FILM & TAPE EXPO 2026 to Convene Global Manufacturers and Buyers in Shenzhen

Shenzhen, China Oct 06: FILM & TAPE EXPO 2026 will take place from October 27-29, 2026, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, buyers, and industry leaders from across the global functional film and adhesive tape value chain.

 

The exhibition is expected to host more than 1,200 exhibitors and brands across 80,000 square meters, providing a platform for business networking, technology exchange, and supply chain collaboration among stakeholders serving the electronics, automotive, semiconductor, energy storage, display, and advanced materials sectors.

 

As demand for high-performance materials continues to expand across emerging industries, FILM & TAPE EXPO 2026 will showcase innovations spanning functional films, industrial adhesive tapes, specialty chemicals, die-cutting solutions, coating technologies, and advanced manufacturing equipment. More than 200 new products are expected to be introduced during the event.

 

The exhibition will feature participation from internationally recognized companies including 3M, tesa, Kaneka, LINTEC, KIMOTO, Oji, Lohmann, Covestro, and Elkem Silicones, alongside leading Asian manufacturers such as Shuangxing, Kanghui New Materials, SDIC, Crown, and Yongguan. Collectively, exhibitors will represent key segments of the industry supply chain, from raw materials and adhesives to precision converting and production technologies.

 

To reflect evolving market priorities, this year’s edition will introduce dedicated zones focused on Lightweight Materials, ESG Materials, and Die-Cutting Technologies. A specialized New Energy Materials & Equipment Zone will also return, highlighting solutions supporting battery manufacturing and renewable energy applications, including battery separator films, aluminum-plastic films, and tab tapes.

 

More than 30 industry summits and technical forums are scheduled alongside the exhibition, addressing developments in semiconductor materials, advanced polyimide films, automotive applications, thermal management technologies, battery materials, sustainable manufacturing, and next-generation coating and converting processes. These sessions are expected to provide insights into industry trends, technological advancements, and future growth opportunities.

 

International participation remains a key component of the event. Organizers expect more than 3,000 overseas buyers from 52 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India. FILM & TAPE EXPO 2026 will be held as part of Industrial Technology World Asia (ITWA), a co-located industrial exhibition platform covering 180,000 square meters and expected to bring together more than 3,600 exhibitors and over 170,000 professional visitors.
