weekly school meal programs through subscription models.
To date, there is also a longitudinal study being developed by nutrition experts that will track behavioral and health outcomes among participating students—potentially setting up what could become a national blueprint for clean school snacking.

Let’s make RTC buses role models for respect
Public Transport is for us, and we must own it and deal with it accordingly to make it a pleasant experience for all
Hyderabad, July 17, 2025 — As women across Telangana embrace the free bus travel scheme in record numbers, a group of young researchers from EThames Business School is urging a deeper look into the commuting experience, not to find fault, but to find ways forward. Their message is clear: when a free ride sparks a fight, what commuters truly need is respect.
Recent viral videos of seat-related disputes among women commuters in TSRTC buses highlight the growing demand for public transport infrastructure, particularly during peak hours. The study by EThames students emphasises that these are not just isolated clashes, but reflections of the need for greater support systems, awareness, and shared commuter responsibility.
Public transport is more than just mobility — it’s a lifeline for millions. Telangana’s RTC operates over 9,000 buses daily, serving more than 40 lakh commuters across Telangana, a significant proportion of them women. The free travel scheme has empowered countless women with newfound independence and access to education, work, and healthcare.
However, with the rise in ridership, the challenges of overcrowding, comfort, and safety also increase. This study by EThames aims to make a positive contribution to existing efforts by highlighting practical, implementable suggestions to improve travel dignity for all.
The Key Findings from the EThames Study. The study was conducted over 43 days, and the student-led study surveyed 480 women and held 20+ interviews across bus routes in Hyderabad. While 52% of the surveyed respondents reported experiencing discomfort, only 23% were aware of or had used safety tools, such as apps or helplines. Key concerns included overcrowding, undertrained staff, and limited complaint visibility.
Rather than place blame, the students propose enhancements to the existing system to make public transport more respectful and responsive.
The recommendations for a safer, inclusive ride include Gender sensitivity training for RTC staff, QR-code-based complaint systems in buses and terminals, Improved lighting and clean toilets at key bus stops, Women-only buses during peak hours, and Bystander training to empower fellow commuters and Collaborative policing with plainclothes and uniformed staff
The research, instead of just highlighting problems, came out with a lot of suggestions, initiatives and ideas. Some of their suggestions include running a campaign to foster Respect. To complement operational changes, the team also recommends public-facing campaigns:
#MySafeSeat: Real experiences from women commuters
- Ride With Respect: Visual messaging across buses and bus stands
- SHE Can Travel: Testimonies from women who benefit from safety upgrades
- Bus Buddy Program: Student or senior volunteers ride alongside during peak hours
- Know Your Rights Cards: Helpline info in every bus
The study was conducted by students Divya Bengani, Mishika Chirag Kotecha, Drishti Jain, Syed Osman Ali, and Sayam Jain, under the guidance of Dr. Sahera Fatima and Dr. Naga Lakshmi Kundeti, Assistant Professors at EThames.
“Respect is the ticket every commuter should carry,” the students insist. No one is safe unless everyone is safe, they add.
V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, Vice Chairman & MD of TGSRTC, welcomed the insights and said, “TGSRTC is fully committed to strengthening women’s safety and dignity. We appreciate the EThames study, and many of its suggestions are already being addressed — from increasing bus frequency to crew training, safety helplines, CCTV, bus tracking apps, and collaboration with SHE Teams. Continuous improvement remains our priority.”
Shikha Goel, IPS, Director General, Women Safety Wing (SHE Teams & Bharosa), added: “Every woman deserves to travel freely and fearlessly. This study offers a roadmap to help achieve that, reinforcing our mission to make public spaces safer and more inclusive.”
Several countries offer innovative solutions worth emulating, the students suggest. France allows women to request on-demand night stops closer to home. Brazil’s real-time reporting apps link directly to transit police. Japan and Colombia offer women-only compartments or buses during peak hours. Sweden uses gender-disaggregated data to design safer routes and better-lit stops. Singapore combines AI-driven surveillance with strict law enforcement. These strategies show that behavioral change, design innovation, and tech integration can go hand-in-hand.
Several Indian states have adopted safety initiatives like Pink Buses (Delhi), women-only seats (Bengaluru), and compartments (Mumbai); these remain isolated efforts, not national norms. SHE Teams and free rides for women by SCSC in IT Corridors of Cyberabad are commendable, but systemic challenges like overcrowding, undertrained staff, and limited awareness still prevail.
Let’s together contribute and build a pleasant public transport experience for all.
