‘Looteri Dulhan’ on Hungama OTT Promises an Intense Clash Between Crime and Justice

May 21 :  Hungama OTT, one of India’s  digital entertainment platforms, launched its latest original series Looteri Dulhan on 19th May 2026, a sharp and riveting crime drama set against the heartland of Madhya Pradesh. Starring Pooja A Gor and Sanvika in powerful lead roles, alongside Manmohan Tiwari, the series weaves together a high-stakes investigation with a deeply compelling portrait of two women navigating a world that was never quite built for them.

Looteri Dulhan follows a bizarre crime wave hitting Madhya Pradesh, grooms being looted by a bride who disappears overnight. While others dismiss it, Sub Inspector Sandhya Yadav spots a pattern and begins chasing the unseen mastermind. Sharp, disciplined, and shaped by years of judgment, Sandhya is determined to prove herself, even as societal pressure around marriage lingers. Her investigation leads her to Maya, a brilliant con artist who turned survival into strategy, running a network that preys on men while staying one step ahead of the law. As Sandhya closes in, the case turns personal, triggering insecurities, obsessions, and a deeper understanding of the woman she is chasing. What unfolds is a tense cat-and-mouse pursuit between two women defying a patriarchal world, one upholding the law, the other rewriting it, both fighting to live life on their own terms. Will Sandhya catch Maya, or will Maya outplay the system and finally claim her freedom?

Talking about her character, Pooja A Gor shares,

“Sandhya is someone I deeply admire. She is not just a police officer doing her job, she is a woman constantly having to prove that she deserves to be in the room. What I found most compelling about her is that she carries two battles simultaneously, one on the outside where she is chasing a criminal, and one on the inside where she is struggling emotionally. That duality is what made this role so exciting for me. And the fact that her biggest adversary turns out to be a woman just as fierce and driven as herself, that dynamic is something audiences have rarely seen.”

Sharing her experience of stepping into Maya’s shoes, Sanvika says,

“When I first read the script, I knew Maya was going to be a challenge, and that is exactly why I said yes. She is someone who has built an entire world on her own terms, and there is a strange brilliance to the way her mind works. What really stayed with me while preparing was how close to reality this felt. These stories exist, people talk about them, and yet the woman at the centre of them is rarely ever truly understood. I wanted to bring that complexity to Maya, not just the cunning, but the why behind it. I think audiences are going to be surprised by how much they feel for her, even as she stays one step ahead of everyone.”

Manmohan Tiwari adds,

“What drew me to Looteri Dulhan was how layered and unexpected the story is. On the surface it looks like a crime drama, but at its core it is really about people, their choices, their compulsions, and the circumstances that push them to the edge. My character exists at a very interesting intersection of this world, and navigating that was a challenge I thoroughly enjoyed. What I will say is that this show will surprise you.”
