Meritz Securities Partners with Benzinga to Bring Real-Time U.S. Market Intelligence to Korean Investors

Stock News API and Bulls Say Bears Say API bring real-time market news and analyst sentiment to MOUM, Meritz Securities’ next-generation AI investment platform

DETROIT and SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Benzinga, a leading provider of real-time financial news and market intelligence, today announced that Meritz Securities has added Benzinga’s Stock News API and Bulls Say Bears Say API to its investing platform, bringing real-time market news and analyst sentiment insights directly into the trading experience for South Korean investors.

Benzinga x Meritz Securities

Meritz, one of South Korea’s leading securities firms, continues to expand the market data available across its platform as more Korean investors look to trade U.S. equities and other global markets. As a result, the relationship gives Meritz users access to Benzinga’s real-time news coverage alongside concise, balanced analyst sentiment, all within a single experience.

The integration is part of Meritz Securities’ broader strategy to build MOUM as a next-generation AI investment platform by bringing together leading global market data, financial content and AI capabilities into a unified investment experience.

Benzinga’s Stock News API delivers real-time headlines and breaking news across U.S. equities, covering earnings, analyst actions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory developments, and other market-moving events as they happen. Similarly, the Bulls Say Bears Say API distills analyst research into concise bullish and bearish summaries for a given stock, helping investors quickly understand both sides of the investment case without wading through dense reports.

Through this integration, Meritz is bringing both feeds directly into MOUM, giving users a faster path from headline to context. Instead of piecing together news and analyst opinion from multiple sources, Meritz investors can view real-time coverage and sentiment summaries side by side, right where they are already making decisions.

By combining real-time market intelligence with AI-powered analysis and trading capabilities, Meritz aims to create a more seamless path from information discovery and analysis to investment decision-making within a single platform.

The relationship also marks one of Benzinga’s first direct data integrations with a major South Korean brokerage, reflecting the growing demand among Asian investors for the same real-time market intelligence long relied on by U.S. and European trading platforms. For Benzinga, it is a meaningful step in expanding its data footprint across Asia’s fast-growing retail investing market.

“Meritz is one of the most respected names in Korean finance, and bringing our real-time news and sentiment data to their platform reflects the growing appetite among Korean investors for the same market intelligence used by trading platforms globally,” said Jae Hur, Head of Asia at Benzinga. “Stock News and Bulls Say Bears Say give Meritz users a faster, clearer read on what’s moving the market and why.”

“Our vision for MOUM goes beyond simply adding individual investment tools. We are building a next-generation Agentic AI investment platform that connects market data, financial content, AI-powered intelligence and trading into a single, seamless investment experience,” said Jangwook Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Inno Biz Division, overseeing Meritz Securities’ platform business. “Our collaboration with Benzinga is an important part of that strategy, and we will continue to expand our global ecosystem by working with leading technology, data and financial partners around the world.”

As Korean investors increasingly seek direct access to U.S. markets, real-time context has become as important as raw price data. The addition of Stock News and Bulls Say Bears Say reflects that broader shift, giving Meritz a deeper layer of market intelligence to offer its growing base of investors.

More broadly, the collaboration reflects Meritz Securities’ strategy to connect Korean investors with world-class global investment infrastructure, content and technology through MOUM, while continuing to expand partnerships across the global financial ecosystem.

LG Electronics India redefines visual excellence with the launch of LG MAGNIT Gen 2 Micro LED Display

New Delhi, Sept 08: LG Electronics India Limited, India’s consumer electronics brand, today strengthened its Information Display  portfolio with the launch of the new LG MAGNIT Gen 2 Micro LED display, unveiled at the 12th edition of its propriety platform, the Grand Tech Seminar. The new LG MAGNIT Gen 2 combines enhanced visual performance with features designed to simplify deployment and long-term operation. The ultra-high-definition display features enhanced contrast, deeper blacks, improved grayscale performance and 120Hz refresh rate support for smoother, more realistic imagery.

LG Electronics India redefines visual excellence with the launch of LG MAGNIT Gen 2 Micro LED Display

Beyond visual excellence, the new LG MAGNIT Gen 2 is engineered to deliver differentiated value and convenience across installation, operation and maintenance. A prime example is the newly applied Line-to-Dottechnology. In conventional LED displays, driver ICs operate light sources by line, meaning a single pixel defect can affect an entire line. LG’s LTD technology converts potential line defects into dot-level defects, ensuring that any pixel issue remains isolated to a single dot. This significantly minimizes visual disruption and enables a more comfortable, seamless viewing experience.

LG‘s new Line-to-Dot technology further enhances image quality by reducing the visibility of minor pixel imperfections on screen. A patented front-access alignment system simplifies installation and maintenance, and optical fiber connectivity enables secure, long-distance signal transmission for greater infrastructure flexibility. Together, these advancements make the LG MAGNIT Gen 2 well-suited for premium commercial environments and luxury residential applications.

Commenting at the launch of the new product, Mr. Hemendu Sinha, Senior Vice President, LGE India Information Display, said,
“With the launch of the LG MAGNIT Gen 2, LGE India is setting a new gold standard for ultra-premium visual experiences, introducing a product that represents the absolute apex of display technology. We are bringing an unrivaled premium quotient to the market—empowering luxury retail and hospitality sectors with an immersive canvas that elevates brand storytelling to an art form. Simultaneously, its pixel-perfect, fail-safe precision makes it the ultimate choice for corporate boardrooms and mission-critical command centres, while offering elite residences a bespoke cinematic masterpiece. Information Display continues to be one of our fastest-growing segments, and we remain deeply committed to providing our discerning Indian clients with futuristic innovations that seamlessly blend technological brilliance with absolute reliability, redefining what is possible for enterprises and premium consumers alike.”
The name LG MAGNIT combines “magnificent” with “nit” – the unit of luminance – reflecting the display’s exceptional brightness and breathtaking picture quality. It features ultra-high resolution, scalable screen configurations and enhanced installation convenience. This makes it an ideal solution for an array of commercial environments, from expansive halls, auditoriums and conference rooms to premium retail spaces, professional broadcast studios and control rooms.

Installation convenience has also been enhanced to complement LG MAGNIT’s infinitely scalable design, in which LED cabinets – the basic building blocks of LED signage – connect seamlessly like blocks. The new model features a slimmer profile than previous versions and incorporates technology that allows for easy and precise alignment adjustment. Traditionally, installers adjusted cabinet alignment from the rear and then verified results from the front. LG MAGNIT simplifies this process with a patented front-access alignment technology that enables fine alignment adjustments directly from the front of the display, significantly reducing installation time for large-scale screens.

To further enhance picture quality and durability, LG MAGNIT applies a black coating to the front of the display, delivering deeper blacks compared to conventional LED displays. This coating helps maximize contrast and sharpen the color accuracy of LED elements to achieve premium picture quality. It also provides a protective shield against moisture, dust and external impact, improving overall durability.

LG MAGNIT Essential All-in-One Display

LGE India also launched the new LG MAGNIT Essential AIO display, combining chip-on-board Micro LED technology, an embedded webOS controller and built-in speakers in a single package designed for simplified installation and maintenance. Featuring Full HD resolution, 600 nits of brightness and front-service access, the 136-inch LASA display is designed to help organizations deploy large-format visual experiences with reduced installation complexity and streamlined operation.

Ganesh Chaturthi Fever Grips Cities as Festive Demand Gives Local Businesses a Boost

Ganesh Chaturthi Fever Grips Cities as Festive Demand Gives Local Businesses a Boost

Pic Credit: Pexel

New Delhi, Sep 8: With Ganesh Chaturthi just around the corner, cities across India are beginning to take on a festive look. Streets, markets, homes and community pandals are being decorated with colourful lights, flowers and traditional ornaments as preparations for welcoming Lord Ganesha gather pace.

Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 14 this year, and the approaching festival is already creating a visible buzz in local markets.

For businesses, the festival is bringing a fresh wave of demand across several categories. Shops selling decorative items, lighting, flowers, torans, rangoli materials and puja essentials are seeing increased interest as families and community groups prepare their homes and pandals.

The festive rush is also benefiting sweet shops and food businesses. Laddoos, modaks and other traditional sweets remain an important part of Ganesh Puja, with families buying them both for offerings and for sharing with relatives, friends and neighbours. The rise in festive activity provides an important opportunity for small sweet shops, local food makers and home-based sellers to increase their sales.

Ganesh idols remain at the heart of the celebrations. Artisans and idol makers are busy preparing idols in different sizes and designs to meet demand from households, housing societies and large community celebrations. Markets are offering everything from traditional clay idols to more decorative designs.

At the same time, an important change is becoming visible in the way people are choosing their idols. Eco-friendly Ganesh idols are gaining attention as consumers look for ways to celebrate the festival while reducing their impact on the environment. Natural clay and other biodegradable materials are increasingly being preferred over Plaster of Paris and idols finished with chemical-based paints.

The idea behind eco-friendly idols is simple: devotion does not have to come at the cost of nature. Idols made from suitable natural and biodegradable materials can break down more easily during immersion, reducing the amount of long-lasting waste entering rivers, lakes and other water bodies. Natural, non-toxic colours can further reduce the environmental impact.

This shift is also creating opportunities for artisans and small businesses producing sustainable festival products. From clay idols and natural colours to reusable decorations and traditional handmade items, the demand for greener alternatives is opening another segment within the festive economy.

The Ganesh festival therefore represents more than a religious celebration. It brings together consumers, artisans, sweet makers, decorators, flower sellers, retailers and small businesses, creating economic activity across multiple parts of the local market.

As the final preparations begin, the combination of colourful streets, decorated homes, traditional sweets and beautifully crafted idols is setting the stage for another vibrant Ganesh Chaturthi. For consumers and businesses alike, the festival is becoming an occasion to celebrate tradition while also giving greater importance to sustainability and responsible choices.

Wondrlab Launches WondrAgents, India’s First Unified Agentic Operating System for End-to-End Influencer Marketing

–  Pioneering an Agentic Operating System for influencer marketing, WondrAgents powers Wondrlab’s influencer SaaS platforms, OPA & Opportune

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Wondrlab today unveiled WondrAgents, India’s first unified Agentic Operating System for influencer marketing, powering its influencer marketing platforms OPA and Opportune. Built as a network of seven specialised AI agents, WondrAgents seamlessly executes the complete influencer campaign lifecycle, from campaign brief and creator discovery to outreach, negotiation, contracting, content evaluation and ROI reporting, helping brands reduce campaign go-live time by up to 70% while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Vandana Verma, Co-Founder, Wondrlab Network, and Shidush Contractor, Chief Operating Officer, OPA & Opportune

The launch marks the next evolution of Wondrlab’s ‘Total Influence’ vision, bringing together years of influencer marketing expertise, proprietary creator intelligence, campaign learnings and machine learning into a unified operating system that enables brands to execute influencer campaigns with greater speed, transparency and precision.

Unlike conventional AI tools that automate individual tasks, WondrAgents is designed as a unified ‘Agentic Operating System’ where seven specialised AI agents work alongside campaign teams to power every stage of campaign execution. Each agent is trained to optimise against a brand’s campaign objectives, from campaign planning and creator discovery to negotiation, content evaluation and performance reporting, while human teams continue to lead strategy, creativity and relationship management.

The launch addresses one of the industry’s biggest challenges, where brands continue to rely on disconnected tools, manual coordination and fragmented reporting. By bringing the entire influencer marketing workflow onto a single unified intelligent operating system across OPA and Opportune, our SaaS platforms, WondrAgents enables greater operational efficiency, complete campaign visibility and continuous optimisation throughout the campaign lifecycle.

Speaking about the launch, Vandana Verma, Co-Founder, Wondrlab Network, said, “Since 2020, we’ve built one of India’s largest influencer marketing ecosystems through OPA and Opportune. Every campaign we’ve executed has added to the rich knowledge base of creator intelligence, brand insights and campaign learnings. WondrAgents is built on that proprietary knowledge base. We’ve invested significantly in training these agents with years of experience, and we will continue investing in agentic AI because we believe the future of influencer marketing lies in humans and AI agents working together to deliver faster execution, smarter decisions and better outcomes for brands.”

Shidush Contractor, Chief Operating Officer, OPA & Opportune, added, “We’re excited to introduce India’s first unified Agentic Operating System for influencer marketing. WondrAgents is built to tackle the toughest campaign briefs, bringing together great minds, specialised AI agents and years of campaign intelligence to execute faster and smarter. From evaluating creators and generating personalised scripts to optimising campaign performance, the platform takes care of the operational complexity, allowing teams to focus on ideas, creativity and strategic decisions. This isn’t about replacing people; it’s about combining human intelligence with AI agents to deliver greater transparency, measurable impact and a new level of efficiency for brands.”

Today, every influencer campaign starts almost from scratch, with campaign knowledge scattered across multiple tools, platforms and teams. WondrAgents change that by building a living intelligence library for every brand. Every campaign enriches this proprietary knowledge base with creator insights, category intelligence, audience behaviour and performance data, enabling the agents to automatically apply those learnings to future campaigns. The more brands use WondrAgents, the smarter, faster and more effective their influencer marketing becomes.

The agents have been developed by BigStep, Wondrlab Group’s software engineering and technology company, bringing its expertise in AI, automation and digital engineering to the platform

MEXC Launches Opportunity Compass as 53.7% of Crypto Users Move Into Stocks but Knowledge Gaps Remain

Five-season program brings together industry partners to help crypto-native users better understand global markets, asset classes and emerging financial opportunities

MUTSAMUDU, Comoros, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — MEXC, a pioneer in 0-fee digital asset trading, today officially launched Opportunity Compass, a global markets education initiative aimed at advancing the market understanding as crypto and traditional finance become increasingly connected. Guided by the core message, “Know the Market, Know Your Opportunities,” the initiative is designed to help crypto-native users build a more systematic understanding of traditional and crypto markets while bringing together perspectives from across the broader financial and digital asset ecosystem.

MEXC Launches Opportunity Compass as 53.7% of Crypto Users Move Into Stocks but Knowledge Gaps Remain

The initiative comes as crypto users increasingly look beyond digital assets. Recent research from MEXC and CoinGecko found that trading volumes for traditional financial assets on crypto exchanges reached $1.45 trillion in the first half of 2026, nearly 10 times the total recorded for all of 2025.

Key findings from MEXC’s user survey include:

  • 53.7% of respondents have already invested in stocks, showing that stock investing is becoming increasingly relevant to crypto-native users.
  • Among users who have not used stock investment products, 43.1% cited insufficient investment knowledge as a key barrier.
  • Among users who previously used stock products but stopped, 48.3% said limited investment knowledge was one of the reasons they discontinued participation.
  • Among current stock investors, 44% said individual stock price movements influenced their participation, while 34% pointed to the AI boom as a key driver.

The findings suggest that access is expanding faster than understanding. As crypto-native users move across stocks, ETFs, commodities and digital assets, many are still developing the knowledge needed to understand market cycles, industry trends, asset behavior and investment risk. Greater access to financial opportunities therefore creates a growing need for more structured market education.

“Finding opportunities is important. What matters even more is having a systematic way to understand, evaluate and act on them,” said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. “As financial markets become more connected and users gain exposure to a wider range of assets, they need more than access alone. Opportunity Compass is designed to help users understand what drives different markets, evaluate opportunities and risks, and ultimately build their own framework for navigating a more complex financial landscape.”

Building Market Education with Industry Participants

Opportunity Compass is designed not only as an MEXC education program, but as a broader industry education initiative that brings together perspectives from across the evolving financial ecosystem. The group of participating partners includes xStocks by PAYWARD, Plume, Tether, Pyth, Optimism, CMT Digital and RootData, representing different parts of the digital asset and financial ecosystem.

With participation from industry partners alongside MEXC’s educational content, Opportunity Compass aims to connect foundational market knowledge with broader industry perspectives, helping users better understand both established markets and the emerging models shaping the evolution of global finance.

Featuring five seasons and 30 episodes, Opportunity Compass takes users from understanding global markets and major asset classes to interpreting macroeconomic and industry trends, exploring emerging financial models and evaluating market opportunities. Rather than focusing on individual products or investment recommendations, the program aims to help users understand how markets work and what drives opportunities and risks.

From Seeing Opportunities to Understanding Markets

  • Season 1: See the Global Opportunities. Understand the broader global financial market landscape and how different markets connect.
  • Season 2: Understand Asset Value. Explore what gives stocks, gold, commodities, ETFs, Bitcoin and other assets value.
  • Season 3: Decode Market Trends. Understand how interest rates, inflation, market cycles, earnings and industry trends such as AI and semiconductors shape markets.
  • Season 4: Explore Emerging Opportunities. Explore tokenized assets, real-world assets, prediction markets and other emerging financial models at the intersection of crypto and traditional finance.
  • Season 5: Become an Opportunity Explorer. Build an independent framework for understanding markets, evaluating opportunities and assessing risk.

Opportunity Compass will roll out progressively from September through December 2026, with new episodes released regularly across all five seasons through a dedicated Opportunity Compass education hub.

Extending MEXC’s Infinite Opportunities philosophy into education, Opportunity Compass aims to help users not only discover more financial opportunities, but also develop the knowledge needed to understand and evaluate them more independently.

All Opportunity Compass content is intended for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice.

India’s Employment Outlook Strengthens in Q4 as Changing Roles and Skills Reshape Why Employers Add Staff
New Delhi, Sep 08: India’s hiring momentum strengthens heading into the final quarter of 2026, according to ManpowerGroup’s latest Employment Outlook Survey of 3,055 employers across India conducted from July 1 to 31, 2026. The Net Employment Outlook (NEO) for Q4 2026 stands at 54%, up six points from the previous quarter and eleven points from the same period last year. Globally, India is the frontrunner for its employment outlook, 25 points above the global average.

Sixty-five percent of employers in India plan to increase staffing between October and December, compared with 11% anticipating reductions, while 24% expect staffing levels to remain unchanged. Anticipated hiring increases are driven primarily by company expansion, while expected decreases are driven by automation/technology & economic challenges.

Beneath the headline number, the data points to a workforce in transition. Among employers planning to add staff, 69% cite changing roles and skills, including branching into new areas and new expertise demanded by advancing technology, as reasons for hiring.

“Employer confidence in India continues to build while heading into Q4 2026, with the Net Employment Outlook climbing to 54% at a six-point rise over the previous quarter and eleven points higher than this time last year,” said Mr. Sandeep Gulati, Managing Director, ManpowerGroup India and Middle East. “This keeps India firmly ahead of every other market globally, 25 points above the average. What’s notable is the nature of this growth: employers aren’t just adding headcount, they are rethinking the shape of their workforce. Nearly 70% of employers are hiring in response to evolving roles and changing skill demands. The continued expansion of Global Capability Centers, alongside strong growth in sectors such as Finance & Insurance and Hospitality, is creating sustained demand for talent. While employers continue to navigate challenges ranging from AI-driven workforce transformation to skills shortages and mis-matched candidate expectations, the overall outlook remains one of confident and purposeful growth.”

“The MEOS survey report captures a shift in the intent behind hiring decisions, not just their scale,” Mr. Gulati added. ” More than a growth story, today’s hiring momentum reflects organizations’ efforts to build the capabilities required for an evolving world of work. Across India, employers are reshaping their workforces with greater intent, placing a stronger emphasis on capability building than on headcount growth alone. Recruitment is also accelerating, with 57% of employers reporting a faster time-to-hire than a year ago, driven largely by the adoption of AI in hiring processes. The real test now lies in skills availability. As job requirements continue to evolve, sourcing candidates with the right capabilities is becoming increasingly difficult, making sustained investment in upskilling and continuous learning critical to maintaining this momentum.”

The NEO across Sectors and Regional Highlights

Indian employers in all 9 sectors anticipate increasing staffing levels in the next quarter. Compared to last quarter, job markets have strengthened in 6 sectors and weakened in 3 sectors. Looking back to this time last year, hiring intentions have strengthened in 7 sectors and weakened in 2.
  • Finance & Insurance and Hospitality report the strongest NEO for Q4 2026 at 60% and 58% each, followed by Information at 57%.
  • India‘s most competitive sector, Finance & Insurance is expected to grow by 4 points since last quarter and since Q4 2025. Globally, India holds the second position for its employment expectations in this sector, above the sector’s global outlook by 24 points.
  • Highest Q-on-Q increase is seen in Hospitality by 21 points, followed by Public Sector, Health & Social Services with 15 points and Trade & Logistics sector by 9 points.
  • Utilities & Natural Resources reported the most decline from Q3 by 23 points followed by Professional, Scientific & Technical Services by 3 points.
  • Hiring intentions have strengthened in all four regions compared with the previous quarter and year-over-year. The most competitive region in India is the East region with a NEO of 59, rising by 7 points since last quarter and 23 points compared with the same quarter last year. This region reports the greatest growth in expectations since last quarter and this time last year.
  • South reported the second highest growth in expectations since Q4 2025 with an increase of 10 points.
  • Employers in very large organizations with 1,000 to 4,999 employees are the most optimistic with a NEO of 58, rising by 8 points since last quarter and 5 points since Q4 2025. Globally, India ranks third for its employment expectations in these organizations, beating the global outlook by 29 points.
  • When compared to Q3, employment expectations have risen in all organization sizes except those with 10-49 employees where it declined marginally by 2 points.
  • Employers in small organisations with less than 10 employees have seen the most growth from last year by 20 points followed by large organisations with 5000+ employees by 12 points.
Changing Roles and Skills Drive a Growing Share of Hiring

While company expansion (44%) remains the single most common reason employers are adding staff, the survey shows that hiring is increasingly about transformation rather than growth alone. According to the research findings, 39% of organizations are increasing headcount due to advancing technology, 30% are hiring to adapt to shifting skill requirements, and 22% are adding staff to backfill vacant positions.

Together, these findings reveal a labor market in which employers are reshaping their workforces, not merely expanding them, as evolving roles and skill demands to redefine the future of work.

AI Is Accelerating Hiring Processes

There is increasing use of AI across recruitment, and employers are seeing a universal improvement in time-to-hire. Fifty-seven percent say their average time-to-hire has become faster compared with 2025, while 23% say it has remained about the same and only 19% say it has become slower.

Skills shortages continue to constrain progress. Employers identify a lack of candidates with required skills (36%), mismatches between candidate expectations and job requirements (36%), a lack of qualified candidates in local markets (28%), surge in AI-created resumes (26%), and lengthy recruitment processes (26%) as key obstacles slowing hiring.

The next survey will be released in December 2026 and will report hiring expectations for Q1 2027. The 2027 cycle marks the 65th anniversary of the ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey.

Lecxe Consulting Debuts to Help Indian Businesses Turn AI into Business Outcomes

GURUGRAM, India, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Lecxe Consulting is an AI consulting and implementation company helping Indian businesses build custom AI powered business systems. Since inception, Lecxe has helped clients reduce costs up to 80% every month through AI-powered business systems, while simplifying the way organisations operate.

As businesses increasingly look to adopt AI to improve productivity and decision-making, many continue to struggle with old and fragmented systems, disconnected workflows and technology that doesn’t fit the way they actually operate. Lecxe was founded to solve this challenge.

Unlike traditional consulting firms that stop at strategy or software providers that sell standardised solutions, Lecxe stays with its clients beyond implementation – helping them design, deploy and continuously evolve AI systems that deliver measurable results.

Businesses have no shortage of AI tools today. What they often lack is a clear roadmap to make AI work within their existing operations. Lecxe enters the market at a time when organisations are looking for experienced teams that can turn AI into real business value.

“AI is no longer a future investment, it’s becoming a business necessity. The question is no longer whether businesses should adopt AI, but how they can make it deliver real value. That’s the thought behind Lecxe. Inspired by the reverse of ‘Excel’, our name reflects the shift from manual spreadsheets to AI-powered business systems built for the way businesses operate today” — Shreshth Mehra, CTO, Lecxe

Guided by its philosophy of “Spend less, Run lean, Grow Fast.”, Lecxe believes AI should create measurable business value. Every solution is designed to reduce costs, improve efficiency, boost productivity and support revenue growth.

Every engagement at Lecxe begins with understanding the business before recommending the technology. The team then designs AI-powered business systems that fit existing workflows, making adoption simpler, faster and more effective.

“Technology is what we build. Consulting is what we do. Service is who we are. We often say we’re a hospitality company disguised as an AI company. The technology matters, but what clients value most is having a team thatlistens, responds quickly and genuinely cares about helping them grow.” — Sachin Mehra, COO, Lecxe

Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd and TRL Krosaki announce strategic JV to set up a 350,000 MTPA silica ramming mass plant in Odisha
  • ₹100 crore initial investment to strengthen RPEL’s manufacturing footprint in East India and support its long-term 1 Mn MTPA capacity ambition

JAIPUR, India, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd. (RPEL), world’s largest manufacturer of silica ramming mass, today announced a strategic joint venture with TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd. (TRL Krosaki) to establish a 350,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) silica ramming mass manufacturing facility in Odisha, with an initial investment of approximately ₹100 crore.

From Left to Right: Mr. Rajesh Kabra, Managing Director, Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd.; Mr. Sanjay Kabra, Chairman, Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd.; and Mr. Prasant Kumar Naik, Managing Director, TRL Krosaki Refractories Ltd., at the signing of the strategic Joint Venture agreement

The partnership marks a significant step in RPEL’s strategy to build a multi-location manufacturing platform, strengthen its presence in East India and create a more efficient supply network closer to key consumption centers.

The JV brings together RPEL’s patented manufacturing technology, established market presence and R&D capabilities with TRL Krosaki’s regional strength, quartzite resources in Odisha and global refractory expertise, backed by Krosaki Harima Corporation, Japan, and Nippon Steel Corporation, Japan. With RPEL’s existing group capacity of 534,000 MTPA and presence across 26 states in India and 40+ countries, the partnership provides a strong foundation for expanding its manufacturing and market footprint.

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Sanjay Kabra, Chairman, Raghav Productivity Enhancers Ltd., said, “This strategic partnership marks an important milestone in RPEL’s growth journey and our transition towards a multi-location manufacturing platform. By combining our differentiated technology and market capabilities with TRLK’s raw material resources, regional presence and global industry expertise, we are creating a strong platform for sustainable growth. This partnership also takes us closer to our ambition of reaching 1 Mn MTPA capacity and approximately 30% domestic market share, while reinforcing our focus on quality and cost leadership.”

A key strategic advantage of the JV will be long-term, exclusive access to quartzite from TRL Krosaki’s mines, ensuring raw material security and consistent product quality. RPEL will receive a royalty for usage of its patented manufacturing technology. The strategic location will also bring the company closer to key consumption centers in East India, enabling shorter delivery timelines, greater supply-chain efficiency and lower landed costs for customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Prasant Kumar Naik, Managing Director, TRL Krosaki Refractories Limited, said, “This joint venture marks an important strategic milestone for TRL Krosaki, enabling us to unlock greater value from our mineral resources and create new avenues for growth. Our partnership with RPEL brings together complementary strengths in technology, manufacturing and raw-material access, strengthening our position in the silica ramming mass market. The project will also support industrial development in Jharsuguda and the surrounding region by creating employment, supporting local enterprises and contributing to long-term economic growth.”

The Odisha facility will strengthen RPEL’s manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities while creating a platform for deeper penetration into East India. More importantly, the JV establishes a strategic building block for RPEL’s broader ambition to scale its manufacturing footprint to 1 Mn MTPA and strengthen its leadership in the silica ramming mass industry.
