“I’m inspired by the dedication, resilience, and compassion shown by IB students during such a complex time in the world. As IB graduates move forward—into higher education, careers, or service to their communities—they carry with them the competencies, values, and global mindset needed to thrive and make a meaningful difference.IB graduates leave not only with knowledge, but also with the perspective and purpose to lead, serve, and shape a better world. We are proud of who they are and the impact they’re already making.”

Its balanced, inquiry-based curriculum fosters academic achievement, critical thinking, language development, and personal growth. Offered in over 795 IB World Schools across the Asia-Pacific region and 177 IB World Schools in India, the DP aligns with local education systems while nurturing global perspectives and ethical leadership.
A series of DP curriculum alignment studies (2023) demonstrated that DP courses meet or exceed national or jurisdictional standards in South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, the United States, Spain, Mexico and Brazil. The studies confirmed that the DP offers world-class courses, strong academic depth and breadth, and adaptability across education systems.
Also, a global mindedness study (2021) found that DP and CP students in five countries across the world exhibited significantly higher global-mindedness levels benchmarked against their peers from a similar age group, highlighting the IB’s success in developing internationally minded and socially responsible graduates.
The Career-related Programme (CP) continues to grow across the Asia-Pacific region, with 82 IB World Schools currently offering the programme. In India alone, 41 IB World Schools have adopted the CP. The CP is designed for students aged 16–19 who want to combine academic studies with career-related learning. The CP develops key transferable skills such as confidence, responsibility, and a strong sense of purpose, offering students a practical and future-ready pathway.

Bounteous and Accolite Transform Kannagi Nagar School for 410 Students
Chennai, July 7, 2025 – A year after transforming the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) in Kannagi Nagar, Bounteous x Accolite, a global leader in end-to-end digital transformation services, in collaboration with Ladies Circle India Trust, has successfully completed the second phase of infrastructure development at the school. This initiative further strengthens access to quality education for more than 1,200 students from Classes 6 to 12, most of whom are first-generation learners from one of Chennai’s largest Tsunami resettlement colonies.

The revamped facilities were formally inaugurated by Dr. Irai Anbu, Former Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, and Mr. Kannappan, Director of School Education. A constant pillar of support, Dr. Irai Anbu has stood by this project from the start, ensuring the community’s needs are met with timely and meaningful action.
The recent upgrades include the construction of a new science laboratory to foster Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning, a staircase for safer inter-floor movement, and a renovated Headmistress’s room aimed at improving administrative efficiency. In a continued effort to promote hygiene and safety, the girls’ toilet block was refurbished, plumbing lines were repaired, and an inverter with battery backup was installed to ensure uninterrupted power for learning.
In addition to infrastructure, Bounteous x Accolite introduced holistic academic assessments for 410 students, helping teachers identify individual learning gaps and tailor academic support. These interventions are designed to improve student performance and retention.
“This initiative is about more than the infrastructure development for GHSS, Kannagi Nagar, it’s about building future for the next generation,” said Ketan Somani, President of Strategic Industries & Regional CEO, EMEA and APAC at Bounteous x Accolite. “Last year, we laid the foundation for a safer, more inspiring learning environment. This year, we have expanded that vision by creating spaces that support STEM learning and a student-centric academic approach. We remain deeply committed to enabling students from Kannagi Nagar to thrive, dream big, and become first-generation graduates.”
In Phase I of the project, the organization had renovated two major school blocks, replaced flooring in seven classrooms and corridors, installed new benches, desks, and green boards, and rewired electrical systems. A fully equipped computer lab with 12 laptops and 26 desktops was also established to build essential digital skills among students. The construction of a secure compound wall added a layer of safety for the school community.
This multi-phase CSR initiative is a powerful example of how public-private partnerships can bridge educational inequities and reduce dropout rates in underserved communities. It reflects the long-term vision of all stakeholders involved in creating sustainable, inclusive, and quality learning environments.

‘The Last Letter’ : British Lingua Students Stage Witty and Moving Drama Reflecting Social Realities
Patna, 7 July 2025: British Lingua, a premier institute in communicative English, witnessed a lively confluence of language, creativity, and performance as its students staged a thought-provoking and humorous play titled “The Last Letter.” The original script, penned by Mr Avinash Pandey—a student of the institute—beautifully captured the pulse of grassroots social work through wit, realism, and emotional nuance.

Set within the buzzing confines of an NGO office, the drama offered a light-hearted yet insightful portrayal of young professionals navigating their daily duties. In one memorable scene from Part 2A: Inside the NGO Office, the characters Sugandha, Ashish, and Sameer exchange quick-witted banter over a list of handwritten names.
“I’m doing it now,” Ashish says while typing. “But Sameer gave me some extra names to check. His handwriting looks like it was written during an earthquake!”
To this, Sameer retorts with a grin, “Maybe I want you to become a handwriting expert!”
The laughter peaked when Ashish admitted to reading “Rinku Devi” as “Rinku Devil,” sparking a round of chuckles and the line, “Maybe she was very naughty as a kid!”
The audience, comprising students, trainers, and guests, applauded the cast’s confident performances and natural dialogue delivery. The play, while humorous, subtly reflected deeper truths about human error, social engagement, and camaraderie in workplaces.
Dr Birbal Jha, noted author and Managing Director of British Lingua, lauded the production and its impact:
“A drama mirrors our society in a fictional way that creates a sense of romanticism while entertaining the soul. It helps us laugh at ourselves, reflect on our realities, and imagine a better world.”, said Dr Birbal Jha on the occasion.
He further commended the student playwright and performers, stating, “Drama, when blended with education, becomes a powerful tool for personality development and linguistic fluency. I congratulate Avinash Pandey and the entire team for their commendable effort.”
“The Last Letter” stands as a testament to British Lingua’s commitment to nurturing not just fluent speakers, but also expressive individuals with social insight and artistic flair.
